Beginning June 10 through July 5, St. John’s
will be delivering Meals on Wheels.
Everyone is encouraged to help with this
ministry. Volunteers are needed to pick up
meals at the Senior Center at 10:45 AM and
deliver them within the community, routes
taking about 60-90 min. Sign up TODAY on
the Registration Slip or contact Carol Sorsen

St. John’s Day Camp
Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries
(NLOM) staff from Camp Carol Joy Holling
will provide a camp program for all area youth
who have completed first through sixth
grades.

sanctuary or in the west hallway)
Mon., June 17th - Thurs., June 20th:
9 AM – 3 PM
Fri., June 21st: 8 AM – 1 PM
We are currently working on a plan for an
earlier drop off (8:00 AM) and a later pick up
(4:00 PM) for Day Camp. In order to make
this happen, we will be needing volunteers for
games and activities during this extra time.
Please let us know if you would be willing to be
a helper or supervisor for either Day Camp
and/or before or after times.
Volunteers: Please sign up on today’s
Registration Slip for volunteer times and days.
Lunch will be provided for all helpers (Noon-
1PM).
Join us June 12th at 5:30pm as
St. John’s kicks off the summer
with a BBQ! We will serve hot
dogs and hamburgers in the
Fellowship Hall grilled by Pastor
Randy! (You should only be a
little concerned!) Along with the burgers and hot
dogs and chips there will be plenty of homemade
desserts and salads! The Shocked Youth will be
serving. At 6:30pm we will have a half hour worship
service that will include music, scriptures, a brief
devotion and communion. You will be on your way
home by 7pm. See you then!!!
 GARDEN CLUB MEETING
On Sunday, June 9 @ 9:45 a.m., the Garden Club and any who would like to
join us to help maintain the garden areas around St. John’s will meet in the
library for a brief informative meeting. On Thursday, June 13 at 5 p.m. we will
work to tidy up for about an hour. All volunteers are welcome!
