Oracle Supplier Network - Version 5.0 and later

Information in this document applies to any platform.

GOAL

What IP Addresses should be visible to customer when OSN sends an outbound to customer. Need the IP address for firewall
restriction.

SOLUTION

The complete list of IP addresses are in the file attached.

The IP address 141.146.161.3 is from the big-IP server.

After Feb, 23rd 2014, the IP addresses listed (which includes the 141.146.4.11 and 141.146.4.10) below are the IP addresses
for OSN connectivity.

There are some changes starting Feb, 23rd 2014 related to the proxy servers used by OSN:

"Oracle Supplier Network currently uses the HTTP Proxy service - www-proxy.oracleoutsourcing.com - for document
delivery. The proxy service is due to be
decommissioned on 16th Feb 2014 at 10:00 AM GMT and a new proxy service hosted by Oracle Managed Cloud Services -
omcs-proxy.oracleoutsourcing.com - will
be used instead.

What does this mean for Oracle Supplier Network customers?

Outbound requests from Oracle HTTP Server mid-tiers should go through the OnDemand HTTP proxy services, www-
proxy.oracleoutsourcing.com and
omcs-proxy.oracleoutsourcing.com, which are the BIG-IP virtual servers that load balance the actual physical devices.
To ensure continued connectivity, the subnets for the new proxy service must be allowed access in customer's firewall.
Customers need to allow access to the following subnets in customer's firewall setup :

141.146.4.0/26
148.87.67.224/28
137.254.129.32/28
148.87.68.0/28

6/3/2019 Document 435409.1

143.47.128.48/28
129.91.190.208/29
140.85.20.176/28
141.143.67.80/28
148.87.221.144/28

You may open the firewall to receive requests from the above mentioned subnets. This configuration changes need to be
done by 16th Feb 2014, 10:00 AM GMT.
If you do not complete these changes before the mentioned time, the documents delivered by Oracle Supplier Network
might fail to reach your ERP system."

Why should I add so many IP sub-nets?

Oracle's Managed Cloud Service has many services running on the cloud. The load balancers will distribute incoming
requests over a number of back-end servers in the cluster. Hence, to offer best services to our customers we internally
need such number of hosts to optimize resource use, maximize throughput, minimize response time and also avoid
overload.
