Description Our vision behind developing this kind of tooling is to provide the consistent look & feel ,rich user
interface and feel and ease to the client across the portal so that client can access the liferay features
from the front end as well rather than going to the Liferay internal tooling , So we developed a portlet
project which will be added to the page rather than in control panel.

Description This project involves the implementation of the accessibility throughout all the portlet components
developed by AON Hewitt. In this project we followed the ARIA standards defined for Web 2.0 and
screen reader which we used was JAWS 14.
Role & Responsibilities  Participation in the requirements analysis and finding out the gaps between client
requirements and actual FRD.
 Analysis of the existing portlets on which accessibility has to be applied.
 Finding out the technical feasibility for implementing the ARIA proposed changes with the
minimum code change and without breaking existing functionality.
