RBS 2250 – Configurations

Configurations in one sub-rack


•Each DXU can be configured to support 4, 8 or 12 TRX.
•Both DXUs in one sub-rack support 16 TRXs together.
•Each DXU support only one frequency band, i.e. dual-band requires
two DXUs per sector.

TX at ARP (cabinet border):


Total output power per TX path 49,4dBm +/-1dBm (87W).
⇒ 52,4dBm per sector and freq band (174W)

GSM Max Output power 43dBm (+/-1dBm) (20W)

-Actual power setting depend on configuration


-MCPA limits IM and spurious emissions performance to FCC compliance, not 3GPP
-On 1900MHz instantaneous BW is limited to 40MHz

RX at ARP (cabinet border):


First stage RX filter and LNA near equal to RBS2206 Sens –111,5dBm TCH/FS, TU50
⇒ GSM RX performance (sensitivity, blocking etc.) with TMA
will be as for RBS2206 800/1900.
