Every college student can relate to the dreadful feeling of studying for hours for an
exam. In college, students struggle to make the time to study because they’re juggling
between multiple classes, working, and maintaining a social life. Study habits either make or
break a student’s success in college. There are three different types of students. The students
who don’t study at all, the students who study last minute, and the students who plan and

are known to invest their time irresponsibly by partying, hanging out with friends, and
working too much. These students are the ones who have adopted lackadaisical attitudes and
have too much going on in their personal lives to devote time to study. They do not have the
will power to sit down, focus and study. Whatever the case is, students who do not study
receive poor results on their exams. Their success in college is limited due to their lack of
effort. If the plan is to do good in college, then it is crucial to make sure to put in the time to
study.
Putting in the time to study, means putting in the time! The type of students who think
that with minimal studying, a high grade is achievable, and that’s not the case. Most of these
students have a hard time understanding the material, but this is due to not putting enough
time into studying. These students are usually confused to as to why they are failing. Most of
these students think that college is like high school, where they can skate by and still
somehow pass. These are the students who procrastinate and wait until the last minute to
study. For that reason, they get what is called “last minute results.” Goals of receiving good
grades, means that you will have to prompt studying ahead of time.
The best thing that a student can do is to make sure that they set aside the time
required to be a successful student. This means that you plan and schedule a study date and
time. This way, plans can be made around study time. These students are especially known
for being responsible, time savvy students. The reason these students get good grades is
because they earned them by taking every necessary step in working towards them. They set
their standards high, which results in receiving the grades that they deserve. Most college
