PROJECT PROFILE:

 Project: “Biometric Fingerprint Analyzer” using java, at Adhiyamaan College of

Engineering (Apr-2008).

DESCRIPTION: Biometrics offers new perspectives in high-security applications while

supporting natural, user-friendly and fast authentication. A new key generation and security
mechanism is proposed in this project work. In this method fingerprints are used to generate
the key. The key value is based on DES Algorithm. The system also performs an
authentication checking process.
