POLICE DEPARTMENT DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND VOTE TO APPROVE DRUG FUND PURCHASE TO 49 TIRE AND AUTO SERVICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,914.37 FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. 3. DISCUSS, CONSIDER, AND VOTE TO APPROVE DRUG FUND PURCHASE TO MS CHIEF ORGANIZATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. TOWN HALL MINUTES ‘The Mayor and Board of Alderman met in a Regular Board Meeting on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. in the Board Room of Town Hall. ‘Mayor Beechem called the meeting to order. Chief Joseph Daughtry gave the opening invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Beechem called the role with the following being present: Alderman Michael Adams, Alderman Frank Boyd, Alderman James Harrell, Alderman Eddie Jones. Alderwoman Margie Warren. Mayor Beechem opened the floor for Residents or Visitors Business: (3 minutes please) Wanda Prestage (not present presented by Mayor) ~ requesting that her water bill be forgiven with the exception of $125.87 + reconnect fee. A motion was made to allow Prestage to pay $200 plus reconnection fee. The motion was seconded. Motion carried. Thomas Lyle — Election Board, Muscadine Jubilee. He also asked i his PERS forms had been completed and sent to PERS. Christopher Lyle not present Kathey Mosley — suggested that the town get together and move forward. No other visitor business ‘Mayor Beechem opened the floor the Old Business: ‘* Vote to approve payment 10 Southern Connection for Police Dept to be paid from Drug Fund ($366.95) It was motioned and seconded. 1 opposed (Adams) Motion carried. © Vote to approve payment to 49 Tires and Auto for the Police Department from the Drug Fund ($2636.80). It was motioned and seconded. 2 opposed (Adams and Harrell) Motion carried.
