Select the Report Settings for the specific report, then, click Run Report. Click Help within the
report window for a description of each column.

The following table describes the contents of the NetBackup reports, tape reports, and disk

Client
Displays detailed information on the backups that complete within the specified
Backups
time period.

Lists the problems that the server logged during the specified time period. The
Problems

report
report.
Lists all log entries for the specified time period. This report includes the
information from the Problems report and Media Logs report. This report also
All Log
displays the transfer rate. The transfer rate is useful to determine and predict rates

and backup times for future backups. (The transfer rate does not appear for
multiplexed backups.)
Lists the contents of the media as recorded in the NetBackup image catalog. You
can generate this report for any type of media (including disk) and filter it
according to client, media ID, or path.

Note:
The Images on Media report does not display information for the media that is
used for NetBackup offline, cold catalog backups.
Displays the media errors or the informational messages that are recorded in the
Media Logs

backup headers. This report lists the backup IDs (not each individual file) that are

Tape Contents report appears.
report
Note:
The Tape Contents report does not apply to disk type storage units or NetBackup

storage units or for offline, cold catalog backups of the NetBackup catalogs.

• For information about the backups that are saved to disk storage units, use
the Images on Media report.
Tape Lists • To track the media that is used for offline, cold catalog backups, keep a
report hard copy record.

Or, configure the Administrator’s E-mail Address Global Attribute host

indicates the status of each catalog backup and the media ID that was
used. You can then print the email or save it on a disk other than the one
that contains the catalogs.
Images on Generates a list of images that are expected to be present on the disk storage units,

Storage units configured on 5.x media servers do not display capacity-related
