TWO WITNESSES: REQUIRED FOR A DEATH PENALTY
For millennia, mankind has worshipped falsely, and lived without Yahuah’s Torah. For this, the
Earth will be judged, and all those whose names are not found in the scroll of life will be expunged
from existence - forever - in eternal death. Because the penalty is DEATH, a minimum of two
witnesses is required, as prescribed in Torah at Dt 17:6, 19:15 (2 Torah witnesses), and Mt 26:60.
A witness is a “testimony”, or legal declaration. When we have received Yahusha, the Mediator of
the Covenant to live within us, our hearts and minds are sealed for the day of redemption. We are no
longer under the penalty of death, but walk in a newness of life in Yahusha, the Living Torah, or Liv-
ing Word. Again, we see that it is the disciple whom Yahusha loved that teaches us about a witness:
Rev 19:10: “And I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, ‘See, do not do it! I am
your fellow servant, and of your brothers who possess the witness of Yahusha. Worship
Elohim! For the witness of Yahusha is the Spirit of prophecy.’”
Mat 7:16 “By their fruits you shall know them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs
from thistles?” He then explained that many would be told to depart from Him because they were
led by savage wolves, and lived without His Torah (without law, ANOMIA). A message for the latter
days was prepared for us in the 8th century BCE: Isa 30:8-11: “And go, write it before them on a
tablet, and inscribe it on a scroll, that it is for a latter day, a witness forever: that this is a
rebellious people, lying children, children who refuse to hear the Torah of Yahuah, who say
to the seers, ‘Do not see’, and to the prophets, ‘Do not prophesy to us what is right. Speak to
us what is smooth, prophesy deceits. Turn aside from the Way, swerve from the Path, cause
the Set-apart One of Yisrael to cease from before us.’”
Go into any steeple and see: they teach what is smooth rather than the Torah of Yahuah;
they teach their flocks to turn aside from the Way and swerve from the Path.
Who does Yahuah tell us are His two witnesses, and when to watch for them? Here’s a clue:
Act 1:7,8: “And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father
has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Set-apart Spirit has
come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Yerushalayim, and in all Yahudah and
Shomeron, and to the ends of the Earth.” While the two witnesses perform their duties in the
City of Peace, there will be many more witnesses across the Earth having received power - the
branches, or Natsarim of the two houses. The “Samaritans” (northern 10 tribes of Shomeron), and
Yahudah, will be united in the witness that Yahuah is Elohim, not Allah the moon deity. The
evidence will be when the “enemies” see the two dead bodies raised. (Read Rev chapter 11).
VISIT Joh 15:5-8: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who stays
TORAHZONE.NET in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit. Because without Me
you are able to do naught! If anyone does not stay in Me, he is
thrown away as a branch and dries up. And they gather them
and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you stay in
Me, and My Words stay in you, you shall ask whatever you
wish, and it shall be done for you. In this My Father is es-
teemed, that you bear much fruit, and you shall be My taught
ones.” We are called NATSARIM at Acts 24:5, which is Hebrew for
branches, and also means watchmen. We not only obey His
Covenant, but teach others to obey, thus increasing Israel.
Our fruit is obedience, and shows that we are being delivered be-
cause we have received a love for the Truth, Yahuah’s Torah.

ON MORE THAN ONE LEVEL
HOW TO IDENTIFY THE
TWO WITNESSES
The menorah (lampstand) above represents a tree with branches, and its
light is a metaphor for the Torah (instruction) of Yahuah. A primary symbol
of Yahusha and Israel, this “tree” can only bear good fruit. The message of
the two witnesses in the last days will be world-wide, and occur during the H5707: ED (AYIN-DALETH):
Great Tribulation. These witnesses are trees bearing “good fruit”. The WITNESS, RECORDER

tree used to symbolize Israel in Scripture is the fig tree, but later we read of MARTYR, RECORD
two olive trees due to the Assyrian and Babylonian scattering of Israel’s A “MARTYR” IS A PERSON
two houses (722 BCE, 586 BCE). Israel will one day become one tree, the OR GROUP BEARING
joined houses of “Yahudah” and “Ephraim”, but for now these two houses WITNESS TO TRUTH.

are scattered and separate, which Yahuah says are His “witnesses”. TREE, TIMBER
Yahuah is Elohim, not Allah will be a very bold message when it is proclaimed from the most fought-
over city on Earth, Yerushalayim - the City of Peace. That will be the first of two testimonies. The
second testimony will be that WE are Yahuah’s witnesses.
TWO OLIVE TREES, TWO WITNESSES, LIGHT OF THE WORLD
Zec 4:11-14: “Then I responded and said to him, ‘What are these two olive trees, one at the
right of the menorah and the other at its left?’ And I responded a second time and said to him,
‘What are these two olive branches which empty golden oil from themselves by means of the
two gold pipes?’ And he answered me and said, ‘Do you not know what these are?’ And I said,
‘No, my master.’ And he said, ‘These are the two menorot (literally two lamp-oil sons), who stand
beside the Master of all the Earth.’” (See also Mt. 17:3-4, Rev. 11:3-10). Notice the last sentence in
the above verse was written about 520 BCE, and is found again in Rev. 11, describing the two wit-
nesses:
Rev 11:3,4: “And I shall give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand
two hundred and sixty days, clad in sackcloth (grieving, mourning, humility). These are the two
olive trees and the two lampstands that are standing before the Elohim of the Earth.” Whether
called lampstands, olive trees, or witnesses, all refer to Israel as Torah teachers. Yahusha said He is
the Light of the world, yet also declared that those following Him and observing Torah were the light of
the world:
Mat 5:14-17: “You are the LIGHT of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a
mountain. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines
to all those in the house. Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works
and praise your Father who is in the heavens. Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or
the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete.” Immediately after speaking of being the
light of the world, Yahusha discusses “good works”, and then warns us to not think He came to do
away with the Torah, the Commandments. Notice that the “light” is the Torah:
Pro 6:23: “For the command is a lamp, And the Torah a LIGHT, and reproofs of discipline a way
of life.”
Isa 8:20: “To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is
because they have no light of dawn.”
SECRET OF YAHUAH ENDING
Yahuchanon was told: Rev 10:7: “but in the days of the sounding of the 7th messenger, when
he is about to sound, the secret of Elohim shall also be ended, as He declared to His servants
the prophets.” He was also told (10:11): “And he said to me, ‘You have to prophesy again con-
cerning many peoples and nations and tongues and sovereigns.’” This disciple the world calls
“John” was told he would prophesy again “concerning many”, and he has not yet died. Not only has he
been kept a secret, but the message concerning the scattered northern 10 tribes of Israel being

THE MESSAGE OF ELIYAHU:

awakened in the last days among the nations (and returning to Torah) has been kept a secret.
The secret is now ending, so the 7th messenger is about to sound. The “witnesses” are also the
declarations (10 Commandments), because the housing of the two stone tablets was called the
TENT OF THE WITNESS. The tablets were identical to each other, written on both sides. They
were a testamony to the marriage between Yahuah and the tribes of Israel - one tablet was the
Husband’s, and the other tablet the wife’s (marriage ketuba). These two witnesses bear the record
of the marriage, so one day they will be brought forth as evidence; and it is interesting that the Ark
of the Covenant is mentioned as appearing in the heavens inside the Temple of Elohim in Revela-
tion chapter 11, the same chapter describing the two witnesses:
Rev 11:19 “And the Dwelling Place of Elohim was opened in the heaven, and the Ark of His
Covenant was seen in His Dwelling Place. And there came to be lightnings, and voices, and
thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.” We now understand that the Dwelling Place
(Temple) coming from the heavens is in fact His bride, so she will be re-united to Yahusha, her
redeemer, and the Everlasting Covenant will be seen within our Dwelling Place. The unredeemed
will see the dead raised; and then behold the assembling of immortal Israel into the Dwelling Place:
Rev 11:11,12: “And after the three and a half days a spirit of life from Elohim entered into
them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they
heard a loud voice from the heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up into
the heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.” This is clearly the redemption
(resurrection of the dead) of those that have lived in the Covenant, and it will be followed by the
redemption of those still alive. We will at once acknowledge that Yahusha is our Sovereign, taking
reign of the Earth. A “day” is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day; therefore “three
and a half days” is 3500 years. The Covenant (Torah), the marriage, occurred at Mount Sinai, and
promises were exchanged. The marriage feast is still ahead, and will be 3500 years (3.5 days) after
the “witnesses” were “slain” by the beast system. The Truth has “fallen in the streets”:
Isa 59:14 “And justice is driven back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has fallen
in the street, and integrity is unable to enter.
A common impression among prophecy students is the one-dimensional viewpoint that it will be only
two men prophesying for 3.5 years during the Great Tribulation, and the rest of the qodeshim
(saints) will be “raptured” either at the beginning or the mid-point of the distress. A more broad view
would include all the warnings over the entire 3500 years since Sinai that lead up to the re-gathering
of the scattered tribes on our day of redemption at the coming of Mashiach Yahusha from the heav-
ens, allowing us to join Him in the re-newed Yerushalayim to reign over the Earth for 1000 years.
We will all share in the work as harvesters; some working from the early part of the day, some from
later in the day, and some at the end - yet all receive the same wage, eternal life with Yahusha.
Mankind’s problem over the last 3500 years since the Covenant was given is they are taught they
don’t have to obey it anymore. The two witnesses (as individuals and corporately) have to say:
Jer 11:6 “And Yahuah said to me, Proclaim all these Words in the cities of Yahudah and in
the streets of Yerushalayim, saying, ‘Hear the Words of this Covenant and do them”. Today
we hear the false teachers saying we don’t have to obey the “Jewish Sabbath” day, or use any
particular NAME for the One we worship/serve.
And yet, they teach we had better tithe, to spread their “gospel”.
The true message has always remained the same: “Repent, for the reign of Yahuah draws
near!” Over 1 billion people serve Allah today. Yahuah is about to prove to them He is Elohim.
MOON WORSHIP — COMMON IN ARABIA, CANAAN
“How long will you falter between two opinions?”
(1 Ki 18:21)
The pre-Islamic Allah moon deity and his 3 daughters
Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat have been excavated from
sites in northern Arabia and Canaan. It is apparent
that Allah is not the same as Yahuah, in spite of what
religious or political leaders may say. During the time
of EliYahu, there was a 3.5 year drought.
The activities of the 2 witnesses in Rev 11 seem to
run parallel with what occurred at Mt. Carmel in the
days of EliYahu.
ISRAEL: YAHUAH’S WITNESSES THAT HE IS ELOHIM
Isa 43:9-12: “All the nations shall be assembled, and the peoples be gathered. Who
among them declares this, and show us former events? Let them give their witnesses, to
be declared right; or let them hear and say, ‘It is Truth.’ ‘You are My witnesses,’ declares
Yahuah, ‘And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe Me, and
understand that I am He. Before Me there was no El formed, nor after Me there is none. I,
I am Yahuah, and besides Me there is no savior. I, I have declared and saved, and made
known, and there was no foreign mighty one among you. And you are My witnesses,’
declares Yahuah, ‘that I am El’”.
YAHUAH WILL RAISE THE DEAD BEFORE HIS ENEMIES . . . THEN A SLAUGHTER WILL BEGIN
Yahuah is Elohim, and we are Yahuah’s witnesses; this stands in contrast with the testimony
that “Allah is the one true “god”, and Muhammad is his messenger”. A final contest between the
two witnesses and the prophets of Ba’al and Asherah is about to be held, as in the days of
EliYahu. Billions of people will finally know who Elohim really is.
TEMPORAL PORTAL (Not a vision or resurrection, but a folding of space-time)
The prophet EliYahu’s name means “Yah is El”. When he went up into the “whirlwind”, he
may well have been transported into a worm-hole, or temporal portal (2Ki 2:11); and when our
own time-line reaches the point when he will emerge from it, we will recognize him to be one of
the two witnesses empowered to do many of the same things he did before. From his perspec-
tive, it will be as if no time had passed between his departure in the chariot and his arrival-
point in the Great Distress. The other individual could be Yahuchanon, who was told he would
have to prophesy “again” concerning many people, and was told he would remain ALIVE until
Yahusha returns (Jn 21:19-25, Mt 16:28). At the same time, the entire congregation of Israel
made up of the two olive trees (houses) are also Yahuah’s witnesses, as He declared us to
be. I don’t recommend having only one restricted viewpoint about the two witnesses. Some
have suggested they are Enoch and EliYahu, or Mosheh and EliYahu (who both appeared with
Yahusha in a temporal portal connection at Mt 17). We mustn’t worry about who they are, but
concern ourselves more with allowing Yahusha to use His two olive trees to their fullest extent
in getting the message into the world that Yahuah is Elohim, and to repent and obey His
Torah - the end draws near. This would sound like legalism* to the religiously lawless, and
terrifying to world governments facing the end of their regimes. Being a witness, one must wear
the armor (Is 59:17, Eph 6:14). The “fire” that comes out of our mouths is the sword of the
Spirit, the Word of Yahuah (Torah). It wounds in order to heal, and is our only offensive
weapon. It “tortures” those dwelling upon the Earth (Rev 11:10). Those who believe Torah to
finally be dead in the streets can send “gifts” of false human philosophies to one another with-
out competing with the Truth. They certainly don’t wish to receive any gifts from Yahuah, Who
freely gives to all who ask of Him for gifts (the Spiritual kind, according to His will).
Yahusha told us to beware of “false prophets”, and that we could identify them:
