NB! Note from the cracker:
I have fixed the scores in the game. Every single score
is divided by 10, so now you get 50 points for a B instead of 500
and you get 5000 points for getting all bombs in the right order
etc. This is because experienced players easily could get more
than 1.000.000 points, only to see that the score starts from 0
again. When you, for example, get a B, you score 50 but the
sprite in the play area displays 500, but what the heck...
Don't forget to multiply scores by 10 when you compare with
scores achieved on different versions of Bombjack!
A pause mode is installed in the game, press RUN/STOP to pause
and CTRL to unpause.

Some notes on the trainer:
Starting round is NOT the same as starting level. The
starting round does only control the enemy behaviour, for example
that after level 6, 11 and 16 the enemies are faster. The
starting level option selects what platform constellation (ie.
level) you play on. The default is that the player starts on
level 1, level 17 is the last level, and when it's completed, he
starts on level 3 again. The extra life behaviour trainer
controls how easy it is to get extra lives. The easy option makes
sure that you'll always get an extra life on the "right" levels,
unless you screw it up totally. The rest of the trainers should
be self-explanatory or else you are lame :)
---------------------------------------------------
Hints:
Warning! Possible spoilers ahead!! Don't read until you are
experienced with the game, let's say 30.000 points. (That is,
300.000 on the unmodified version.)
Don't say I didn't warn you...
-----------------------------------------------------
HINTS
How the extra lives behave in the game
On every 4th level you have the possibility of getting an extra
life. That is, on levels 4, 8, 12, 16, 19, 23 etc (not level 20,
because level 4 appears again on round 19). To collect it, get 6
bombs ONLY, wait for the B and collect is, then wait for the E
and collect it too. It is important that you don't get more than
6 bombs or the extra life won't appear. One of the above
mentioned trainers takes care of this, though.
How to get 2 P's on one level
It is possible to get 2 P's on one level, if you are very careful
and don't get more bombs than necessary. After a B appears, make
sure you don't get any bomb until you have collected the B AND
the "500" sprite is gone from the playing area, because this
sprite is reserved for player goodies (B, P, E) and bombs
collected while the B and the "500" sprite is on-screen will NOT
count towards the next goodie. If you do it the right way, you
will get the second P on the next last bomb on the level, ie. the
last bomb which will yield any extras (the last bomb will of
course trigger level completion). This way you could make a lot
of points, of course having 4x bonus too.... Of course it's
possible to collect bombs while the P is active, this doesn't
destroy anything. It doesn't even hurt to get the 2nd P while
the first one still is active :)
In general, how to score many points
On every level (except level 10 and the likes), make sure to have
a certain pattern in which you collect the bombs. On most levels,
you can easily get all the bombs in order, scoring 5000 (50000)
points. It means that you could get an average of 3000-5000
points on each level (assuming that you fail on some levels).
Perfect play will result in around 6000 points on each level (or
more, if you are patient enough to go for all the B's and the 2
P's).
That should be all of my top secret hints for now. See you in the
next crack!
