Example of use
DEHYPON® LS 531 is a low foaming surfactant intended for domestic, industrial and institutional cleaners. Due
to the end-capped structure, the product is alkali- and acid-stable. DEHYPON® LS 531 is suitable as a low
foaming component for alkaline powder cleaners as well as for liquid formulations based on phosphoric acid.

Possible application fields are:


- bottle cleaning
- automatic dishwashing
- tank / container cleaning
- drum cleaning
- metal degreasing
For these applications DEHYPON® LS 531 offers the following main advantages:
-effective foam reduction in the presence of dirt, lable glues and food residues
-stable in high alkaline media at elevated temperatures
-high wetting power, good cleansing behaviour
-no negative influence on the applicational properties by water hardness

DEHYPON® LS 531 is a low foaming surfactant resistant to alkalis and acids. The product can be used in
combination with anionic and cationic surfactants and is compatible with all other nonionic surfactants like our
Dehydol® and Dehypon® types .
