– Vertical -Auto-scan 50Hz – 120Hz Sweep rate depending on
scan rate and resolution.
• High-Voltage: requires of 24KVolts-30KVolts
• Video Driver/Amplifier: Buffered TTL inputs/amplify and drive
to the Cathodes
• System Control: use of microcontroller for interface and
control microprocessor also analyze the input video timing and
select the appropriate scan range and may be restore in non-
volatile memory

Troubleshooting Monitors
• Many servicing shop shy away from
troubleshooting computer monitors because
of the lack of schematics and service
of the lack of schematics and service
documentation.
• When troubleshooting a monitor problem,
When troubleshooting a monitor problem,
remember that monitors rely on the same
type of circuits seen in a television system.
