Here’s the plan/our schedule!

13th April – 18th April Task 1 : Do drawings, sketches and

(Wed – Mon) measurements for digital presentation and
model-making.

18th April – 20th April Task 2 : Liz and I will compile all info you guys
(Mon – Wed) have given us and compile it into our part of the
digital presentation.

Please help Adnan with the topography because

he needs alotta hands! If you finish your
drawings early, PLEASE HELP HIM. Because
he needs help in making trees and cutting the
land. (No girls in his group so there’s no
feminine touch to the landscape! D: LOL! Please
help. When I can, I will go help him as well.)

20th April – 24th April Task 3 : MODEL-MAKING!

(Wed – Sun) AHHHHHHHH!

TASK 1: PLEASE HAND IN EVERYTHING TO SARAH AHMAD / LIZ-BETH BY;

MONDAY, 18TH APRIL – PREFERABLY BY 12PM.
Please hand it in via scanning (NO PHOTOS OKAY. SCANS ONLY!) and emailing me at rinnydindin@gmail.com
or you can fly to my house and deliver the drawings oso can up to you :P

Here are whart I need from each group of each zones;

1) Drawings and sketches which show;-

- Materials of the exterior of buildings

- Type of buildings
 Architectural styles (Roof styles)
 Cultural influences (The characteristics of the facade and details of whatever is on the façade
that shows the influences of British Colonial times, Malay style etc)
 Historical & Modern buildings – Draw out aged buildings such as the Convent and display the
history of it. If you have new buildings in your zone, show in drawings how it is new (detail
drawing as well?))
 Climate influence – if there are any, draw out (like the chimneys)
2) Buildings which look the same such as the many shop houses, please provide measurements of
HEIGHT, WIDTH, LENGTH which is 1:250 in scale! These measurements are for those from other
groups who will be helping the Architectural form group with model making. We can pass them these
measurements and they can do the many many many shop houses while we can focus on the
historical/bigger buildings.

If your zone only has shop houses, then you and the other helpers can work together to make the
models out. With these measurements, please draw out a façade (with uniform measurements) that the
other helpers can follow so it can all be consistent and the same.

Of course, come up with/use your measurements for ALL buildings (not only shop houses. Shop houses
are for the extra hands that will help the process of model-making FAST!) so that you can prepare for
the model making sessions to come. :D A lot of cut and pasting ahead!
