THERMOVAC TM 100
Handheld Piezo/Pirani combination gauge
for total pressure measurement.
The temperature compensated hand-
held THERMOVAC TM 100 is equip-
ped with a Piezo/Pirani combination
sensor and capable for total pressure
measurement in the range of 1200 to
5 ·10-4 mbar.
The instrument can also be operated
completely under vacuum conditions,
when using suitable batteries.
The pressure is displayed continuously
over the whole measurement range.
With the integrated memory-function
it is possible to store and display mini-
mum- and maximum pressure.

The internal Pirani sensor applies in the
fine vacuum range, using the thermal
conductivity of gases for the vacuum
measurement. The filament is heated
to a constant temperature in a bridge
circuit. The necessary bridge voltage
is subject to the total pressure measu-
rement.
The measurement signal is gas-
dependent in a pressure range below
