ELECTRONIC PERSONAL DOSIMETER
Polimaster’s PM1203M personal electronic dosimeter
is a programmable dosimeter that continuously
measures the gamma dose and gamma does rate.
Unlike conventional electronic dosimeters, this light-
weight and multipurpose dosimeter is highly sensitive
to low levels of radiation and can register the slightest
changes in the radiation background.

The PM1203 is specifically designed to provide

continuous measurement of both the ambient dose
equivalent (DE) and dose equivalent rate (DER) of
gamma radiation. The instrument alerts the user
through an audible alarm when either the DE or DER
thresholds have been exceeded. The LCD screen will
also visually signify the danger.

In addition to protecting users from changes in

the radiation background, the PM1203M is also a
functional clock and calendar. The instrument can
alternate between displays to show the current time
and date as well as the radiation measurements.

Polimaster recommends the instrument for

professionals and non-professionals alike who would
want to protect themselves from radiation exposure.

Like many of Polimaster’s instruments the PM1203M

is able to transmit any of the data that it records in its
non-volatile memory via an infrared channel to a PC PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
for further processing and analysis.
