Telenor Pakistan is 100% owned by Telenor ASA and adds on to its operations in Asia

together with Thailand, Malaysia and Bangladesh. Telenor acquired the license for providing
GSM services in Pakistan in April 2004, and had launched its services commercially.
Telenor’s investment in Pakistan is the single largest direct European investment in
Pakistan.

By the end of July 2008, the total subscribers of Telenor exceeded 18 million, with a market

or credit card, chance to make financial transaction with touch of a button. This is most
innovative service by any mobile operator of Pakistan to send/receive money, pay your bills
without a bank account. With more than 15000 distribution points across the country
Telenor is offering transactions of cash, utility bills payment, mobile account under one roof.
Easypaisa business is booming and number of subscribers is on the rise. Thousands of

their home. Mobile phone banking popularity is on the rise in Pakistan but some media

2009 partnered with Tameer Micro Finance Bank. It was started with 2000 distribution
points and now it is reported that more than 15000 retail outlets (including Telenor Sales
and Service Center and Telenor Franchise) are in place for Easypaisa services 24 hours, 7
days a week (even in holidays) all over Pakistan. Easypaisa is branchless, accountless and
dont need telenor subsciber number to initiate the transaction. You will recieve an SMS on
each transaction.

Pay wi-tribe bills through Easypaisa

Telenor Easypaisa is going equal to the customer satisfaction since its launch. Now
Easypaisa making smiles on the faces of wi-tribe users through its bill payment facility. Any
user of wi-tribe having Easypaisa account, or visiting Easypaisa shop, Telenor Franchise,
Telenor Sales and Service centre or any branch of Tameer Bank all over Pakistan can pay
their bill.

Telenor Easypaisa a branch less banking service now also present their website in urdu
Pakistan’s national language. Most of the links will be the same as in english. Telenor said,

its services on the mobile phone which include money withdrawing, deposit, transfer, mobile
cards and bill payments, electricity gas telephone bill payments, Web-portal access, SMS
services, Wap services, UBL branch support etc.
