The delay is adjustable. The purpose of this delay is to ensure that the valve(32).
n ASTERN position. Delay the timing of starting-air cut-off and extend the period of starting-air supply when changing
to fuel oil-run from starting-air cut-off at the starting of engine.
linder (13). This ensures a good start of the engine. Delay about 1 second.
33 Two-position,Three-way valve
57) for reversing to AHEAD position. Leads pilot signal to valves(26),(27),(292) and (293) when turning gear is disengaged.
40 Two-position,Three-way solenoid valve
57) for reversing to ASTERN position Leads the pre-set pilot signal to (52) during ASTERN running.
41 Switch
HEAD or ASTERN,respectively. Give signal to maneuvering system when the change-over mechanism is in remote control mode.
42 Elect. Governor actuator
Controls the amount of fuel injected.
48 Switch
