GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The GCSDU5000 is a special electronic device for fabric dyeing applications.

It is triggered by a PTFE encapsulated magnet attached to the seam and automatically searches for this during fabric
revolution in order to notify the main controller of the machine about the seam passage “MONITORING” and/or
“STOP” the dyeing machine placing the seams very close to the chamber opening.

The GCSDU5000 can be fitted on most types of fabric dyeing machines, such as Overflow, Jet etc., in Atmospheric or
High Temperature versions. Each chamber has a sensor mounted outside of the dyeing machine near to the chamber
opening, close to where the fabric is passing through.

A series of several additional devices, adaptors and features (e.g. external MONITORING DISPLAY GCSDM5000,
remote controlled ENABLE input) are available for fully customized applications.

SEAM DETECTOR MONITOR TYPE GCSDM5000

It is an optical digital display monitor unit suitable for all seam detector types. It is
an additional (optional) component, placed near to the operator, connected
straight to the SD unit, indicating the stop mode function, the run proccess, every
seam passage, and the seam found by channel number. it is independent of the
dyeing machine's size and specifications

ENABLE INPUT
The GCSDU5000 has a remote “ENABLE” input to suspend the output electric pulses. This feature helps to
ignore monitor pulses that are not true (e.g. in REVERSE DRIVE of the fabric reel).According to the application
the “ENABLE” has a different meaning of use.

LOGIC OUTPUT
The LOGIC OUTPUT is a clone of the the main output, available through a diode. It is used in applications where
multiple GCSDU5000 are installed and a common signal of all is needed.

INPUT SENSITIVITY CALIBRATION

It is very easy to calibrate the GCSDU5000 as the system always balance its input by itself and you only have to define
the range once. Re-calibration is needed only in sensor change
