PACKING

 Electrodes are first sealed in polythene tubes then packed in cardboard boxes, which are resealed
in polythene tubes. Cardboard boxes are than packed in corrugated cartons, duly sealed.
 Duly packed to yield a shelf life of atleast one year under proper storing conditions.

 Welding area should be well protected and ventilated.
 Also refer to IS: 818 for more safety information.
 If exposed to open air/ stored for longer period/wherever necessary Low Hydrogen Electrodes (LH 16) may
be baked at 300oC for one hour, just prior to use.
