WARNING:
● Before beginning the installation, turn off electricity at the circuit breaker box or the main fuse box by
switching off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.
CAUTIONS:
● These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before
the installation of your fixture. We are strongly recommend that a professional electrician install the fixture.
● Disconnect fixture from the power source before replacing the bulb(s), making sure the bulb(s) had
sufficient time to cool down. DO NOT subject the lamp to any shock while lit as shattering of lamp may
result.
NOTE :
● Due to the hanging weight of this fixture , Quoizel highly recommends you consult a licensed
electrician or qualified contractor for this installation . Quoizel recommends ( 2 ) people for this
installation .
● The safety Cable is required on all single chain suspended ceiling fixtures weighing over 45 pounds .
Improper installation of this safety cable could result in fixture falling or serious injury . If in doubt about
installation , you may need to consult a licensed electrician or qualified contractor .

WARNING:
● Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or
operate the product . Contact customer service for replacement part.

● Estimated Assembly Time: 1 hour


● Tools Required for Assembly(not included): Flathead Screwdriver , Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, Electrical
Tape, Wire Cutters, Safety Glasses &18, 60 Watt, Type - B Candelabra Bulbs.
● Helpful Tools(not included): Wire Strippers.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 :
a . Unfold the Support Arms to proper locations as shown
on the right illustration .

STEP 2 :
a . Thread the Center Stem into the Coupling and hand Fixture Loop
tighten until snug . Please make sure Mounting Holes
on the side of Center Stem line up holes on the top of
Fixture Body . Mounting Hole
b . Thread Fixture Loop onto the top end of the Center
Stem and tighten until snug .

STEP 3 :
a . Place the nipple ends of Side Arms into the hole on
the top of Fixture Body and match holes on other end

onto Mounting Holes on the side of Center Stem .
b . Thread Lock Screws into Mounting Holes and hand
tighten until snug to secure Side Arms .

STEP 4:
a . Secure Lower Support Arms onto Center
Column by threading Lock Screws into the
mounting holes on the Center Column . Hand
tighten until snug .

STEP 5:
* Plier is required on this step . Crossbar
a . Thread one Hex Nut onto top end of the Nipple .

b . Place one Lock Washer over the top end of the
Nipple and then thread the Nipple into the Hex Nut
center hole of the Crossbar . Hand tighten until
snug .
Please make sure there is enough length
extruded from the top of the Crossbar for Step 6 .
c . Using pliers , thread the Hex Nut against the
1 / 4 IPS Nipple
Crossbar and hand tighten until snug .

STEP 6: Structural or
a . Drill a 5 / 8 " diameter clearance hole on the top Bridging Member
inside center of the Outlet Box and through the
Structural Support Member .
b . Place Crossbar onto the Outlet box and line up
Mounting Holes with a set of holes on Crossbar. Outlet Box
c. Thread Outlet Box Screws into the mounting
holes on the Outlet Box and tighten until snug to
secure the Crossbar . Mounting Hole

d . Using portable screwdriver , thread Mounting
Screws into the Structural or Bridging Member Outlet Box Screw
and tighten until snug .

STEP 7:
a . Locate the Fixture Chain and attach one end of
it to the Fixture Loop at the top of the Fixture
with a Quick Link Connector .
b . Decide the length of the chain needed for your Fixture Chain
application . You will be required to remove
excess links with bolt cutters .

STEP 8 :
a . Unravel the Fixture Wires , Ground Wires , Ground Wires and Safety Cable .
b . Pass the wires through alternating links on the chain . Proceed to pass the wires through the following
mounting components in this turn :
Canopy Lock Ring , Ceiling Canopy , Canopy Chain Loop , Lock Washer and Hex Nut , Nipple and
Crossbar .

STEP 9: Structureal or
Work the Safety Cable end through the Fixture Bridging Member
Chain , alternating every other link . Proceed to Safety Cable
pass the Safety Cable end through the Nipple , Tuck Washer
Crossbar and Outlet Box . Make up the Tuck
Washer Knot , refer to Step 9 .

Pull all of excess cable through all of the holes Outlet Box
until the Tuck Washer is very close to the
opening at the end of the 3 / 8 - 18 Pipe . Remove
as much slack as possible out of the Tuck
Washer . About ½ " of slack between Tuck
Washer and the hole is acceptable .

STEP 10: 12 O ' clock


a . Pull all of the Safety Cable up through the Safety Hole 1 O ' clock Hole

b . Push the Cable down through the 12 O ' clock 12

Hole . Leaving ½ " of slack .
c . Push the Cable up through the 1 O ' clock Hole
and tuck it under the cable between the Center
Hole and the 12 O ' clock Hole . Center Hole

STEP 11:
a . Thread Hex Nut onto the end of the Nipple and then
place Lock Washer over the end of the Nipple.
Thread the Canopy Chain Loop onto the end of
Nipple
the Nipple .
b . Using plier , thread the Hex Nut against the Hex Nut
Canopy Chain Loop and tighten until snug . Lock Washer
c . Attach the top end of the Fixture Chain onto Canopy
Canopy Chain Loop by using Quick Link . Chain Loop
d . Refer to Step 12 - Wire Connections to connect Quick Link
wires .
e . Push the Ceiling Canopy upward over the Outlet
Box .

f . Thread the Canopy Lock Ring onto the Canopy
Chain Loop and tighten until snug to secure the
Canopy

STEP 12 .
* Use Wire Connectors ( not supplied ) to connect the
wires . WHITE OR RIBBED WHITE OR RIBBED
a . C onnect the House Ground Wire to the Fixture Ground FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE

b . C onnect the House Whit e ( or Ribbed ) Wire to the
Fixture Supply Wire ( White or Ribbed Side ) . BLACK ( OR RED ) WIRE BLACK SIDE
c . C onnect the House Black ( or Red ) Wire to the Fixture
FROM FIXTURE
Supply Wire ( Black Side ). FROM HOUSE
d . Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape and
carefully stuff all of the connected wires into the Outlet Box .

STEP 13 :
a . Secure Finial onto the nipple on the bottom center of
Fixture Body . Hand tighten until snug .

STEP 14 :
a . Place Candle Cover with Harp over Socket as shown .
b . Put Shade setting onto the top end of the Harp .

STEP 15:
a . Install the correct bulbs referring to the fixture markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .

Your installation is now complete. Restore electricity. Keep this sheet for future reference.
