 On June 5, 1975, a decree was signed for the establishment of the
Arab Swiss Engineering Company "ASEC". ASEC was born with
the objective of introducing the advanced state-of-art know-how
and technology to Egypt, to train the Egyptian specialists to
improve their skills in the cement industry, and to introduce the
new dry process technology that cuts down the energy costs.

ASEC was founded by the late Mr.Omar GUEMEI (1934 - 2004).

In 2004 ASEC Group became a subsidiary of CITADEL Capital

managed by Dr. Ahmed HEIKAL.

The Automation Workshop is the place where the Automation Engineering, Programming,
Testing are fulfilled according to the customer specifications and standards.

20 skilled automation engineers work on different DCS Systems from the complete System
Erection to the complete Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT Tests) in the same conditions as it must
be in the plant.

Our FAT test equipment is able to handle 3000 digital I/Os and 300 analog I/Os simultaneously

In this activity ASA provides a complete service of maintenance corresponding to two types of
contracts:

Long-term contracts: The electrical maintenance is completely under the responsibility of

ASA, the maintenance team works on a shift base and the spare parts are under ASA cost.
ASA is also responsible for preparing, preventive maintenance program activities, and budget
investment for the next years. That kind of contracts are paid by fees per ton.
