In a rapidly changing world, technology helps us to readjust the functions of buildings and cities.

Like systems of living,

working, care of the body and spirit and circulation

- Technology helps us to improve the quality of life. We do not just design the buildings and cities but also to take
note of the the social, economic and environmental aspects and how will it affect the users in the future
- In which that will boosts the economic growth
- Thus the government will invest more on technology to be used in transportation because we all know that
traffic here in our country is unavoidable, especially in cities
- Technology gave us faster communication
- The trend now is a pre-fabricated housing, when the components are already fabricated at the factory thus
shortening the design and construction cycle.
- And lastly is the pleasant leisure

DISAVANTAGES

- Depletion of natural environment. The advancement of technology has caused negative impacts on environment
such as destruction of forest, which will lead to soil erosion, poor air, climate change and others. Some areas
convert green land into housing developments because of the rise in population.
- Which will lead to higher energy consumption
- Because we became reliant on using technology, the value of culture is diminishing
- The use of online social media outlets example phones or computers cause less frequency of face to face
communication or interaction
- Introduction of a more advanced technology has led to disregard the local industries as most of them see them
as so much lagging behind. And there are new demands that needs to be met bt the people and environment.
(some traditional industries may not be able to sustain or adapt. And people will prefer proven and tested

Technology has a revolutionary potential in architectural practice and it is transforming its boundaries for
centuries. Beginning with Vitruvius, we've seen technology, both in theory and practice enhance the way we design
buildings until the industrial revolution wherein the structures are starting to be built vertically. This does not imply that
all architectural practices should just rely on technology alone. There should be a balance between our design and
technology because our art and craft will never stop evolving especially when there new demands from the human
activity and change in environment. And if we, as designers don't stop evolving, we will always continue to have work to
do - finding a new way to represent, express, generate and construct buildings through digital information.

The landscape of technology in architecture is rapidly shifting which is why we need to pay attention today and
root out the technologies of tomorrow in order to fulfill the users’ needs by creating a better and innovative plans and
applying technology that is coordinated with what is happening in the social, economic, and environmental aspects.
