1. How do you connect to Client..?(VPN means...how pls explain..)

It depends upon company.It is done through the citrix in some.Actually my client is none
other than the sap itself.But they are the german unit.In my desktop i had a icon for
global access.
i have to click the icon i will get the required screen and i have to point the contry
location.then i will get another new desktop.If i wnt to access that screen then i will be
provided with a new user name and password.But i never used that for connectivity bcos
they will interact with me.
2. How do you login in to your Client Seriver for implementation. ..?(Remote or ......by
desktop)...?
The login can be done by both remote or desktop.
3. Is there different login for different Clients....?
Yes.Obviously.
4. How do you connect to ur development server...?
In SAP Labs first they will activate your user id then you will be automatically provided
rights for the servers.The servers will be present in the SAP logon pad.you have to
choose your server and login using username and password.you can also use single sign
on etc....
But it will ask for access key for development for that you have to register yourself as a
developer in the server provided for registration. you have to copy the registration
number displed in the pop-up box.Within the seconds of registration you will get the
access.
5. How do you implement a new object required by ur Client...and what are all the
proccess up to Production Server....
Development is done id DS,then you have to transport the stuffs for testing in QS.If there
is any constrain then you have to make changes in DS again and then transport to QS and
then test.Then if it is ok the stuffs are transported to production server.Transport are done
by basis are some others.And my work was till transporting to PS.
6. What is the Role played by RFC is SAP Systems...?
RFCs are not only used for external access to SAP systems but also for interconnections
of SAP systems.
7. What are all the initial things done to you while u are put in to the team....?
you can do anything except blinking.... you should not ask how to login and all...you try
if not possible you ask your collegues to help.Nothing wrong in that.
8. How Objects or the tasks are allocated in ur team....?
In SAP Labs there are no specs formats for me they just make a net meeting and tell you
what you should do.
9. What is the role of ur PL, TL and Func.Persons. ...?
I only had project manager and development architect... ..DA is the one who gives me
requirement monitor my work.PM is the person to whom i should report on weekly basis
about my project.
10. How long do you take to complete one object...?What are all the tasks you do while
developing.. .?
In my case it takes one day or two days.Every development is done only through
transaction SE80.you have to save all your stuffs in a separate package.
You must follow some naming conventions. Then as usual coding but your coding must
be simple and logical.
11. Do you directly have interaction with Clients...?
In my project i had direct integration.
12. How Clients are segregated in your Company....?
Im not sure.....but one way is through client number.They have more than that also but im
not sure.
13. What is lifetime of ur project...?
The life time is 6 months but completed in 4 months.
14. How many Functional experts are there in ur team for ur project...?
It depends upon the project requirements that, how many modules are implemented. In
my team I am the only person in my team on technocal side no functional as my project is
product development.
15. Do you test ur object by urself...How. ..?
Yes in some projects we ourself have to do the testing.In my project I have done the
MIT(Module Integration Testing) and also created the test cases and test plans for
(Acceptance Testing).
