Society on Social Bullying

To Ministry of Digital Economy and Society Assistant Minister

We urge you to take immediate and sustained actions against social bullying.

Society today, cyber bullying is bullying each other that happen to every age. Whether as children. The
teenagers working age middle age and famous people. Known people who use social media, it's risky to
cyber bullying.
Data from the Department of mental health, said surveys of the prevalence and factors related to bullying
on cyberspace. A high school student in the class 1-3 (in 14 countries around the world), almost 80% of
Thailand found that children have experienced Cyber bullying in real life by 66% was persecute for at least
once a week, and another 12% was persecute every day. 45%, while thailand experienced children about
bullying, drought cyber security at least 1 times, which is the United States and European countries over
statistics, Japan up to 4 times!.
Although social media to identify the age of the users of 13 years, according to the child and adolescent
psychiatric association of thailand set. He had children under the age specified amount of cheating himself
just to sign up for social media, which are children under 13 years old should not use these social media.
The risk to get more dangerous. It's not in his control or skills to protect themselves from bullying them, and
may be a victim Finally Cyber bullying.
It can cause shame damaging to the victim, unfolding with the clip, pretending someone else's identity,
backmail, trickery, creating a group on social attacks in particular.
It also result in 1.have depression or anxiety, 2.introverted, rarely speak, but the day playing phone or
tablet, 3.some people may use drugs, 4.self-harm or attempt suicide, 5.if a child may have symptoms of not
wanting to go to school, or truancy or may, pretends to leave school.

It’s time to make changes in the way we tackle the problem which, perhaps, it may be to aggressively acts
illegal. Ethics, including violation of the privacy rights of others. Therefore we would like you, a leader of
Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, to take social bullying issue seriously. Here are our
recommendations:
Immediate measures
1. The authority should has law against bullying, online bullying very seriously.
2. The authority must forcing each school must have a policy against bullying online.
Long term measures
1. School, Family, Community promoting learning cyber Bullying and exchange experience, understand
and realize the importance of the problem, and the right way to solve the problem.
2. Parents should establish good relationships with their children, so that the child can trust enough to tell
all the stories in his life. When there is a problem what would have dared ask questions with us.
3. Don't bully anyone on the internet, even if you post complaints or hurt anyone on the internet, you should
not do so.
