I. Standard available functions and features

SITES
• Possibility create site with type INTERNAL or EXTERNAL (also both depends on contract )
• Each site may be divided into logical parts in hierarchical structure -> Server/sections/Ad position

Statistical reports for sites:


– Online statistics = impressions, clicks, CTR
– Detailed statistics = impressions, clicks, CTR, count of IP addresses, count of UU, domains,
regions, hours, days, browsers, operating systems, states, display resolution, cookies
– Keywords statistics = frequency searched words

For sites are available these reports:


– Campaigns on the site
– Agency campaigns on the site
– Allocated ad space on the site

For sites are available these alerts:


– Send by email underperformance warning if difference is more than X %
– Send by email if attendance change more than X %
– Send by email if default banners are displayed more often than X %
– Send by email daily statistics
– Send by email weekly statistics
– Send by email monthly statistics

• Default banners may be defined for each ad position separately or for logical parts as a whole.
Default banners are displayed in situations, when there is no commercial campaign available.
• History data import for site
• Estimated impressions adjustment – you can setup when you expect fitfully growing visit rate
• Setup users profiles

• Create and edit channel (group of servers or parts of servers into the logical part – channel)

• Create and edit campaign including plans of campaigns

Actions in the campaign


– Internal action – can measure any action within the scope of displayed banner
– External action – can measure any action within scope of www page

For campaigns are available these statistics:


– Online statistics = impressions, clicks, CTR
– Detailed statistics = impressions, clicks, CTR, count of IP addresses, count of UU, capping,
unique clicks, domains, regions, hours, days, browsers, operating systems, states, display
resolution, cookies, actions, ...
– Unique users overlaps

For campaigns are available these reports:


– Send email on campaign start
– Send email on campaign end
– Send by email underperformance warning for campaign if difference is more than X %
– Send by email CTR warning for banner if is less than X %
– Send by email daily statistics
– Send by email weekly statistics
– Send by email monthly statistics
– Send by email whole campaign statistics

Campaign can target by:


– Hours and days
– Regions
– States
– Frequency for unique visitor
– IP addresses

– URL address (depending on what is contained in the URL address by reagular expressions)

– Concrete visitor, who seen/haven‘t seen campaign or part of campaigns…or gone to the
concrete part of site (example: system will show banners for people who, visited homepage
of site XY)
– Concrete visitor, who made concrete action
– Type of user connection (adsl, wifi, mobile, dial-up, etc.)

Campaign can be planned or terminated by:


– Number of impressions (can plan for each day separately)
– Time schedule
– Achieved numbers of unique users (visitors)
– Achieved numbers of IP addresses
– Achieved numbers of clicks
– Achieved numbers of actions (internal or external)

Banners can be displayed in campaign by:


– Proportional settings
– Sequence setting (banners are displayed in specific order)

 Sequence setting for the campaign plan


 Sequence setting for the whole campaign

– Surround Ad – banners are displayed at same time over more ad positions in one page
(interesting graphic visual or exclusivity for one advertiser)
– Time schedule for different setting of displayed banners

Other available functions for campaign:


– Setup of primary and secondary limit, which mean when will campaign terminated
– Primary limit can be automatically optimize to perform plan in the setting time
– Automatically prolong campaign if primary limit is not executed
– Product category collision report (list of campaigns which promote the same category
product in the same time)
– Happy user – show banners to client preferentially

– Tags – The tags serves for the description of your subject for example: promo campaign, click
campaign etc. The same tag can be used for more subjects or one subject can be used for
more tags. You can report subjects by the tags in the reports.
– Competitor exclusion support – competitive campaigns should not be displayed together in
one page
– Two levels capping – can setup capping (how many ads will be displayed for one unique
user/visitor) for the whole campaign and for the campaign plans
 Example: Banners will be displayed for one visitor 20 times per month, but no
more times than 3 times per day
– Advanced filter for campaigns – quick find for campaign by parameters
– Generate external code (HTML code = Tag), sending by email + URL address for measure of
clicks
– Optimization of non-impression campaigns where goal is clicks, unique users etc. (BB Ad
Server analyzes the ongoing campaign and automatically adjusts the impressions level to
achieve this goal. Campaign can be automatically prolonged until the goal is reached.)

• Systems is working with real users (not with cookies) in the real time

• Actions are counts not only by means of cookies

EXTRA queue for default banners


• Default banners may be defined in two queues and may be defined ration between its (one
queue should be for clients banners and the second should be for media representative)

AGENTING
• Direct connection between agencies and media ensures the identical results.

AD MONITOR
• Connection to the Ad monitor project – automatically send data from running campaigns to
the Ad Monitor (for Czech and Slovak market)

API (Application Programming Interface)


• Connection into BB AdServer from the 3rd parties system

SALES MODULE
• Definition price list for ad space
• Definition for sales processes (setup agency discounts, bonuses,… and how calculate it)
• Setup taxes
• Mediaplan – useful tool for definition campaigns including prices

• Optimizations to make guarantees for publishers possible (automatically tries to deliver as
