Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)
1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology coaching and technology leadership from completing this field
experience?

By serving on the conference steering committee, attending, and presenting at GaETC, I have built a strong PLN of technology educators, coaches, and
leaders. I learned the value and power of technology to unite and inspire learners of all ages to create opportunities for themselves and others. At this
particular conference (2017) I engaged with a variety of thought leaders to create podcast interviews to build a repository of easily consumed content.

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3—knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)

Knowledge - I research, recommend, and implement strategies for initiating and sustaining technology innovations and for managing
the change process in schools through my various presentations.

Skills – I was able to utilize digital

communication and collaboration tools to communicate locally and globally with students,
parents, peers, and the larger community.

Dispositions –I was able to engage in appropriate field experiences to synthesize and apply the content and professional knowledge,
skills, and dispositions identified in these standards.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
A true impact can be measured immediately during and following a conference presentation. There are many folks who stayed after my sessions to
comment, or converse. I know the impact of my sessions on the Partnership Philosophy (Knight) will have a perpetual impact on coaches within the K-12
schools that attendees represented.
