Build  up  to  the  1st  Day  of  the  Universal  Wave  -­‐  The  seed  of  unity

We  are  being  patient  and  allowing  our  memory  to  resurface  our  ancient  truth.  
 
Today  the  23rd  Feruary  2011  is  13-­‐Reed,  a  day  to  generate  new  energy,  organize  and  take  
charge.  
 
We  who  are  part  of  the  collective  consciousness  have  just  arrived  at  the  completion  day  of  
the  first  13  day  Trecena  wave,  this  aligned  to  the  incoming  cosmic  energy  of  "New  
phenomena  from  the  collective  unconscious  coming  to  the  surface"  we  are  about  to  go  into  
a  13  day  wave  from  seed  to  fruit  on  the  cosmic  tree  of  life  that  will  align  consciousness  to  
"Contact  with  the  inner  core  of  the  earth"  
 
We  have  just  started  the  last  260  day  Tzolkin  before  the  completion  of  the  climb  up  to  the  
top  of  the  9  level  pyramid  of  the  Mayan  calendar,  bringing  us  to  (Stardate)  13-­‐Ahau  (Light)  
which  will  completely  align  us  as  the  collective  unconscious  to  become  conscious  co-­‐creators  
of  our  paradise.  
 
For  the  most  part  we  live  in  an  unconscious  world.  For  those  that  are  becoming  conscious  it  
can  be  difficult  at  times  but  we  must  thank  and  love  these  adversities  because  it  means  that  
you  are  confronting  things  on  an  unconsciously  level  to  birth  your  conscience  into  the  light  
of  your  Creator  "within"  and  thus  becoming  conscious  co-­‐creators  of  harmony  with  all  
Creation  "without".  This  conscious  consciousness  or  awareness  of  being  aware  of  all  
Creation  is  a  gift  that  will  manifest  a  universal  doorway  to  never  yet  felt  vibrations  of  light,  
but  "the  getting  there"  will  bring  the  ultimate  of  challenges  as  you  learn  to  trust  yourself.  
 
As  her  children  we  are  birthing  with  our  Mother  Earth's  final  alignment  to  truth.  This  will  
bring  Mother  Earth  to  be  at  one  with  the  Universe  and  thus  fulfill  her  purpose.  (This  is  
according  to  a  certain  grasp  of  the  prophetic  Mayan  Calendar).  For  her  children  this  shift  will  
continue  to  unfold  this  year,  and  within  this  year  and  next  wewill  learn  to  live  in  complete  
alignment  to  truth.  This  will  unify  our  collective  spirit  to  be  in  alignment  with  our  Mother  
Earth’s  spirit  and  the  infinite  Universe.  
 
It  has  been  our  consciousness’s  following  of  the  irregular  physical  Gregorian  calendar  that  
has  had  a  part  in  taking  us  away  from  a  natural  alignment  to  the  universe.  This  article

According  to  the  Mayan  260  day  Tzolkin  calendar  and  how  this  aligns  and  drives  the  9  level  
Mayan  pyramids  growth,  manifesting  the  (World  Tree  or  Medicine  Wheel)  through  a  360  
day  Tun  calendar,  one  can  see  that  the  Universes  consciousness  is  naturally  evolving  to  unify  
the  heart  and  mind,  which  will  ultimately  allow  for  the  “collective  hu(wo)man”  to  once  again  
feel  and  see  Oneness.  The  Mayan  calendar  maps  the  evolution  of  consciousness  as  a  process  
of  growth  from  seed  to  fruit.  
 
The  seed  to  initiate  the  unity  of  the  heart  and  mind  will  be  gifted  to  the  collective  
consciousness  in  the  1st  day  (18  days  long)  of  the  Universal  wave  on  the  9th  of  March  2011.  
This  seed  will  grow  through  a  process  of  duality  to  completion  by  the  end  of  a  234  day  
period  and  this  will  also  see  the  end  of  all  the  9  levels  of  Mayan  pyramid  of  Creation,  
completing  on  the  28th  October  2011.  The  Universal  wave  will  strongly  resonate  to  
“Oneness”  and  for  this  reason  anything  that  is  not  one  within  itself  will  be  felt  by  itself  as  
separate  until  it  confronts  the  healing  needed.  With  trusting  what  is  needed  to  be  healed  
and  then  confronting  that  healing  process,  we  raise  the  vibration  of  ourselves  and  this  
world.  Our  whole  life  has  grown  through  a  process  of  learning  to  trust  ourselves  and  others.  
It  is  because  of  duality  that  it  can  be  difficult  to  trust  what  to  do  as  sometimes  our  minds  will  
not  be  clear,  but  when  we  think  from  an  intuitive  heart  space  we  connect  our  mind  to  our  
hearts  infinite  knowing  and  we  align  with  the  consciousness  of  truth.  Following  the  daily  
Tzolkin  will  help  our  intuitive  connection.  
 
The  collective  consciousness  is  getting  ever  closer  to  aligning  with  the  heart  of  the  infinite  
universe.  We  are  about  to  meet  our  universal  family.  The  family  of  the  universe  aligns  to  the  
divine  source  of  infinite  love  and  light.  It  is  our  minds  limitations  that  might  not  believe  that  
we  are  more  than  just  physical.  We  are  spirit  and  this  connects  our  consciousness  in  this  3rd  
dimension  to  the  spirit  of  the  infinite  universal  light  of  Oneness.  
 
Metaphorically  speaking,  before  our  plane  (the  collective  consciousness)  gets  to  the  end  of  
the  runway  we  have  to  trust  that  the  thrust  from  the  jet  engines  will  give  enough  energy  for  
it  to  take  off  and  fly.  This  is  where  we  as  the  collective  consciousness  are.  We  are  about  to  
be  given  that  final  thrust  of  concentrated  frequencies  of  dualistic  shifts  from  the  Universal  
wave.  One  might  say  how  will  we  cope  with  this  time  acceleration?  The  answer  lies  in  
connecting  to  your  intuition  and  trusting  with  truth.  
 
What  is  interesting  to  note  for  those  that  are  conscious  of  the  Tzolkin  frequencies  is  that  the  
Tzolkin  is  260  days  in  length  and  the  Universal  wave  is  only  234  days  in  length.  This  basically  
means  that  the  shifts  will  be  faster  than  the  Tzolkin  and  thus  faster  than  we  have  ever  felt.  
We  are  going  to  be  catapulted  into    the  New  Earth  frequencies  of  the  heart  and  this  is  why  it  
can  be  good  to  search  within  the  heart  for    answers.  
 
The  Universal  wave  is  a  thrust  of  concentrated  dualism  that  evolution  is  allowing  for  and  has  
divinely  planned.  It  is  bringing  us  to  a  place  of  trust  as  we  return  to  a  level  on  the  Mayan  
calendar’s  pyramid  which  is  a  unitary  and  transparent  consciousness  with  no  filters.  The  last  
time  we  had  no  filters  affecting  our  consciousness  was  on  the  5th  level  that  started  102000

year  ago  (also  known  as  the  great  cycle  or  long  count),  is  when  we  exited  the  “Garden  of  
Eden”.  It  was  here  in  the  “Garden  of  Eden”  that  the  polarity  was  unitary  (in  the  5th  level),  
and  it  was  a  transparent  and  clear  hearted  consciousness,  when  manmade  laws  were  not  
yet  implemented.  When  consciousness  goes  from  one  level  to  the  next,  it  does  not  mean  
that  consciousness  leaves  the  level  it  climbs  to;  it  means  that  consciousness  is  in  the  fruition

The  polarities  of  dualism  have  shifted  through  each  level  to  affect  the  different  hemispheres  
of  the  global  brain’s  (collective  consciousness).  This  has  all  been  part  of  the  divine  plan  to  
bring  consciousness  to  this  point  in  birthing  Oneness  so  as  to  be  in  alignment  to  the

We  are  now  about  to  enter  the  9th  level,  when  we  will  consciously  have  a  clear  path  open  
up  from  our  ancient  hearts  consciousness  and  this  means  that  for  the  first  time  in  our  reality  
of  human  existence  we  will  have  the  seeds  to  unify  the  heart  and  mind.  This  is  a  profound  
realization  because  now,  as  we  go  through  the  dualistic  shifts  of  seed  to  fruit  and  complete  
the  Universal  wave  together  with  all  the  9  levels  of  the  Mayan  calendars  pyramid  on  the  
28th  October  2011,  we  have  the  ultimate  opportunity  to  welcome  and  align  with  the  cosmic  
forces  of  divine  light.  Each  of  these  dualistic  shifts  known  as  the  7  days  and  6  nights  of  the  
Universal  wave  will  be  18  days  long.  And  these  18  day  shifts  are  20  times  smaller  than  in  the  
level  below  where  the  shifts  are  360  days  in  length.  This  equates  to  the  feeling  of  time  
acceleration.  
 
The  Mayan  calendar  aligns  to  evolutions  natural  order  of  Creations  accelerated  growth  from  
seed  to  fruit.  Why  we  feel  things  speeding  up  is  because  they  are.  What  happens  in  the  12.8  
years  of  the  Galactic  wave  of  consciousness  is  the  same  amount  of  frequency  shifts  but  20  
times  faster  in  the  Universal  wave  which  is  234  days  in  length.  The  Mayan  calendar  brings  
one  to  understand  that  everything  is  arriving  at  a  point  where  one  can  only  speculate  what  
this  will  bring  but  for  me  I  feel  it  will  birth  life  with  an  alignment  to  a  sacred  natural  order  of  
oneness.  I  personally  feel  that  after  the  28th  October  2011  end  date,  we  will  see,  even  in  a  
more  magnified  way,  when  we  are  not  in  our  truth.  
 
As  we  travel  the  void  of  the  Great  Mystery  we  are  realizing  that  things  are  changing  more  
and  more  as  life  aligns  to  never  yet  felt  vibrations.  This  can  be  looked  at  as  a  cosmic  force  
that  is  changing  our  consciousness  and  transforming  it  into  new  ways  that  align  to  divine  
purpose  (which  is  to  be  one  with  the  universe).  Many  of  us  would  rather  have  what  we  knew  
but  the  truth  is  that  we  will  never  go  back  as  we  can  only  go  forwards.  It  can  seem  
challenging  to  accept  this.  Many  feel  stuck  and  unable  to  flow  with  the  natural  cycles  
affecting  consciousness.  Confronting  that  challenge  will  gift  us  thekey  to  unlock  a  new  door.  
 
We  are  learning  to  trust  ourselves  and  learning  that  the  change  is  ever  constantly  guiding  
the  collective  consciousness  towards  Oneness.  We  are  being  patient  and  allowing  our  
memory  to  resurface  our  truth.  We  are  surfing  the  completion  of  a  wave  in  consciousness  
that  has  brought  a  new  vibration  of  harmony  and  balance  within  us.  But  not  without  us  
having  to  see  ourselves  as  being  anything  but  one.  This  consciousness  frequency  is  very  new  
to  our  mind  but  very  old  to  our  ancient  heart.  We  are  re-­‐membering  that  our  essence  is  
multidimensional.  Getting  through  these  various  portals  to  our  original  selves  is  the  
challenge  that  can  be  gifted  to  us  as  we  learn  to  trust  ourselves  and  trust  what  action  to  
take.  Maybe  action’s  of  harmonious,  selfless  ways  of  truth  and  not  having  to  be  noticed.  
 
This  wave  that  has  opened  a  big  door  is  called  the  Galactic  wave  and  is  the  8th  level  that  
started  on  the  5th  of  January  1999.  The  Galactic  wave  resonates  to  spiritualism  which  can  
only  survive  with  truth,  thus  our  ethics  are  being  brought  into  question.  
 
With  trusting  we  raise  the  vibration  of  ourselves  and  this  world.  This  is  done  through  
allowing,  instead  of  thinking  you  need  to  do  something.  But  this  is  also  done  through  
learning  to  trust  what  you  do.  If  we  think  from  the  hearts  truth  we  will  align  to  our  intuition  
which  connects  to  the  infinite  source  that  manifests  unity.  The  Universal  wave  will  teach  us  
that  unity  survives  through  trusting  with  truth,  and  from  here  having  right  action.  “To  gain  
trust  we  have  to  appreciate  each  other.  Trust  with  truth  is  our  supreme  weapon.  For  
winning  the  last  battle  within,  we  must  use  trust  with  truth.  The  ability  we  earn  from  the

We  have  been  feeling  a  buildup  in  frequency  shifts  but  the  new  build  up  is  going  to  spin  us  
around  and  around  and  it  may  seem  like  we  are  being  tested  to  the  max  but  it’s  all  in  
alignment  with  creations  purpose.  Being  in  the  center  and  “trusting  with  truth”  is  the  key.  
What  is  it  that  your  heart  is  telling  you,  as  opposed  to  what  your  mind  wants’?  We  may  need  
to  look  deep  within  ourselves  and  draw  on  the  courage  to  let  go  and  totally  trust  our  
intentions  which  will  guide  our  actions  divinely.  
 
The  Mayan  calendar  is  a  map  of  consciousness  that  allows  one  to  understand  that  life  is  all  
about  cycles  of  life,  death  and  rebirth.  These  cyclical  wave  movements  that  make  up  the  
Mayan  calendar  have  driven  the  transformations  of  life  to  bring  us  to  this  profound  point  in  
time.  We  are  now  about  to  get  off  the  railway  track  that  has  allowed  us  to  buy  into  linear  
concepts  and  will  have  to  learn  to  trust  even  more,  as  we  climb  up  the  stairs  of  the  pyramid  
of  Creation  to  unlock  the  door  with  the  “Golden  Key”.  This  will  lead  us  even  further  into  the  
exciting  adventure  of  the  infinite  universe  where  we  can  discover  our  true  potential.    As  we  
come  closer  to  the  9th  of  March  we  are  seeing  things  for  what  they  divinely  are  and  need  to  
be.  Our  mind  has  not  evolved  to  have  the  final  say;  it  has  evolved  to  channel  the  hearts  truth

disconnection  from  our  truth  within.

From  16TH  January  to  28TH  January  is  Tz’Ikin  (Bird)  –  Men  (Eagle)  
 
On  the  28th  January  2011  we  completed  a  13  day  Trecena  wave  of  the  260  day  Tzolkin  
calendar  called  Men(Eagle).  This  brought  in  the  Eagle  so  that  we  may  see  from  afar  and  gain  
a  broader  view  point,  thus  seeing  new  perspectives.  Eagle  is  Free  Spirited,  Ambitious,  Self  
Confident,  Bringer  of  Faith  and  Knowledge,  Global  Visionary.  According  to  Maya  legend,  the  
sun  was  an  Eagle  and  one  of  the  most  powerful  day  signs.  In  Mesoamerican  myth,  
everything  has  two  aspects  or  faces,  so  the  Eagle  carries  the  symbolism  of  the  moon  as  well  
as  the  sun.  On  the  one  hand  the  young  moon  goddess  represents  budding  and  flowering,  
and  on  the  other  hand,  an  old  moon  goddess  representing  ancient  wisdom.  
 
The  strong  combination  of  spiritual  and  material  change  encourages  us  to  seek  higher  levels  
of  consciousness  and  realize  our  greatest  potential  in  life.  Fly  high  with  your  mind  but  from  
your  ancient  heart.  Scientists  say  that  the  one  thing  that  separates  mankind  from  other  
species  is  that  we  are  creative.  We  don’t  just  spend  our  time  eating,  sleeping  and  mating,  
but  we  find  time  to  spare  to  create  things.  Art  is  what  rises  up  from  the  ordinary.  Even  
cavemen,  desperate  to  survive  in  harsh  climates,  still  found  energy  and  time  to  carve  out  
their  stories  on  cave  walls.  
 
This  is  a  time  that  favors  self-­‐interest.  Rash  decisions  and  actions,  usually  proven  later  to  be  
problematic,  are  often  in  the  news.  Everyone  seems  to  do  a  lot  of  thinking  and  talking  about  
details,  few  see  the  big  picture.  
 
29TH  January  to  10th  February  is  Q’aniel  (Brightness)  –  Lamat  (Venus)  
 
The  13  days  from  29th  Jan  to  10th  Feb  is  Q'aniel  or  Lamat(Rabbit),  south  is  his  direction,  
yellow  is  his  colour,  abundance  and  glory  is  his  fruition.  It  is  the  last  13  days  of  the  260  day  
Tzolkin  count.  Q'an  means  yellow  but  also  signifies  what  we  would  call  golden  like  the  bright  
glow  of  the  four  petals  of  the  "Evening  Primrose".  Q'aniel  is  the  yellow  seed  of  maize  as  well  
as  the  shining  "star"  of  the  planet  Venus.  Venus  appears  in  four  periods,  the  morning  star,  as  
red,  then  as  yellow  when  it  disappears  into  the  path  of  the  sun.  It  is  then  seen  as  the  evening  
star,  as  black  before  disappearing  again,  and  then  seen  as  white.  The  rabbit,  like  Venus,  is  
seen  at  dawn  and  dusk.  Venus  is  said  to  embody  the  four  colours  of  maize  as  well  as  the  four  
corners  of  sky  earth:  red,  yellow,  black  and  white.  Venus  and  maize  where  connected  thru  
the  god  Quetzalcoatl.  This  cultural  hero  gave  maize  to  humanity,  ritual  to  the  priesthood  and  
craft  to  the  artisans.  
 
At  this  time  ask  for  sustenance,  for  water  or  wind  and  always  fertility.  Give  thanks  for  the  
goodness  we  have  been  given.  It  is  a  day  to  look  into  the  movements  of  the  starry  sky  and  
let  us  be  moved  by  the  perfections  and  precision  of  the  universal  movements.  
 
Humanity  has  its  failings  and  imperfections,  but  the  sky  is  not  so  and  it  shines  back  the  truth  
that  the  golden  road  is  within  our  human  understands  of  the  cosmos.  We  are  here  and  gone  
and  then  here  again;  like  maize  and  Venus  we  are  creatures  of  cyclical  births,  lives,  deaths  
and  rebirths.  
 
In  this  Trecena,  the  crest  falls  on  6  Ben  (Reed/Corn),  7  Ix  (Jaguar),  and  8  Men  (Eagle).  The  
energy  of  Reed  focuses  attention  on  our  connection  to  earth  and  heaven.  Jaguar,  the  primal  
jungle  energy,  carries  our  spirit  through  the  underworld  in  our  dreams.  Eagle  energy  flies  our  
spirit  up  to  the  heavens,  gifting  us  with  the  vision  of  our  heart’s  true  desire.  
 
As  we  journey  through  each  day  of  this  Trecena,  utilize  the  energy  of  Rabbit  to  create  
balance  between  physical  pleasures  and  spiritual  divinity  in  order  to  manifest  our  heart’s  
truth.  
 
It  is  the  last  Trecena  in  the  Tzolkin.  It  is  in  a  sense  the  culmination  of  the  whole  journey  
through  the  Tzolkin.  The  Star  is  about  beauty  and  elegance.  When  you  get  used  to  living  with  
a  natural  calendar  it  brings  out  the  best  in  you.  You  become  a  shining  star.  Welcome  to  the  
galaxy!  Enlightenment  is  not  handed  to  us  on  a  plate;  we  have  to  earn  it  the  hard  way,  by  
enduring.  Transcend  is  another  keword  for  the  last  day  of  the  Tzolkin.  
 
To  summarize,  after  going  through  the  whole  process  of  the  Tzolkin,  and  the  last  Trecena,  
the  last  day  teaches  us  that  we  can  transcend  through  a  portal  by  enduring  and  shining  like  a  
star!  
 
This  period  was  said  to  be  ruled  by  the  goddess  Mayahuel,  the  Moon  goddess.  It  is  a  
positive,  productive  period,  a  time  when  the  public  is  moved  or  very  enthusiastic  about  
something.  Popular  heroes  make  the  news.  
 
11th  February  to  23th  February  is  Imox  (Water  Lily)  –  Imix  (Crocodile)  
 
Day  1  of  the  new  260  Day  Tzolkin  starts  on  the  11th  Febuary  2011  with  1  Imix  
 Crocodile/Alligator/Waterlily)  –  Beginning  -­‐  Initiating  new  possibilities  and  concepts  –  
Receptivity  and  Trust,  Earth  Mother,  Nourishment,  Protection,  Primordial  Ocean  of  
Possibilities.  
 
The  Classic  Maya  believed  that  an  earth  monster  or  primordial  Crocodile  floated  in  the  
ocean  of  the  Underworld.  He  carried  the  Earth  on  his  back,  nourishing  and  protecting  all  life.  
Thus,  Crocodile  supplies  humanity  with  the  underlying  primal  feeling  of  our  connection  to  
nature  and  Mother  Earth.  The  glyph  itself  represents  a  Water  Lily,  a  symbol  of  beauty,  
abundance  and  growth,  and  the  possibility  of  ascension  out  of  the  primordial  soup  of  
creation.  
 
Out  of  the  void,  a  spark  of  fire  falls  into  the  primordial  ocean  of  possibilities  and  creation  
spirals  into  life.  
 
With  1  Imix  we  are  starting  a  new  Tzolkin  round  of  260  days  which  ends  on  13  Ahau.  1  Imix  is  
a  logical  place  to  begin  counting  the  days.  The  number  1  and  Imix  both  symbolize  beginning.  
According  to  Kenneth  Johnson  in  Jaguar  Wisdom,  “this  is  an  arbitrary  point  of  origin.  The  
rhythm  of  the  Sacred  Calendar  is  circular;  many  contemporary  Calendar  shamans  insist  that  
it  has  neither  beginning  nor  end.  Nevertheless,  we  will  follow  tradition  and  use  1  Crocodile  
as  a  convenient  beginning’.”  
 
In  this  Trecena,  the  crest  falls  on  6  Cimi  (Transformation/Death),  7  Manik  (Deer/Healing  
Hand)  and  8  Lamat  (Rabbit/Venus).  It  is  interesting  that  transformation,  change  and  new  
beginnings,  falls  on  the  crest  of  the  wave  in  the  Trecena  Crocodile  which  is  the  beginning  of  
the  Tzolkin.  Deer  symbolizes  groundedness  of  the  four-­‐legged  animals  and  the  healing  hand.  
Rabbit  energy  symbolizes  abundance  and  the  pure  joy  of  being  alive.  The  energies  of  this  
crest  propel  us  to  change  in  order  to  heal  and  live  in  abundance.  As  we  journey  through  each  
day  of  this  Trecena,  focus  on  the  energies  of  Crocodile  in  order  to  open  our  hearts.  Crocodile  
offers  emotional,  physical  and  spiritual  security  during  the  vibrational  changes  occurring  
now  on  planet  Earth.  
 
The  Crocodile  represents  birth  and  the  Crocodile  Trecena  gives  birth  to  a  whole  new  run  of  
the  Tzolkin.  Whereas  with  all  the  other  Trecenas,  it  is  a  good  idea  to  contemplate  the  
meaning  of  the  Trecena  throughout  the  13  days,  with  the  Crocodile  Trecena  you  can  spend  
the  13  day  period  contemplating  what  you  can  achieve  for  the  whole  next  260  days.  The  
Mayan  Calendar  is  not  a  passive  calendar.  It  is  user  friendly,  hands  on  system  where  you  get  
more  out  of  it  the  more  you  try  to  adapt  living  to  it.  Each  time  you  live  through  a  spin  of  the  
Tzolkin  consciously,  you  get  a  more  intimate  understanding  of  its  patterns.  During  the  
Crocodile  Trecena  the  agenda  is  birth  and  nurturing.  It  is  time  to  crawl  into  the  dragons  cave  
and  replenish  your  energy.  Once  you  emerge  from  your  cave  you’ll  feel  reborn.  Caves  
represents  the  womb  of  Mother  Earth  and  in  many  mythologies,  the  Crocodile  symbolizes  
the  earth  too.  
 
This  is  a  time  when  people  struggle  for  security.  Nationalism,  schools,  children,  and  family  
issues  are  often  in  the  news.  Creativity  is  enhanced  during  this  period  which  was  ruled  by  
the  creator  god/goddess  of  the  ancient  Mexicans.  
 
24th  February  to  8th  March  is  Ix-­‐Balam  (Jaguar)  –  Ix  (Jaguar)  
 
Preparation  for  (wo)mankind’s  new  shift  into  the  9th  gear  of  accelerated  growth  to  
completion  of  a  divinely  purposeful  universe.  
 
On  day  14  of  the  260  Day  Tzolkin  it  is  the  Gregorian  date  24th  February  2011  and  this  starts  
with  1-­‐Ix  (Jaguar)  –  Nocturnal  Shaman,  Secretive,  Ruling  spirit  of  jungles  and  mountains,  
Guardian  of  earthly  magic,  the  Night  Sun  that  travels  the  underworld  invisible  and  opposite  
the  Day  Sun  of  the  Eagle.  
 
Jaguar  energy  relates  to  the  earthly  primal  spiritual  forces  within  all  living  creatures.  The  
Maya  refer  to  this  energy  as  Itz  or  “dew  from  heaven”  which  connects  cosmic  divinity  with  
the  spark  of  our  own  earthly  divinity.  Jaguar  energy  tunes  our  inner  instincts  with  the  
spiritual  power  of  Itz.  Ix  is  a  day  of  high  magic  -­‐  special  energy  to  change  negative  aspects.  
 
To  the  Maya,  Jaguar’s  spotted  skin  symbolized  the  stars  of  the  Milky  Way  Galaxy.  The  
birthplace  of  First  Father  in  the  mouth  of  Jaguar  was  known  to  the  Quiche  Maya  as  Xibalba  
Be  (shi  bal  ba  bay)  “the  Road  to  the  Underworld.”  The  Sun’s  daily  journey  from  light  to  
darkness  represents  consciousness  and  its  transformation.  The  Nocturnal  Sun  in  the  guise  of  
the  Jaguar  travels  through  the  underworld  revealing  our  subconscious  fears  and  allowing  
them  to  be  transformed.  
 
The  Jaguar  paces  on  the  periphery  of  our  subconscious  protecting  our  inner  temple  listening  
for  unusual  sounds  in  the  night.  Jaguar  energy  underlies  (or  influences)  the  days  of  6  Cauac,  
the  Storm  pouring  out  rain;  7  Ahau,  flowering  in  the  presence  of  rain  and  sun;  and  8  Imix,  
the  life  giving  force  resonating  from  the  Underworld.  Of  special  note  this  Trecena,  Jaguar  
energy  underlies  the  day  of  9  Ik,  a  day  of  change  ruled  by  the  light  of  Quetzalcoatl.  This  crest  
is  very  powerful  for  personal  transformation  as  it  also  ends  the  first  uinal  or  first  day  (20-­‐day  
increments  that  comprise  the  seven  days  and  six  nights  of  the  Tzolkin).  
 
As  we  journey  through  each  day  of  this  Trecena,  utilize  the  energy  of  Jaguar  to  follow  your  
instincts.  Allow  your  feelings  to  guide  your  actions  and  movements.  Jaguar  shows  us  we  no  
longer  need  to  fear  the  jungle  or  the  night.  Jaguar  energy  helps  us  to  face  our  inner  demons  
and  arise  transformed.  
 
The  agenda  for  this  13-­‐day  period  is  enchantment  and  it  is  a  time  for  exploring  the  
extraordinary,  a  time  for  following  the  rabbit  down  the  rabbit  hole.  There  is  more  to  life  
than  meets  the  eye  and  the  Jaguar  is  the  shaman  of  the  Tzolkin.  Mayan  shaman  would  have  
worn  a  Jaguar  pelt  around  them  when  they  held  sacred  ceremonies.  Taking  plants  from  the  
rainforest  that  had  hallucinating  properties,  the  shaman  would  hope  to  become  enchanted  
and  see  into  worlds  otherwise  unseen.  During  these  13  days  you  can  explore  other  worlds  
and  be  a  bit  of  a  shaman  yourself.  Control  over  the  passions  seems  to  be  the  issue  during  
this  period.  Reckless  and  prideful  behaviors  create  problems,  but  psychological  and  technical  
insight  finds  solutions.  
 
9th  March  to  21st  March  is  Deer  (Manik)  Start  of  9th  Level  
 
Start  of  the  Universal  Waves  more  concentrated  frequencies  of  18  days  for  each  of  the  7  
days  and  6  nights  is  13x18  =  234.  This  will  see  the  seed  of  a  new  cosmic  frequency,  possibly  
stronger,  quicker  and  very  different  to  the  Tzolkin  and  this  is  because  the  260  day  Tzolkin  
does  not  fit  into  the  234  day  Universal  Wave.  Evolution  may  shift  away  from  the  dominance  
of  the  Tzolkin.  What  will  drive  consciousness’s  evolution  is  an  even  more  intense  connection  
to  the  heart  of  the  cosmos.  What  exactly  this  will  be,  still  needs  to  be  connected  with  as  we  
live  the  Universal  waves  accelerated  growth.  The  9  day  calendar  count  can  be  considered  
because  the  frequencies  are  changing  and  evolution  has  always  been  about  adapting.  We  
are  now  in  unknown  territory.  
 
Each  day  and  night  is  an  opening  in  consciousness  and  an  application  of  that  opening.  The  
same  like  on  every  level.  One  can  see  on  each  of  the  level  how  consciousness  has  grown  
from  a  seed  to  fruit.  In  light  of  this  one  can  somehow  consciously  prepare  for  the  upcoming  
level.  Our  intention  to  action  on  the  9th  level  is  of  upmost  importance  and  in  the  1st  day  we  
can  feel  what  the  seed  is  and  plant  that  seed  and  in  the  1st  night  we  can  activate  the  seed  to

It  is  very  appropriate  that  Manik  (Deer/Healing  Hand)  is  the  first  13  day  wave.  Kenneth  
Johnson  writes  about  this  Trecena,  from  the  Book  Jaguar  Wizdom

The  last  level  of  the  Mayan  calendar  starts  9th  of  March  with  1-­‐Deer.  We  kick  into  the  9th  
cosmic  gear  that  will  stream  line  our  heart  even  closer  to  the  centre  of  spirit.  Why  I  say  this  
is  because  we  come  from  spirit  and  are  going  ultimately  back  to  spirit.  Thought  which  comes  
from  light  first,  manifests  the  3rd  dimensions  physical  outcome.  Our  whole  journey  has  been  
to  experience  the  physical  universe  so  as  to  become  one  with  it  and  we  are  learning  that  we  
can’t  do  this  without  being  true.  We  may  think  we  are  true  but  on  a  subconscious  level  we  
are  learning  to  become  true.  Our  heart  has  the  answer  because  it  comes  from  the  beginning.  
 
On  day  27  of  the  260  day  Tzolkin  which  is  the  Gregorian  date  9th  March  2011  it  is  1-­‐Manik  
(Deer/Healing  Hand)  -­‐  instinctual,  intuitive,  ritual  dance,  stabilizes  the  four  directions,  
purifies  spirit  to  rise  above  limitations.  
  
Deer  energy  represents  the  aspect  of  spiritual  leadership,  a  day  that  opens  a  portal  for  all  to  
express  the  holiness  and  sanctity  of  life.  Many  shamanic  rituals  were  performed  on  Deer  
Days  giving  thanks  to  the  Ancestors.  Shamans  themselves  were  initiated  on  the  most  sacred  
day  of  all,  8  Deer.  The  Deer  Dance  Festival  was  an  ancient  ritual  dance  performed  annually.  
It  is  still  performed  today  by  many  native  cultures  and  symbolizes  equality  and  balance  
between  man  and  nature,  hunter  and  hunted,  the  sacred  rhythm  of  the  cosmic  dance.  
 
Deer  energy  is  the  silence  of  all  that  has  gone  before  and  all  that  will  happen  in  the  future  
reflected  in  the  eyes  of  the  deer.  The  glyph  itself  shows  a  healing  hand.  One  interpretation  is  
that  the  hand  is  holding  the  spark  of  life,  the  thread  that  connects  our  past  and  future  with  
our  present  moment.  The  energy  of  the  Deer  uplifts  our  spirit  to  rise  above  our  worldly  
limitations.  This  can  be  an  empowering  time  to  speak  freely  about  strongly  held  beliefs  for  
the  good  of  the  community,  family  and/or  self.  This  is  especiallyimportant  at  this  time  
because  of  the  shift  which  Earth  is  presently  experiencing.  No  longer  can  things  remain  the  
same  with  the  same  paradigms  controlling  events.  Now  is  the  time  for  change  and  now  isthe

Life;  7  Ben,  the  pillar  or  World  Tree,  source  of  all  inner  power;  and  8  Ix,  the  Jaguar,  Lord  of  
Darkness,  who  rules  the  Underworld  or  our  shadow  selves,  and  also  the  Lord  of  four-­‐legged  
animals.  The  sacred  protection  and  groundedness  of  Deer  energy  provides  an  opportunity  to  
travel  our  spiritual  path  of  inner  exploration  without  fear.  We  are  then  free  to  express  our  
heart-­‐felt  beliefs  for  the  good  of  humanity.  
 
As  we  journey  through  each  day  of  this  Trecena  (1  Manik,  2  Lamat,  3  Muluc,  4  Oc,  5  Chuen,  6  
Eb,  7  Ben,  8  Ix,  9  Men,  10  Cib,  11  Caban,  12  Etznab,  13  Cauac),  utilize  the  sacred  energy  of  
Deer  to  connect  with  your  spirituality.  This  is  a  great  time  to  perform  ceremony,  ritual  and  
dance  giving  thanks  to  the  Ancestors  for  the  gift  of  life  and  for  the  opportunity  to  live  a  new  
future  on  earth  through  expressions  of  love  and  peace.  
 
The  agenda  for  this  Trecena  is  healing  and  accomplishment.  For  13  days  we  can  try  putting  
our  hands  to  good  use  in  order  to  accomplish  things.  Whether  they  be  healing  hands  or  
hands  on  hearts  or  anything  handy.  Focus  on  what  you  can  achieve  with  your  hands.  If  you  
need  a  hand  don’t  be  shy  about  asking.  In  ancient  times,  when  might  and  power  ruled,  this  
was  said  to  be  a  time  of  peaceful,  even  timid,  behaviors.  Today,  it  appears  that  sensitivity  to  
others,  and  the  equality  of  the  sexes,  are  important  theme.  
 
So  this  is  a  perfect  Trecena  of  13  days  to  start  off  the  Universal  wave.
