Pernyataan Masalah : Nowadays, organizations not only manage people from same race and
culture. The globalization and multi-culture community had created a
workplace with multi culture workers. A new problem for companies
emerged as employees become more diversified and hard to manage.
Basically, this gives companies a new challenge as they are faced with a
diverse cross-cultural workforce that they are not yet familiar with. For
instance, Malay and Chinese or Indian have different beliefs and practices in
terms of completing task or way of working. Thus, a cross-cultural conflict
might arise, which could affect the productivity and culture of the company
as a whole. Malay expatriates might not be able to adapt with the Chinese
or Indian way of working for that matter if they don't have proper training or
knowledge about them. This gives the company a huge responsibility in
making sure that cross-cultural relationship within the company is going well.
Furthermore, productivity and performance might also be affected if their
way of working is not compatible with the objective of the company.
Because of that, some proper strategies need to perform accordingly.

Hipotesis : Based on the research questions the research project works out on the following null
hypotheses:

Hypothesis 1

Ho : Appropriateness of strategic management has no significant effect to the


performance of cross- culture workers of Small and Medium Enterprises in Kelantan,
Malaysia.
H1 : Appropriateness of strategic management has significant effect to the
performance of cross- culture workers of Small and Medium Enterprises in Kelantan,
Malaysia.

Hypothesis 2

. Ho : There is no significant relationship between strategic management and


organisation's progress of Small and Medium Enterprises in Kelantan, Malaysia
H1 : There is no significant relationship between strategic management and
organisation's progress of Small and Medium Enterprises in Kelantan, Malaysia

Jangkaan Hasil : Outcomes 1

From this proposal, the research paper will have five chapters. The First
Chapter will present the background of the study, the objectives, research
problems, methodology, the study's scope and limitation and its significance. In
Chapter 2, literatures pertaining to marketing strategies, risk management,
management programs and consumer satisfaction are discussed. In Chapter 3,
the methodology used for this study is discussed. In Chapter 4, the results of
the conducted survey and interview are presented. And in Chapter 5, the study
summarises the findings and provides conclusion and recommendations.

Outcomes 2

The outcome of this study is limited only to the data gathered from books and
journals about strategic management and business development from the
primary data gathered from the result of the questionnaire survey and
interview conducted by the researcher. The research paper will hopefully
come out with the significant result.

Sumbangan Hasil : This study will be a significant endeavour in understanding the importance of
assessing strategic management in a certain organisation in cross-cultural
perspectives. This study will be helpful to business administrators,
entrepreneurs and management practitioners for this will be a guide for them
when they employ effective approach to their organisation. By examining the
risks and other factors contribute problems to company, they will be able to
design proper strategies.

The study would also give more insight about the proper strategic
management and how the company enables to manage its operations at the
most level for achieving the most effective and efficient level performance,
Next, it is also at the same time will produce more SMEs operation that
contribute to the economic stability and prosperous.
