Ø The focus group consisted of a substantial number of people who had


not tried any other techniques earlier (74%) – it is always easier to learn
something without having to unlearn the previous experiences
Ø On the other hand ,a sizeable percentage of participants (21%) had also
tried other meditative/non-meditative techniques earlier. This gives a
comparative flavor to the Sahaja Yoga experience

enhance mental capability.
Ø In this focus group, primarily 2 types of concerns were expressed:
Ø Physical concerns: Diabetes, Body Aches etc. (29%)
Ø Mental Concerns –Tension, Depression (4%)

On the whole, the curve reflects ‘Satisfaction’ from the Workshop. A large part
of the participants (66%) agree that the Workshop satisfied their expectations
from this Meditation camp.

As mentioned earlier, the group included a sizeable population of people who


already had an exposure to other meditative yogas (21%). The workshop clarified a
number of doubts, primarily from this group and enhanced understanding of
‘Meditation’ as well as the Subtle system inside every human being. This is
supported by the above graph which reflects agreement of 67% people

A sizeable amount of people (66%) were able to feel the rising of life giving,
‘Kundalini’ energy, in the form of cool vibrations on their palms and on top of
their head.

The graph distinctly reflects that Sahaja Yoga Meditation leads to instant
relaxation and slows down the tiring Mental Activity. This result was achieved
despite the fact that the sessions happened at the end of a working day.

The workshop was largely based on Experimentations with self and practical
Guided Meditation sessions. The fact is supported by agreement from most of
the participants (94%)

One of the expectations cited in the Pre-Workshop survey was – Ease of


Practice. A large part of the audience (87%) agreed that Sahaja Yoga Meditation
is an easy and practical technique, which can be practiced regularly.
