equipment are guaranteed subject to the
following conditions:

- Assembly, extensions, adjustments,

modifications or repairs must be carried put
by technicians authorized by KaVo, and the
completion of the installation must be
reported to KaVo by means of a delivery
record.

must comply with the requirements and
specifications of VDE 0107and VDE 0100.
- The unit must be operated in accordance
with the operating instructions.

B 1.2 Water

The installer must contact the competent

water works before connecting the unit in
order to obtain information on the local water
regulations.

- Water supply pressure between 2.5 and 6.0

bar.
- Water inlet flow: 3,5 l/min
- Free from contamination (drinking water
quality).
- Install a water filter if necessary (50 µm).
- Hardness approx. 6 to 10 dH = 1.074 –
1.790 mmol / l.
- Higher water hardness values may result in
increased calcium deposits. Water hardness
levels above the lower range limit may result
in algae formation.
Flush lines before installation.

B 1.3 Air

- Use a compressor with a dry air system.

- The air supply pressure should be between
5.5 and 7.0 bar.
- Air inlet flow: min. 100 l/min
- The supplied air must be free from
contamination and oil.
- Install an air filter if necessary (50 µm).
- Blow out the lines before installation.

B 1.4 Drain

Observe local waste water regulations.

- Nominal pipe diameter 40 mm.
- Gradient at least 1cm/m.
- Drain outlet flow: 1 liter in 15 seconds

B 1.5 Suction

- Nominal pipe diameter 40mm.

- To avoid poor suction, do not use elbows in
the suction lione. Instead, use only bends

customer beforehand should follow the
“Guidelines for preparing the KaVo products
installation area,”ref. 0.485.1706.

This document contains information on the

positioning and form of tubing and supply
values.

- Covers for above floor connection are not

included in the delivery.

Floor attachment
- Avoid damage to floor heating systems
when drilling!
- Special fasteners must be used for wood
floors, hollow block floors or similar floors.
Such fasteners are not included in the
delivery. The technician is responsible for
mounting the unit correctly using appropriate
fastening materials.
