DETAILED PROJECT SUMMARY

1. Aura (Ticketing Application) June 2008- till date

Aura is a suite of hosted applications developed by MMP and sold as SAAS. Aura is
used by cinemas, opera halls and other entertainment companies to sell tickets to customers
through multiple channels.

An e-commerce Business-to-Business (B2B) solution for the distributors of Theatres,

clubs, allowing their customers to order on-line. It allows the customers to search, select and
order products from the assortment provided by Aura-Products and selected co-suppliers. This
solution will be called the Virtual Shopping Window (VSW),

Online module (customer portal) where customers can register, book tickets for
shows and make online payments.

Sales module where front office sales agents can book tickets for registered as well
non registered customers. Can be used by Reseller Agents of the clients as well.

Back office module where clients can setup theatres/ halls, create a seating layout,
add movies/shows, expose a show for reservations / booking, configure payment gateways,
etc.
Product is still under progress, tuning to answer all ticketing requests by making
simple settings.

Aura is not only focused on reservation system but also maintaining a library for various
facilities offered by the Clubs, and reporting its users with more information about the leading
partners and their privileges.

It helps to effectively manage a wide range of functions across enterprise. This gives the
ability to make qualified decisions based on a seamless 360-degree view of business.

Responsibilities:

• Appointed as Team Leader consisting of 3 team members.

• Analyze business requirements Design and Development of sales & online module.

2. Maccs.International 5 months

Files which will be exchanged between the distributors, the exhibitors and MaccsBox.
Supplier creates the file with the data and uploads this file using FTP to a location which will
require a user name and password for access.

Movie Accounting Systems can generate a data file for the recipient. For this purpose,
the recipient has to supply the MaccsBox administrator with the information which file type
should be made available: XML, CSV or TXT and in which encoding: ANSI or UNICODE (UTF-
16LE).
When an exhibitor exploits multiple cinemas then the possibility exists to request that
the data is split per cinema, so that the result will be 1 file per cinema. The data recipient has
to download the generated file using FTP from the FTP-address.

Aura and MaccsBox have to exchange data asynchronous. Consolidation and

Transformation of data from different legacy systems to one centralized repository.

3. MX-Mobile Exchange 6 months

MX platform can be used to send easy, simple and trusted messages via SMS to
targeted audience. MMP’s Mobile Exchange platform will create business opportunities for
enterprises to acquire new customers, generate additional revenues and increase profitability
by effectively advertising their offerings in form of news, alerts, info. services, promos etc.
that gets delivered on a mobile device. All Mob-EX campaigns are focused on building a
qualified, unique and targeted customer database for future re-marketing.

4. TTC 5 months
TTC is web portal for Entertainment Group, where customers can merchandise and choose
tickets, add them to cart, select delivery method and make online payments.

• Sending pdf to the customer, when the payment is confirmed.
• Cancellation of order, when payment is rejected by the payment gateway.
• Used payment gateway (Adyen) for the payments.

5. De-Meenthe 7 months
De-Meenthe is a ticketing application; the aim of the project is to book tickets in
counter and online. De-Meenthe is a java- based application, which follows J2EE specifications.
It contains the following modules:

Admin Module: In this module the administrator have rights to create, update and
delete the sub modules such as show timings, shows, kiosks users, screens and show
categories.

Kiosk Module: This module is designed for the counter sales booking, in which a kiosk
user can Book tickets based on the customer information (I.e. Show timing, show category
and so on), Print tickets with barcode and Generate daily reports.
User Module: This module is designed for online booking, where the registered user
can book the tickets for a show and get the order number through mail.

Responsibilities:
• Involved in developing admin and kiosk module.
• Involved in developing JSP, HTML, validations using JavaScript.
• Writing Classes and Method definitions for the utility classes using Java Servlets.

6. Resnet1.0 8months

Resnet1.0 is a online application that deals with reservation system for the
squash clubs to help their members in booking the Squash halls.

It is a java-based application, which follows J2EE specifications.

This application provides the clubs with
1. Club Module, which helps in maintaining their schedule with their
members and other clients.
2. Admin module, which govern the transactions.

Resnet1.0 is not only focused on reservation system but also maintaining a

library for various facilities offered by the Clubs, and reporting its users with more
information about the leading partners and their privileges.

Responsibility:

• Involved in developing Java Server Pages, HTML, validations using JavaScript.

• Testing, Debugging and Maintenance of the Modules.
• Oracle9i is the database for the project.
• The products were typically developed using Java 2 Enterprise Edition technology,
Including Enterprise Java Beans(EJB), Servlets, Java Server Pages(JSP) and JDBC

7. MEDIPLUS 10 months
MEDIPLUS web application helps MEDIPLUS employees and the in-house doctors to
access the data pertained to the Medical insurance of their customers on-line. It also helps in
keeping track of Medical Files of their customers.
Make appointments on-line with the MEDIPLUS customers. Help In-house doctors to Update
Medical files pertaining to the customers. Help the Management view analysis reports.

Functional Modules of the Application

The Administrator is an Employee of MEDIPLUS who has appropriate access rights. The
Administrator login page allows the Employee to log into the system by entering his
username and password in the respective fields.
The doctor uses the web application in order to access his Agenda. He makes note of the
appointments that are to be attended and also updates his availability for a particular
appointment.

Once a Medical Examination is done, he updates the Medical File for the customer.

Responsibilities:
• Coding Action Classes and servlets for the different module using struts framework.
• Reports developed using Jasper Reports and iReport tools
• Manual Testing.
