Read the documentation in the following order. These documents will guide you th
rough the installation process and will walk you through the tools.
Basic steps:
1/ Read the document Arc Hydro Tools 1.3 - Overview.pdf, which provides a genera
l description of the Arc Hydro tools.
2/ Follow the instructions in the document Arc Hydro Tools 1.3 - Tutorial.pdf to
install the tools, and to start using them, beginning with one Digital Elevatio
n Model as input data.
3/ Follow the instructions in the document Arc Hydro GP Tools 1.3 - Tutorial.pdf
, which describes the Arc Hydro geoprocessing environment, to step through the A
rc Hydro Geoprocessing tools in ArcMap or ArcCatalog.
4/ Read the online help to obtain more details about how the tools work. This h
elp is accessible directly in ArcMap by clicking on the help button when running
the tools.
5/ Read the document Comprehensive terrain preprocessing using Arc Hydro tools.p
df for detailed information on possible terrain preprocessing workflows that you
can follow.

Advanced steps:
6/ Read the document Arc Hydro Connectivity Tools 1.3 - Tutorial.pdf for informa
tion on how to add additional connectivity (e.g. structures) to your network.
7/ Read the document SWFWMD - Green and Ampt Analyses Support.pdf for a descript
ion of workflows and functions for performing Green and Ampt computations and ex
porting GIS data to ICPR.
8/ Read the document Local Parameters Configuration to understand how to setup n
ew parameters that can be computed with the function Compute Local Parameters.
9/ Read the document Global Delineation with EDNA Data.pdf to understand the glo
bal delineation function.
