Attention His Excellency Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III: 
 
I am writing on behalf of the 54,000 members of the Canadian Union of Postal 
Workers to demand that your Government immediately carry out an immediate, 
impartial and more thorough investigation on the murder of Celito Baccay. 
 
CUPW is also asking for an immediate filing of complaints on criminal court to bring the 
perpetrators who are responsible for the murder of Celito Baccay to justice. 
 
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is also requesting an investigation on the reported 
harassments and surveillances on leaders and members of MAGIKWO, the  
Maeno‐Giken Workers Organization. 
 
Our Union is asking that your Government take necessary and prompt steps to protect the 
right to unionize of the workers in Maeno Giken Inc.  
 
Finally, CUPW is urging the Maeno Giken Management to recognize the MAGIKWO and 
to negotiate for a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with the union.
