CIRCLES

Identifying a circle
- we have learnt a point that moves at a constant distant from a fixed point is a
circle
- a circle is a set of point that is equidistant from the fixed point
Circumference of a circle
- the ratio of the circumference to diameter is a constant
- this constant is known as ‘ pi ’ and is represented by the symbol π
