SCHEMES OF THE CORPORATION

• ‘Swavalambana’ Margin Money Loan Scheme
• Subsidy Scheme

In the current process for applying to the above schemes of the

corporation, the Beneficiaries’ information, loan processing and maintaining
database is manually relied either on paper work or files. In the present system,
beneficiaries’ details are traversed physically from office to office.

To overcome all the manual processes we are introducing a new Web

Based Software application entitled as “AUTOMATED”. Here we are using web
based software application to

OBJECTIVES:

The application is developed to meet following objectives

• Computerizing the present system.

• Providing own software for storing and maintaining the records.
• Time saving, reliable, reduces work complexity
• Automatic report generation.

2. Literature survey
2.1 Existing system

In the existing system all the corporation related activities such as providing
different loan, traning and scholarship detail facilities are manually maintained and
beneficiaries’ documents are forwarded through different offices physically so there is
no such system to automate the transactions carried out in the corporation.

In the current system beneficiaries detailed application form are submitted

towards District manager which is maintained in different ledgers in office. The
particular details of beneficiaries’ are then forwarded to board of committee for
the process of selection. The selection process is carried out by different eligibility
certioraris and selected beneficiaries’ details are passed to the District manager
by which the District manager passes the final detailed document to Head Office
where the loan is been sanctioned through checks or direct payments to the
beneficiaries’.

The document of the beneficiaries’ are maintained in form of

physical files which require more human resources and complex processes are to
be carried to generate reports through human interaction.

2.2 Available Solutions and their features

There is no such system available to automate the office activities carried

out in the corporation. At present all the loan, traning and scholarship details are
maintained through different sources like loan book, schlorship books manually.

2.2.1 Drawbacks

• All the data has to be entered into the files manually

• There are chances of losing the files which may lead to data loss
• It may lead to entering duplicate values
• Maintaining and traversing of files manually is time consuming and expensive
• The current system is not reliable and efficient.

3. Problem definition

The problem in the current system is to maintain day to day activities carried
out in the corporation such as keeping track of loan, traning and scholarship
details. Since all these activities are maintained manually. It consumes more time,
huge paper work. While the overall process of sanctioning loan for beneficiaries,
the details has to be passed through different offices leads to time consuming,
requires manpower and expensive process.

3.1 proposed solution and scope :

To overcome the existing problem as mentioned above in the

problem definition, we are introducing new web based software application
entitled as “ “ . for analyzing and to automate the activities involved in the loan
sanctioning process for beneficiaries.

Proposed solution:

The available solution to the above mentioned problem is to

automate the manual process carried out in the KMDC. The required beneficiaries
information like loan, traning and scholarship details travels online through
different offices. The proposed system generates required automated reports by
less human interaction and manpower.

Scope
The scope of this project is to automate the the existing manual process. It
will help the administrators of the KMDC to maintain day to day activities that are
carried out in the corporation.

3.2 Advantages of Proposed Solution

• Provides Database to store information such as loan, traning and

scholarship details.
• Beneficiaries details are processed online.
• Makes working faster and efficient.
• Beneficiaries details can be accessed very easily and quickly.
• Loan repayment details can be accessed easily.
• Proposed system is cost effective as compared to existing manual process.
• It generates required reports with less human interaction.
• Save time and reduces manpower.
• Authentication, Data security and integrity is maintained by providing login
facility. Only authorized users are allowed to access data.
