UNIT- I

Q.1 (a) What are different methods of dimensioning ? State general


rules of dimensioning followed in machine drawing. 10

(b) Draw the conventional as well as actual projection of the

(ii) Splined shaft
(iii) Leaf spring
(iv) Fillet weld

Q.2 (a) What is tolerance ? How dimensional tolerance is shown in
