 Rugby: rugby pitch.
A rugby pitch is rectangular, and should not exceed 100 m long and 70
wide. The lateral lines (called "touch lines") of the field are not part of
this. Following each of the smaller sides of the rectangle is a mark area (or test),
called "in-goal, with a length of between 10 and 22 m. Between the field and
mark these areas is a continuous line, called "goal line" (brand or goal), which is
part of the past and are located in the center of the goal posts. These uprights are
separated by a distance of 5.6 m and 3m high attached to a crossbar. The height
of the posts depends on the taste of the local computer, but in any case must
exceed 3.4 meters. The entire playing field and goal areas is called the area of
play. " The playing area, the lines not included in it (the touch lines and the
sidelines and end to restrictions on the in-goal, called lines touch in-goal and
dead ball lines respectively), and a perimeter area of 5 m wide around the
previous set, is called "playing field."
In the middle of the field, parallel to the goal lines, lies a continuum called "mid-
court line." In the center of this, a perpendicular line marks the center of the
field. A 10 m on each side of the mid-field, there is a dashed line parallel, which
is used as a reference for the exits, and the ball must pass the line to be
considered in play. On each side there is another continuum between the two
side lines, parallel to the goal line and 22 m of this towards the middle. The
space delimited by this line and the goal (excluding this one) is called the 22
". Between the two side lines, 5 m from the goal line and parallel to this there are
dashed lines. Finally, there are between the above dotted lines, parallel to the
sidelines, at 5 and 15 m of these. These lines show the limits for the position
player most advanced and delayed throw-ins.
 Basketball: basketball court.
A basketball court has to be a hard, flat, rectangular and free of obstacles, with
15 m wide and 28 m in length.
The perimeter of the track must be free of obstacles two meters away.
The height of the first obstacle that is vertically above the track must be at least
7 m in height.
The field is divided into two equal halves, separated by the midfield line labeled
with a circle starting at the center of the track, the center circle measures 3.6 m
diameter. For each team, the midfield that contains the basket that is advocated
is called defensive midfield and midfield containing the basket that is to write is
called attacking midfield.
In the shorter sides are placed the rings that are 3.05 m and 1.20 m are
introduced within the rectangle of the game, they must be equipped with
approved overhead.
Parallel to the bottom line we find the free throw line, which is 5.80 m from the
baseline and 4.60 m from the basket. The circle where the free throw line has a
diameter of 3.6 m. All lines are 5 cm. wide.
The three-point line is located at 6.75 m (FIBA) and 7.24 m (NBA) away from
the basket
 Golf: golf area.
Golf is played on a field or natural grass court outdoors. Unlike many sports,
golf does not have a standard pitch. A golf course occupies a large area and is
generally composed of 9 or 18 partial paths, which is why some golfers, instead
of walking, motorized carts are in comfortable, energy saving. At the end of
each of these routes there is a hole in the surface where it is to get the ball with
as few strokes as possible, by extension, each of the courses is also known as
partial hole. The traversal order of the holes on the court gives its name to each:
Hole 1, Hole 2, etc. to the hole 9 or No. 18 as appropriate. In some areas of golf,
the holes are given other names memorials, commercial, or taken from some of
its features: its difficulty, its design, names and flowers.
 Table tennis: table tennis. The playing area must measure at least 14
m long, 7 m wide and 75.743 inches tall.
The playing area must be enclosed by fences about 75 cm high, all the
same dark background color, which separated from adjacent areas and from
spectators.
In competitions for the World and Olympic title the light intensity measured
at the height of the playing surface must be a minimum of 1,000 lux uniformly
over the whole of the playing surface and a minimum of 500 lux in the rest of
the playing area, in other competitions, the intensity will be at least 600
lux uniformly over the playing surface and at least 400 lux in the rest of
the playing area.
 Skiing: skiing area.
It is practiced in an open area.
 Soccer: soccer pitch.
Football is played on natural turf or artificial rectangular. The measures allowed
the ground are 90 to 120 meters long and 45 to 90 meters wide, but international
matches the following measures are recommended: 100 to 110 meters long and
between 64 and 75 meters wide. The two lines located along the field lines are
called side or band, while other lines are called goal or end. The midpoints of
each side line are joined by another line, the midline.
On the center of each goal line and deep into the ground, criminal areas are
located, the areas of goal and the targets or goals. Calls goals, also known as
goals or arcs, consisting of two upright posts (known as bats or vertical) of 2.44
meters high located to 7.32 meters apart and the center of each goal line. The
tops of the posts are joined by another horizontal pole, known as crossbar or
crossbar.
Criminal areas are rectangular areas located in the center of the goals and deeper
into the ground. These are plotted to 16.5 meters of vertical poles, penetrating
also 16.5 meters into the ground, and then joining the other major line. The
layout of the target area is the same but using a measure of 5.5 meters.
 Volleyball: volleyball court.
The field where they play volleyball is a rectangle 18 m long by 9 feet wide,
divided in the center line of a network that separates the two teams. In reality the
game is also on the outside, in the free zone, provided that the ball does not
touch ground or any other element. The free zone must be at least 3 m, at least in
international competitions is increased to 5 m on the sidelines and 8 m for
baselines. The free space on the track must have a minimum height of 7 m in
international competitions up to 12.5 m.
A 3 m of the network, a line in each field defines the area of attack, are restricted
zone where the actions of the players who are currently in defensive roles (backs
and sweeper). These lines extend outside the field with broken lines, and
limiting projects also represent the whole line, even beyond the lines drawn. All
lines are 5 cm wide.
The players contact with the ground is continuous, usually using joint
protection. The surface cannot be rough or slippery.
 Long tennis: tennis court.
Tennis is played on a rectangular track. Its exact dimensions are defined in units
of the Anglo-Saxon and vary depending on the mode in which they play (singles
and doubles). For individuals are 78 feet (23.77 meters) long and 27 feet (8.23
meters) wide. To double the length is the same and the width is 36 feet (10.97
meters). These limits are marked by lines, which are considered part of the
course. Form a mesh network divides the court into two halves, in which
opponents are divided. The net height at the poles is 3 feet 6 inches (1.06
meters), and in the middle of 3 feet (0.914 meters). On each side of the network
there are two rectangles, measuring 21 feet (6.40 meters) long and 13.5 feet
(4.11 meters) wide, which serve only to determine whether a serve is valid or
not.
