General Policy
The following is an overview of the safety, Loss Prevention, QA/QC Program and scope
of training offered by SROUR ARABIA Co. For Contracting to maintain a vigorous
accident prevention program, thereby eliminating human distress and financial loss.
We place great emphasis on the comprehensive program, which is aggressively carried
out, throughout all level of the company. The Senior Safety Officer administrates the
program with the assistance of the Safety Supervisors.

SROUR ARABIA Co. For Contracting’s primary area of emphasis is on accident

prevention. Knowledgeable and safety conscious employees utilizing good techniques
and equipment are the cornerstones of the company’s accident prevention policy.
Accident can be avoided by using good judgement and common sense. Our workforce
and supervisors are well conversant with the recognition of hazards associated with
their jobs and we insist our employees work safely by complying with all necessary
precautions. Our accident prevention program includes training and education. Each
new arrival in the company receives a safety introduction course administrated by the
Safety Officer. The administration includes the proper use of protective equipment,
hazards which may be encountered on a particular job and a discussion on the
individual responsibility in avoiding injury or damage, fire prevention also a
demonstration on operating fire extinguishers, and how to render primary first aid.

We expect that all projects will be carried out with a high degree of safety for all
concerned. It is mandatory for all employees to follow the established safety standards
and methods of enforcing them, to ensure safe working conditions. All members of our
management and supervisors of all grades are well aware that safety must take equal
importance with cost and construction and that they have a moral and legal
responsibility to follow the company standards.

Our company Safety Officers are responsible for achieving our goal of “NO
ACCIDENT” by conducting weekly safety meeting to improve existing work methods
and daily job site inspection to recognize unsafe condition and to ensure legal and
contractual requirements affecting safety and health are complied with. The Safety
Officers will also be responsible to investigate any injury to personnel or loss or damage
to equipment and material and record a monthly safety report. Prior to commencement
of work, arrangements will be made for first aid and facilities for prompt attention to
injured, in accordance with Saudi Arabia law.
