James J. Hurtak

In 1973, maverick linguist, alleged CIA consultant, occultist and nouveau

Egyptologist, J.J. Hurtak, according to his account, had “lifted up” in a
body of light into a region of stars called Merak and Muscida by the Master
Ophanim Enoch. Enoch, answering a prayerful plea from Hurtak, had
come to deliver a revelatory message outlining the purpose of life on the
Earth plane, and to reveal the contours of a coming confrontation between
the Children of Light and the Fallen Masters of Darkness. Over a period of
two days (Jan 2-3) Enoch "downloaded" into Hurtak a total of 64 keys or
revelations and these became The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of
Enoch. The Book of Knowledge details a premillennial, post-Christian
account that calls on the Children of Light to be genetically recoded for the
energy transformations to come that they may be the vanguard of an ascended Christ
Race,which will complete the evolution of the original Pre-Adamic races.

Hurtak has connections to , among others, Richard Hoaglund (or Hoagland) (structures on the Moon
and Mars, and the Hyperdimensional Hexagon of Saturn) and is cited as an influence byoccultist
writer/videographer, Michael Tsarion in his book “Atlantis, Alien Visitation, and Genetic Manipulation”

Picknett, Lynn and Prince, Clive. The Stargate Conspiracy: The Truth About Extraterrestrial Life and the
Mysteries of Ancient Egypt. New York: Berkley Books, 2001. 425 pages. ISBN 0-425-17658-4 write:

“What do Egyptology, the secrets of the pyramids, remote viewing, Freemasonry, Henry Wallace, NASA
missions that return photographs that look like faces on Mars, New Age groups in California, the
Gorbachev Foundation, Uri Geller, Aleister Crowley, L. Ron Hubbard, Edgar Cayce, ufology, and SRI
International (formerly Stanford Research Institute) have in common? You may be surprised. Some of
the same names run through many of these, and they have connections to U.S. intelligence. That's what

these authors call the "conspiracy." It's all apparently orchestrated by an elite group of elders that go

could amount to the return of the ancient gods [who may have built the pyramids], or -- much more
likely -- merely empty promises and cynically manufactured expectations." (p.331) The truth be known,
at NameBase we're new to all this esoterica. But we know a spook vibe when we feel one, and there are

Now, certainly he does not say that his degrees came from the University of California and the
University of Minnesota... he only says he has degrees, followed by the names of two

universities where he "studied." However, certainly, a reader would assume from this
juxtaposition that his degrees came from those universities.

The fact is that his PhD is in social science and his other PhD in History and Oriental Studies,
were obtained from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico.

Regarding Hurtak's claims to have been at the University of California in 1973, we find the
following.

“. In 1973 while at the University of California, Hurtak came to understand that there was a
connection between the series of linguistic and genetic associations in the spelling of God’s
name in the biblical Hebrew (YHVH). “

The Council of Nine Connection

One New Age channeling cult, above all the rest, has had a huge - very disturbing influence on hundreds
of thousands of devotees worldwide. Known as 'The Nine', its disciples include cutting edge scientists,
multi-millionaire industrialists and leading politicians.

Over 50 years ago, in a private research laboratory in Glen Cove, Maine, a group formed called the
Round Table Foundation, run by a medical doctor named Andrija Puharich (also known as Henry K
Puharich).Set up in 1948 to research the paranormal, among the noted psychics studied at the
Foundation were the famous Irish medium Eileen Garrett and the Dutch clairvoyant Peter Hurkos
(Pieter van de Hirk).Prominent members included the influential philosopher and inventor Arthur M
Young and the socialite Alice Bouverie (née Astor).

In December 1952, Puharich brought into his laboratory an Indian mystic named Dr D G Vinod, who
began to channel The Nine or 'the Nine Principles'. In the months before Vinod returned to India, a
group met regularly to hear The Nine's channelled wisdom. Never known for their modesty, The Nine
proclaimed themselves to be God, stating "God is nobody else than we together, the Nine Principles of
God."

1971, Puharich discovered Uri Geller. At their first meetings in Tel Aviv in 1971, Puharich hypnotised
Geller in an attempt to find out where his abilities came from. As a result, the young Israeli started to
channel 'Spectra' - an entity which claimed to be a conscious super-computer aboard a spaceship.
However, Puharich suggested to him that there might be a connection with the Nine Principles, and
Spectra readily agreed that there was. The Nine claimed that they had programmed Geller with his
powers as a young child.

Geller - by now an international psychic superstar - bowed out in 1973 and has resolutely turned his
back on The Nine ever since. Puharich had to find other channels. He joined up with aristocratic former
racing driver Sir John Whitmore and Florida-based psychic and healer Phyllis Schlemmer. They found a
new channeller - a Daytona cook known to history only by the pseudonym 'Bobby Horne' - who lived to
regret his dealings with The Nine. Driven to the brink of suicide by their constant demands, he too
dropped out of the scene - his despair being dismissed by Whitmore as "signs of instability". After this,
Phyllis Schlemmer was appointed the authorised spokesperson for the entity - known simply as 'Tom' -
who represented The Nine.

Puharich, Whitmore and Schlemmer then set up Lab Nine at Puharich's estate in Ossining, New York.
The Nine's disciples included multi-millionaire businessmen (many hiding behind pseudonyms and
including members of Canada's richest family, the Bronfmans), European nobility, scientists from the
Stanford Research Institute and at least one prominent political figure who was a personal friend of
President Gerald Ford.

Star Trek creator, Gene Roddenberry was part of that circle in 1974 and 1975, and even produced the
screenplay for a movie about The Nine. How much he was influenced by them is unknown, although it is
said that some of their concepts found their way into the early Star Trek movies, and The Next
Generation and Deep Space Nine (what a giveaway!) series.

Another key player in Lab Nine was Dr James J Hurtak, who was appointed Puharich's second-in-
command by The Nine. In fact, Hurtak had been independently channelling The Nine since 1973.
Puharich and Whitmore commissioned British writer Stuart Holroyd to write an account of their
adventures, which appeared in 1977 as Prelude to the Landing on Planet Earth (retitled Briefings for the
Landing on Planet Earth in paperback)

A Fortean Times article reveals that Hurtak was second in command in the Council of Nine.
Note how the mind-control projects of this Council mirror those of Tavistock-Stanford:

Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the history of The Nine is its relationship to the career of
Andrija Puharich. Recent research has revealed Puharich to have a distinctly sinister side. As an
Army doctor in the 1950s, he was deeply involved with the CIA’s notorious MKULTRA mind
control project.

He - together with the infamous Dr Sidney Gottlieb - experimented with a variety of techniques
to change or induce actual thought processes...even to creating the impression of voices in the
head. These techniques included the use of drugs, hypnosis and beaming radio signals directly
into the subject’s brain. And, significantly, he was engaged in this work at exactly the same time
that The Nine made their first appearance at the Round Table Foundation. The Foundation itself
is now known to have been largely funded by the Pentagon as a front for its medical and
parapsychological research. Puharich was still working for the CIA in the early 1970s, when he
brought Uri Geller out of Israel."

In The Book of Knowledge, Hurtak reveals that there are two other groups who
operate with the Fallen Masters, obscuring the possibility of the Christ race evolving
on Earth. These individuals are the orthodox ‘believers’ in the Jewish and Christian
communities, and the secular scholars and intellectuals who annoyingly insist on the
importance of history, context, analysis and fact-finding.

“The Keys themselves were given on January 2/3 1973, to prepare mankind for the activation of events
that are to come to pass in the next thirty years of "earth time." Enoch said this will be seen as the
Brotherhood returning to earth to repair and resurrect humanity. Within this time frameJ the preparing
of the Office of the Christ and the Keys of Enoch are to precede Yahweh's Kingdom - giving sufficient
knowledge for activity in the new worlds as we proceed on in His Name. The Enoch Keys were given
directly to me through the Revelation of the holy scroll of burning Light - seen in Merkabah - in the
threshold space of the higher spiritual Light. They were given to me beyond the confinement of the
earth and the air regions surrounding the earth, so that they would not be contaminated by the fallen
thought-forms of higher intelligence that influence the destructive pathways of humanity. As the Light
geometries were pulsated out of the burning scroll, I was told by Enoch that the Keys were directly given

of the Keys which are presented as they were shown to me with the exact numerical sequences. Enoch
told me the first fifty-four Keys are to be the foundation for the Ten Commandments - the ten final Keys
that will give the grid systems of life and the resurrection and respatialization of the collective humanity
that will proceed into the universal I AM THAT I AM. This is the Divine Unfolding of the Kingdom of Light,
connecting the human evolution and the Higher Evolution in its appointed time. The final ten Keys
however, are to be given as a special scroll after the witnessing of the message of the B'nai Or, the Sons
of Light, has been given to the special scientists and spiritual thinkers of this planet as a testimony of the
Father's Plan being finalized by the Councils of Higher Intelligence. Enoch showed me how the last ten
Keys - the Ten Commandments - were pyramidal grid structures of Light coordinating the dynamic
vibrations, the gravitational vibrations, and the vital cycles according to the Divine Plan of YHWH. The
pictures that were commissioned for the Keys give the picture of the family of "Christ" and the work of

The myths of Metatron are extremely complicated, and at least two separate versions exist. The first
version states he came into being when God created the world, and immediately assumed his many
responsibilities. The second claims that he was first a human named Enoch, a pious, good man who
had ascended to Heaven a few times, and eventually was transformed into a fiery angel. Some later
books adopt the first version, some the second, and in other literature both are combined. There are
even two versions of the name Metatron, one spelled with seven letters, the other with six, lacking
the Hebrew letter "yod." The Kabbalists explained that the six-letter name represents the Enoch-
related Metatron, while the seven-letter name refers to the primordial Metatron. Despite the
elaborate debate, the origin of Metatron's name is not clear. Many attempts have been made to

explain it, but none of them is satisfactory, since the word has no real meaning or root in any
language. Some authors think it may be derived from private meditations and visions, or even
glossolalia. This article concentrates on the Metatron-Enoch version
Metatron is one of the most important angels in the heavenly hierarchy. He is a member of a special
group that is permitted to look at God's countenance, an honor most angels do not share. In the
literature, Metatron is often referred to as "the Prince of the Countenance."
In the Babylonian Talmud, Metatron is mentioned only three times, but the references are important.
All three relate to the problem of Metatron's immense power, which may have caused some people
to confuse him with God.

The Five Bodies:

The Electromagnetic Body: This vehicle body codes your physical body directly into
other consciousness regions of the local universe through the whole array or family of
electromagnetic waves. The E-M vehicle must work with its Christ Overself Body, or a
Master of Light if it is to work with the many electromagnetic spectrums. One must first
illuminate the E-M vehicle with Light before one can cross the threshold of negative
mass.

The Epi-Kinetic Body: The biological plasma used by the energy-vibratory body for
projection and teleportation within a singular dimension. The Epi-Kinetic Body is the
consciousness-vibratory vehicle, which can pass through the common kinetic
paradigms of velocity and mass. Great energies of vibratory protection, inspiration and
balancing of the creative consciousness levels with the unconscious and subconscious
levels can take place through this vehicle of vibratory synthesis, e.g., in a 4-7-8 chakra
arrangement. (In amplification of the Lord, see Daniel 3:19-25)

The Eka Body of many relativities: There exists a substratum of direct current
potentials in the body which precedes the action potentials of biological reality. This is a
Higher Consciousness Body/Body Two substratum which can coordinate the inner
realities of each consciousness vehicle through an interconnecting clock manifold,
whereby consciousness time can be in perfect control of the biological clocksand
common/mundane reality. Enoch calls this the 'Eka Body' which is a collection of many
plus or minus relativities, depending on the nature of the consciousness levels. The
consciousness vehicle used for time travel while sustaining a direct relationship to the
physical vehicle, which is left at some point in biological time. If you know your origin,
you know your destiny for the Eka Body is a vehicle synthesis in 'clearing
consciousness time', e.g., a 7-8-9 chakra configuration allows for the consciousness
vehicle to simultaneously work "in and out of time".

The Gematrian Body: The vehicle of Light synthesis in the body formed by the
Shekinah's "Life force" which controls all the inner relationships of Light. This body

prepares the human vehicle to be connected with the Christ Body Overself. On the
physical plane, it can control the ratio between the plasmic state of living things and
atomic- molecular matter. The Gematrian Body is made of "light geometries" used in
consciousness creation, inspiration, healing, etc., which can mathematically arrange
each of the energy meridians of the human system to make them available to guide and
energize the body.

The Zohar Body: The body vehicle of the" outer Light" that permits the body to go
beyond the light cone of immediate relativity. This body places a bond of light around
the other four bodies of "Incarnation" so that the physical body can distinguish between
the sacred space of "Light", and the profane space of "light". The "coat of many colors",
which is the foundation for the energy form which corresponds with the brilliant and
splendid structure of the "Heavenly Jerusalem". Through the Zohar body, the seventy-
two areas of the mind are balanced off, and the micro-cosmos of the unconscious Man
ascends to Sonship and a place of dwelling within the Father's Throne. (Rev. 7:9-16)
The Zohar body functions in trinity with its Overself Body and the" Anointed" Christ
Overself Body, which receives direct revelation from the Throne Worlds of YHWH.

Shekinah: The "presence of God; the sanctification of the molecular form of the inner
universe by the Holy Spirit.

towards adjusting geometric pressure fluctuations which underlie mechanisms controlling

1. There is at work within all biological systems a path of interchangeability to standardize

unique vibratory levels. Our galactic body of creation controls its renewing functions through

The Divine Mother (Imma in the Hebrew) takes on myriad appearances. She
is seen as the Theotokos, the mother of Jesus in the West and sri lalitambika,
Gentle Mother of the Universe in the East (Sanskrit). Here she appears in the
garment of eternal youth before the pyramids of Egypt as the sign of the higher
triple power of Body-Mind-Spirit unity that overshadows all wonders of the
Earth.

Verse 15 of Key 109 expressly states that "this key is directed to human astrophysics." Throughout the
Key, one examines the various stages of stellar evolution through various historic and contemporary
symbols of astrophysics, from the Sanskrit and Arabic to modern Western models. Within the context of
astrophysical models, Mecca is actually described by Dr. Hurtak as a sacred area showing the function--
namely, beginning of end, of cosmogenesis of 'universes' (plural).

Dr. Hurtak, speaking from an astrophysics standpoint speaks specifically of the Black Cube as
exemplifying the nature of condensed matter which in Islamic tradition is the 'meteorite material'
placed in the Black Cube of Mecca. Key 109 is showing all stages of star birth, death and recreation.
The Black Cube is not referenced as a negative nexus point but rather as a connector with dark matter
and dark energy critical for the original and ongoing expansion of creation. The word 'dark,' relative to
dark energy and dark matter, is not to be associated with dark or darkness in the biblical sense. The
interplay of matter is not to be confused with the higher message of Islam; in fact, the 64 Keys of Enoch®
speak of a divine synthesis where Mecca is mentioned as being the place of the Black Cube showing an
appreciation of this sacred site for the early stages of cosmic evolution and part of the evolutionary
building blocks.

(Dr. James J.) Hurtak refers to a "language of light" and a great priest-scientist of the previous
time cycle, named ENOCH, who is associated with the building of the Great Pyramid complex.
Hurtak alludes to a grand spiritual science, a science which describes a genetic stairway to the

stars. The priest-scientist ENOCH, is a prediluvian patriarch, one of the most famous and
seminal characters of the previous time cycle. Father of Methuselah and great grandfather of
Noah, (?)Enoch is credited in the Bible as architect of the original Zion, the legendary "City of
Yahweh", as well as inventor of the alphabet and calendar. Enoch is also history's first
astronaut, who "is taken aloft by the Lord" and shown "the secrets of earth and heaven". He
returns to earth with the "weights and measures" for all humankind. (?This reference confuses

Known to the Egyptians as THOTH, the "Lord of Magic and Time" and to the Greeks as HERMES,
"messenger of the gods", he is even remembered in the Celtic tradition as the enigmatic wizard
Merlin, who disappears up an apple tree to mythic Avalon, seeking the secret of immortality
and vowing to return. As one who attained immortality, the secret of how we "might become
as gods", Thoth/Enoch promises to return at the end of time "with the keys to the gates of the
sacred land."

In the controversial Dead Sea Scrolls, revealing the lost Books Of Enoch removed from the
Bible by early religious leaders(?The Book of Enoch was NEVER canonized, or even part of
scripture as “apocryphal”), Enoch describes a wondrous civilisation in the past, who misused
the keys of higher knowledge and were unable to save themselves from the last cataclysm.
Both literally and figuratively they lost the "keys", they lost all higher knowledge.Yet, Enoch,
along with many traditions, even the Mayan legend of Quetzacoatal, promises a return of this
knowledge at "The end of time", the end of the present time cycle. (This connects Enoch to the
Mayan calendar cycle terminating in 2012)

Enoch was often equated with Hermes Trismegistus and could well be considered an avatar
of Odin outside the Northern Tradition.

Enochian magic is a system of ceremonial magic based on the evocation and
commanding of various spirits. It is based on the 16th-century writings of Dr. John Dee
and Edward Kelley, who claimed that their information was delivered to them directly by various angels.
Dee's journals contained the Enochian script, and the table of correspondences that goes with it. It
claims to embrace secrets contained within the apocryphal Book of Enoch.

… rediscovery of Enochian magic by Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers of the Hermetic Order of the
Golden Dawn has sparked remarkable publicity for it in modern occultism. Enochian as an operative
system is difficult to reconstruct based upon the Sloane manuscripts, but contemporary occult
organizations have attempted to make it usable. The Golden Dawn was the first, but their knowledge
was based upon only one of Dee's diaries and their planetary, elemental, or zodiacal attributions are
unfounded.

One facet of the rediscovery is Enochian chess, a four-handed variant of the game played in the Golden
Dawn in Mathers' time (recall the four level chess played in “Star Trek”---the series produced by Council
of Nine member, Gene Roddenberry) and revived by Steve Nichols and chess players in the late
twentieth century.

Aleister Crowley, who worked with, and wrote about, Enochian magic extensively. Enochian Magic
forms the backbone of both the Crowley and Golden Dawn systems of Magic. Latest theories include
that John Dee knew of the Slavonic, Book of the Secrets of Enoch, as well as the Ethiopic Book of Enoch.

Many individual workers or very small groups prefer Enochian magic to other forms as the ceremonial
scale required is less than needed for Masonic style ritual work.

Anton LaVey's book The Satanic Bible includes a section of 'Enochian Keys' purported to have been part
of the lost manuscripts of Dr. Dee's, though this has not been verified.

Biblical Revelations promise "all will be revealed" at the end of the present world. The

Modern research confirms, the most ancient form Hebrew to be a natural language, the
alphabetic forms emerging from the phosphene flare patterns of the brain. The same shapes, in
fact, born of a spinning vortex. It is a true language of light, coursing through our very nervous
system. Encoding the natural waveform geometries of the physical world, Hiburu is a harmonic
language, mimicking the waveform properties of light.

The "keys" Enoch speaks of, turn out to be sound keys, keys to be vibratory matrix of reality
itself, the mythic "Power of the World". The Enochian knowledge describes sonic equations,
encoded within the ancient mantras and god names, capable of directly affect the nervous
system and producing profound effect of healing and higher consciousness states. As the
ancient texts declare, "If you would speak with the gods you must first learn the language of
the gods."

DNA, the ancient cabalistic "Tree Of Life" portrayed in the Biblical Torah, is now coming to be
viewed as a live vibrating structure, rather than a fixed tape recording. Many modern
scientists, regard DNA as a shimmering, waveform configuration, able to be modified by light,
radiation, magnetic fields or sonic pulses. The legacy of Thoth/Enoch suggests this "language of
Light", the harmonic science of the ancients, could actually affect DNA. The evidence in Egypt,

The Egyptians were not fixated on the afterlife, as thought by early Christian translators but,
focused on creating a higher type of human.(the doctrines of eugenics) Along with many
ancient cultures, they believed DNA came from the stars and was destined to return. The
knowledge of Thoth/Enoch implies humans are meant to evolve beyond our present terrestrial
form, as the Bible tells us, "we may become greater than angels”. .(misquote of scripture,
Hebrews 2:9, Psalm 8:5)The Egyptians record stories of the "Star Walkers", occasional
individuals who, like Enoch, travelled "beyond the Great Eye of Orion" and returned, to walk
like gods amongst men.
