Preface

“Reading a book means traveling entire world without moving an inch.”

India is one of the great producers of Potato and its processed product. Indian Potato has
a distinct place in International market because of its standard quality and a wide range
of variety.

In India, Uttar Pradesh is the largest producer of Potato. In the state there are so many
well known places which produce Potato and its processed product. The state is
having facilities like industrial area separate from the city and Special Economic Zones,
Dry Ports etc.

SAARC Nations is one of the major markets of Potato and its processed products. The
rules and regulation of exporting to these countries are almost same. Nepal is one of the
major markets of SAARC Nations. The country is also having bilateral trade agreements
with India. Stable Political and Economical conditions make the market business
friendly.

In my research have elaborated all these aspects of exportation of Potato and its
processed products to Nepal.

This research would definitely be very useful Potato and its processed products
