DAILY LESSON PLAN

Subject: Physics
Class: Form 4
Date: 2nd September 2008
Time: 3.00pm- 3.30pm (30 minutes)
No. of student: 20 students
Learning Area: Forces and Motion
Learning Objective: Analyzing impulse & impulsive forces
Learning Outcomes: At the end of the lesson, a student is able to:
A. Master Content knowledge
a) State that impulsive force as the rate of change of
momentum in a collision or explosion
b) Explain the effect of increasing or decreasing time of impact
on the magnitude of the impulsive force
B. Master Scientific Skills(TSTS)
a) Find the relationship between the impulsive forces and the
changes of momentum by showing a video involving car
crashed
b) Find the relationship between time of impact and impulsive
forces by showing a video
C. Demonstrate Scientific Attitudes & Noble Values
a) Dare to try when giving their opinions about the video shown
b) Being cooperative within the members of group in the
experiment
c) Being confident and independent to give their ideas
Scientific Concepts
- Impulsive force as the rate of change of momentum in a collision or explosion.
- Effect time of impact
a) Increase time of impact will decrease the impulsive forces
b) Decrease time of impact will increase the impulsive force
