Is a Korea Based MNC, Manufacturing Automotive seat frame parts
for HYUNDAI MOTORS INDIA LTD., Daechang branches established in India
in the year of 2006 & having branches in China, Cechqe & U.S.
Daechang India private limited involves in manufacturing of
automobile seat frame parts. Production will be carried out in different
departments like press shop, weld shop, and Assembly shop with 150
employees. We have the capacity to manufacture 1300 cars per day.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Description
Working as Sr-Engineering Production & Production
Engineering. Stamping, CNC pipe bending, Spot welding, Co2 welding,
Projection are the main process involves to produced automobile seat
frames like FR. Cushion PNL, FR. Seat Back FRM, RR seat cushin, RR Seat
Back FRM Assemblies, etc, for various model of HYUNDAI MOTORS.
Advanced technologies like Robot Co2 welding, CNC Wire bending, CNC
Pipe bending auto Pedestal spot welding, Robot spot welding are adopted

in the weld shop. 150 – 500 ton press Machines in press shop. EOT crane,
Lathe and Milling M/C are equipped in well established Tool

New Plant Development Activities
 Contribute in Layout study, freeze the layout design and plant
construction.
 Involved in the Equipment and Facility requirement plan and
purchase.
 Involved in the Resource arrangement like manpower, Supplier,
Electricity, etc.

New product Development Activity


Products : Seat frames for i10, i20 & Getz cars. Renault Nissan
Project (X02A, M2EL) and New model PBI & PBD
 Involved in Layout study and Layout modification.
 Represented for Production APQP Status report – Drawing Feasibility,
Process, Production Capacity, Machine and tool requirement study
report preparation.
 Error Proofing possibilities and requirement analyzed in PFMA and
provided sensors and stoppers for error proofs.
 Quality inspection and control system incorporated in the Process
flow for the critical process specified by the customer.
 Tryout Process with respect to APQP timing plan is done and based
on the tryout report corrective action taken.
 Lead the CFT team for Machine Installation and Tryout.
 Process parameter validation done to achieve process quality and
prepared Process standards.
 Measured and monitor the project plan vs. actual status, Gap
analysis done and corrective action taken.

 ISAR sample and document submitting to the customer.
 Analyze the quality problem and countermeasure taken in the Trail
production.
Man Power Handling:
 Effectively Handling 150 Team Members.
 Skill analysis will be done on every Team member and competency
record will be maintained.
 Based on the competency record periodic Training on Productivity,
Quality, 3C 5S, Safety & First Aid, Fire Fighting
 Motivating the Team members to involve in suggestions scheme to
implement Kaizen.
Business Targets
 Contribute in preparing annual department business plan. Continues
Measuring and Monitoring of Key performance index. Department
objectives plan vs. actual will be presented to the top management in
the weekly and monthly review meeting.
 Quality targets will be achieved by taking 3D countermeasures by
using 7QC tools, 5-WHY analysis, brainstorming with quality circle,
pokeyoka techniques.
 Productivity target will be achieved by cycle time analysis, line
balancing, semi atomization, elimination of waste of work and fatigue
reduction.
 Preventive and Periodic Maintenance on the Fixture and tools done to
reduce Breakdown time.
 Kaizen project done to improve for productivity, Quality and cost
reduction Purpose.
 Cost reduction will be done by waste (scrap) elimination, utility
monitoring, manpower reduction and improving Productivity.

 3C 5S will be improved by implementing Kanban system, single piece
flow, Lean Manufacturing, just in time method and FIFO systems in
appropriate production areas.
 Safety – trying to achieve zero accident by providing awareness on
PPEs usage and OHSAS implementation.

management system, 3C, 5S and Environment management system.
 Weekly once ON JOB Training (OJT) will be given to all team
members about Quality, Safety, 3C 5S, Production system, Product

plan, Work standard, Check sheets.
