ORACLE EAM PLANT MAINTENANCE MODULE TRAINING

(STEP BY STEP GUIDE FOR WORK ORDER CREATION)
Step # 1:
Enter User ID and Password.

Step # 2:
Click on Work orders tab.

Step # 3:
Click on Requests tab.

Step # 4:
Click search button of Request Date From (Here you have to enter the start date and time of your shift).
Step # 5:
Select Request Date To (Here you have to enter the End date and time of your shift.
Step # 6:
Click on Go Button.
Step # 7:
Click on Create Work Order tab against the request mentioned below.
Step # 8:
Enter the following
 Schedule Start Date and Time (Planned Time to start a job).

 Schedule End Date and Time (Planned Time to complete a job).
 Change the Status >> Released
Step # 9:
Select Work Order Type.

Step # 10:
Select Shutdown Type.

Step # 11:
 Select the Operation tab present on the left side of the page.
 Enter the Operation Number (It must start from 10).
 Enter the Description of operation.
 Click on search button of Department Tab.
 Dialog box will appear select the Description in Search by Section and click Go Button.
Step # 12:
Select the CRM-Mech department.

Step # 13:
 Search the Resource whichever is required for the said operation.

 Search it by Description by clicking Go button.
Step # 14:
Select the required resource from the list shown below.

Step # 15:
Enter the assigned and required units of resources for the operation.
Step # 16:
 Click on Material Tab.

 Enter the Operation No. for against which you need a material.
 Click on item search button and search by Description.
Step # 17:
Enter the description of Material in capital letters and press Go button.

Step # 18:
Select the required Material from the list as shown.

Step # 19:
Enter the Required Quantity of material.

Step # 20:
In order to check the availability of required Material at store, click on Show All Details tab.
Step # 21:
Check the availability of required quantity of material at store against On Hand field.
Step # 22:
Select the Failure Information Tab

Step # 23:
 Select Yes in Failure Entry Required field.

 Search the type of Failure by clicking on search button as shown.
 Select description and press Go Button.
 Select the type of Failure from the list.
Step # 24:
 Select the cause by clicking on search button.

 The list of possible causes will appear, select the most appropriate cause.
Step # 25:
 Select the problem Resolution technique by clicking on search button.

 The list of possible resolution techniques will appear, select the resolution technique that will be
employed to solve the said problem.
Step # 26:
Click on save button at the top right corner of the page as shown below.
Step # 27:
Once you save it, The Order Confirmation note will be displayed on the screen.
Then Click on Apply button.

Step # 28:
To update the Work Order, Click on Maintenance home tab present at the top left corner of the page.
Step # 29:
 Click on Work Orders Tab as shown below.

 Check the status >> Released.
 Enter the Start date from and to as shown below.
 Then Click Go Button.
Step # 30:
 Work orders for the required dates and times along with their current status will be displayed at
the bottom of the screen.
 Click Update Work Order.
Step # 31:
Update the fields whichever you want, Then Click on Save Button as shown.
Step # 32:
Click on Apply Button.

Step # 33:
Confirmation note will be displayed as shown.

Step # 34:
To complete the Work order, follow the following steps.
Click on Maintenance Home Tab.

Step # 35:
 Click on Work Orders Tab.

 Select Start Date and Time.
 Select End Date and Time.
 To search for released orders select Status >> Released.
 Click Go Button.
Step # 36:
 Select Work Order field.

 Click Complete Work Order.
Step # 37:
Enter the following fields.
 Actual Start Date and Time of job.

 Actual End Date and Time of job.
 Shutdown Start Date and Time.
 Shutdown End Date and Time.

Step # 38:
Order Completion note will be displayed on the screen

Step # 39:
To take a print of work order for material issuance.
Click on work orders.

Step # 40:
Type Work Order No.
Press Go Button.
Step # 41:
Click on update work order.

Step # 42:
Click on Materials Tab.
Click On details.
Click on Material Request Details.
Copy the request Number.

Step # 43:

Step # 44:
Click on Reports.
Step # 45:
Write ISL M in Program Name and press b.
Select material issue note.

Step # 46:
Click on parameters.
Step # 47:
Paste the request Number that we have copied in step # 42 against Move Order No.
Click on continue button.

Step # 48:
Click on submit button.

Step # 49:
Click on Output.
Step # 50:
Click Open and take a print by pressing Ctrl + P.

Enter User ID and Password.

Click on Work orders tab.

Click on Requests tab.

Enter the following

 Schedule Start Date and Time (Planned Time to start a job).

Select Work Order Type.

Select Shutdown Type.

Select the CRM-Mech department.

 Search the Resource whichever is required for the said operation.

Select the required resource from the list shown below.

 Click on Material Tab.

Enter the description of Material in capital letters and press Go button.

Select the required Material from the list as shown.

Enter the Required Quantity of material.

Select the Failure Information Tab

 Select Yes in Failure Entry Required field.

 Select the cause by clicking on search button.

 Select the problem Resolution technique by clicking on search button.

Then Click on Apply button.

 Click on Work Orders Tab as shown below.

Click on Apply Button.

Confirmation note will be displayed as shown.

To complete the Work order, follow the following steps.

Click on Maintenance Home Tab.

 Click on Work Orders Tab.

 Select Work Order field.

Enter the following fields.

 Actual Start Date and Time of job.

Click on Apply Button.

Order Completion note will be displayed on the screen

To take a print of work order for material issuance.

Click on work orders.

Type Work Order No.

Click on update work order.

Click on Materials Tab.

Click on Material Request Details.

Copy the request Number.

Click on Apply Button.

Write ISL M in Program Name and press b.

Select material issue note.

Click on continue button.

Click on submit button.

Click Open and take a print by pressing Ctrl + P.
