rosette-embellished cardigan
Remember the Knitwit? A sensation among 1970s crafters, this old
infomercial favorite is still around today—and still the fastest way to
whip up versatile yarn rosettes than can be shaped into any number of
accessories. It comes with instructions for use and is a snap to learn.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED Knitwit kit (available online), mohair yarn (in shades of
white and pink), scissors, needle and thread

Follow the instructions that come with the Knitwit kit to form rosettes. Use the
same type of yarn for all of them, varying the colors. Wind the yarn four times
around the tool for each bloom; when stitching the center and perimeter of
each, work with a single strand rather than four. Release the finished rosettes
from the tool and use a needle and thread to tack them to the sweater.
