2. Click the highlighted triangle to expand the navigation structure for audit management.

3. Two transactions are available in this audit management solution: The transaction audit management and the
transaction audit monitor. Double-click the highlighted field to start the audit management transaction.
4. You use this transaction for the processing of all audit components. Click the highlighted field to enter the
context menu for creating new audit components.

In the right frame you can see an overview documentation that will help you perfom your first steps in the transaction.
In the upper part of the left frame, all audit objects which are currently being processed are listed.
In the lower part of this frame, you can find templates and your personal worklist.
5. Select the entry "Question List" to have the system create a new question list.
6. In the left frame an icon is displayed, indicating that you are processing a question list. Each audit component is
displayed with a unique icon. Type "vc question list" and press Enter.
7. Type "Question list for VC demo" and press Enter.
8. Click the highlighted field to access the F4 help for the hierarchy profile.

In a hierarchy profile you define the structure of the qeustion list. That means that you define the number and the identification of the
levels used in the question list. You can define your own hierarchy profiles in Customizing.
9. Select the hierarchy profile "Element - Question" to define that the question list is to include a hierarchy level for
elements and a second level for questions.
10. In addition to the hierarchy profile, you can enter a validity date and search criteria on this tab page. The
search criteria help you if you want to search for a particular audit component. Click the highlighted field to display
the "Valuation Specs" tab page.
11. On the tab "Valuation Specification", you can choose a valuation profile. A valuation profile includes a set of
valuations that can be used when processing an audit. You can define your own valuation profiles in Customizing.
Click the highlighted field to access the F4 help for the valuation profile.

When you choose a valuation profile, a valuation proposal is displayed, (provided you previously defined this in Customizing). This is
only a proposal. Therefore, you can change this valuation proposal. You only have to select the correct valuation proposal using the F4
help. This valuation proposal is used to simplify the valuation during the audit.
12. Select the valuation profile "Verification of QM System".
13. Click the highlighted field to access the F4 help for the valuation proposal.
14. Select the valuation proposal "Complete, Effectively Proven".
15. Click the highlighted field to display the "Contact Person" tab page.
16. Type "ganter" and press Enter to select the business partner who shall approve the question list. The business
partner must exist in the system. If this person does not exist, you can create a new business partner from here.
17. Type "pravez" and press Enter to select the business partner who is responsible for the question list.
18. Click the highlighted field to display the "Basic Data" tab page.
19. Click the highlighted button to save your question list.
20. Ok, the next thing I want to show you is how to import a question list that was created using MSExcel. Click the
forward button of your iTutor player to proceed to the next step of this tutorial and to display that question list.
21. Here you can see the question list that was created in Excel. To use this data you have to save the table in xml
format and import this data into the audit management system. Click the highlighted button to export the question
list as an xml file.
22. As you can see here, the question list was converted from xls format into xml format. Click the ok button to
proceed.
23. The xml file was saved successfully. Now you can import the question list into your audit management system.
So, click the highlighted ok button and we will return to the audit management system.
24. Now we are back in the audit management system. Click the highlighted field to display the menu.
25. Click the highlighted field to import the question list.
26. Click the highlighted button to start the import from xml.
27. Double-click to select the question list.
28. After the file was successfully imported, a message was generated. Click the highlighted button to display the
log for the import. On the bottom of the screen you can view the log and see that the import was completed
successfully.
29. Click the highlighted button to expand the structure of the question list.
30. As you can see here, the question list includes two hierarchy levels as we previously defined. Click the
highlighted field to display the question.
31. You see that the question includes a unique key, a description, and an external item. Click the highlighted
button to save your data.
32. Click the highlighted field to display the "Texts" tab page.
33. Here you can see the long text of the question. This information was also imported form the Excel sheet. You
can create a note to provide additional information, if necessary. Click the highlighted field to display the
"Valuation Specs" tab page.
34. You can see that the valuation profile and the valuation proposal have been copied from the question list
header. But you can change this data if you want to. Click the highlighted field to display the "Admin Data" tab
page.
35. The tab page "Admin Data" includes administrative data, for example the person who created or changed the
audit component. We will talk about the "Link" field later. Click the right mouse button to activate the context menu
to create a new question.
36. Click the highlighted field to activate the submenu.
37. Click the highlighted field to create a new question.
38. Type "vc new question 1.3.4" and press Enter.
39. Type "Specification used?" and press Enter.
40. Check the "Valuation Specs" tab page to verify that the valuation profile and the valuation proposal were
copied from the question list header. Click the highlighted field to display the "Valuation Specs" tab page.
41. You can see that the valuation profile and the valuation proposal have been copied from the question list by
default. To change this proposal click the highlighted field to access the F4 help for the proposal values.
42. Click the highlighted field to choose the valuation proposal "Unvaluated".
43. Now we want to release the question list. To do so, we display the question list header. Click the highlighted
field to display the question list header.
44. Click the highlighted field to display the "Status" tab page.
45. Click the highlighted field to access the F4 help for the status.
46. Click the highlighted entry to release the question list.
47. There is one feature left that I want to show you - the question list overview. Click the highlighted button to
display the overview of the question list.
48. Click the highlighted button to turn the structure tree off and to display the overview of the question list in the
full screen mode.
49. Now you can see the list of all questions that are included in the question list. You can change the layout of
this list. Click the highlighted button to display the print preview of the question list.
50. Here you can see the header for the question list. You can scroll down to display more details of this question
list. Click the highlighted button to scroll down the question list to display a question.
51. Here you can see the external item, the short text, the long text for a question, and the ID. Click the highlighted
button to save your data.
