Osama bin Laden, the mastermind
behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that
killed thousands of Americans, was slain
Sunday, May 1, 2011 in his luxury hideout in
Pakistan in a firefight with U.S. forces, ending a
manhunt that spanned a frustrating decade.
"Justice has been done," President
Barack Obama declared late Sunday as crowds
formed outside the White House to celebrate.
Many sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" and
"We Are the Champions."
Hundreds more waved American flags
at ground zero in New York — where the twin
towers that once stood as symbols of American
economic power were brought down by bin
Laden's hijackers 10 years ago.
Bin Laden, 54, was killed after a
gunbattle with Navy SEALs and CIA
paramilitary forces at a compound in the city of
Abbottabad. He was shot in the left eye, NBC
News' Savannah Guthrie reported citing an
unnamed U.S. official.
In a background briefing with
journalists, U.S. officials originally suggested
that Bin Laden opened fire on the American
forces before he was killed.
However, this was later fond not to be
the truth,
The special operations forces were on
the ground for less than 40 minutes and the
operation was watched in real-time by CIA
director Leon Panetta and other intelligence
officials in a conference room at CIA
headquarters in Langley, Va., an official said on
condition of anonymity.
The team returned to Afghanistan with
bin Laden's body, U.S. officials said. NBC
News reported that bin Laden was later buried
at sea.
Islamic tradition calls for a body to be
buried within 24 hours, but finding a country
willing to accept the remains of the world's most
wanted terrorist would have been difficult, a
senior administration official said.
Two Obama administration officials told
the Associated Press Monday that DNA
evidence shows the body was bin Laden's, with
99.9 percent confidence.
Other U.S. officials said one of bin
Laden's sons and two of his most trusted
couriers also were killed, as was an unidentified
woman who was used as a human shield.
In the week that followed, it was
established that bin Laden did not use the
woman as a human shield, but put herself
between bin Laden and the Navy Seals.
Al Arabiya TV reported that two of bin
Laden's wives and four of his children were also
captured during the operation.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity,
a senior U.S. security official told Reuters that
Navy SEALs dropped by helicopter to the
compound were under orders to not capture bin
Laden.
"This was a kill operation," the official
said.

Intelligence officials weren't certain that
bin Laden would be at the site as there was "no
smoking gun that put him there," NBC News
reported. But Bin Laden was indeed holed up in
a two-story house 100 yards from a Pakistani
military academy when four helicopters
carrying U.S. forces swooped in .
Bin Laden's guards opened fire on the
commandos and his final hiding place was left
in flames, witnesses said.
One of the choppers "inexplicably"
stopped working during the operation and
landed, sources told NBC News. The chopper
was later destroyed by the U.S. team and the
raid went forward.
U.S. officials said no Americans were
hurt in the operation.
Abbottabad is home to three Pakistan
army regiments and thousands of military
personnel and is dotted with military buildings.
BBC News described the army site as the
country's equivalent to West Point.
The discovery that bin Laden was living
in an army town in Pakistan raises pointed
questions about how he managed to evade
capture and even whether Pakistan's military
and intelligence leadership knew of his
whereabouts and sheltered him.
The news of bin Laden's death
immediately raised concerns that reprisal
attacks from al-Qaida and other Islamist
extremist groups could follow soon.
"In the wake of this operation, there
may be a heightened threat to the U.S.
homeland," a U.S. official said. "The U.S. is
taking every possible precaution. The State
Department has sent advisories to embassies
worldwide and has issued a travel ban for
Pakistan."
Police in New York, site of the deadliest
attack on Sept. 11, said they had already begun
to "ramp up" security on their own.
Other local law enforcement agencies
around the U.S. are adding extra security
measures out of "an abundance of caution,"
according to the Port Authority of New York
and New Jersey.
The agency said the extra police were
not a response to a specific threat and facilities
would operate normally.
In Los Angeles, police said they were
stepping up intelligence monitoring and in
Philadelphia, a lieutenant said police were
checking mosques and synagogues every hour.
Charles Wolf of New York, whose wife,
Katherine, died on Sept, 11, 2001, rejoiced at
the news, which he called "wonderful."
"I am really glad that man's evil is off
this earth forever," Wolf said. "I am just very
glad that they got him."
Former President George W. Bush said
in a statement that he had personally been
informed by Obama of the death of the terrorist
leader whose attacks forever defined his eight
years in office.
"This momentous achievement marks a
victory for America, for people who seek peace
around the world, and for all those who lost
loved ones on September 11, 2001," the former
president said.
"The fight against terror goes on, but
tonight America has sent an unmistakable
message: No matter how long it takes, justice
will be done."
Obama echoed his predecessor,
declaring that "the death of bin Laden marks the
most significant achievement to date in our
nation's struggle to defeat al-Qaida."
But he stressed that the effort against the
organization continues. Al-Qaida remains in
existence as an organization, presumably under
the leadership of Ayman al-Zawahiri, 59, an
Egyptian physician who is widely believed to
have been bin Laden's No. 2.
"We must and we will remain vigilant at
home and abroad," Obama said, while
emphasizing that "the United States is not and
never will be at war with Islam."
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham
Clinton said Monday, May 2, 2011 the killing of
bin Laden is not the end of the war on terrorism
and warned the network's members that the U.S.
would be relentless in its pursuit of them.
Turning to deliver a direct message to
bin Laden's followers, she vowed: "You cannot
wait us out. You cannot defeat us but you can
make the choice to abandon al-Qaida and
participate in a peaceful political process."
Officials had long believed that bin
Laden was hiding a mountainous region along
the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. In August,
U.S. intelligence officials got a tip on his
whereabouts, which led to the operation that
culminated Sunday, Obama said.
By mid-February, information
developed that made U.S. officials confident
that the information was sound.
In mid-March, Obama headed five
National Security Council meetings on the
subject. Friday morning, he gave the final order
to carry out the attack on a compound in what
was described as an "affluent suburb" of
Islamabad.
"The bottom line of our collection and
analysis was that we had high confidence that
the compound held a high-value terrorist
target," a senior official said, with a "strong
probability" that it was bin Laden.
"It is also noteworthy that the property is
valued at approximately $1 million but has no
telephone or Internet service connected to it," an
administration official added.
Bin Laden's compound was huge and
"extraordinarily unique," about eight times
larger than other homes in the area, U.S.
officials said.
Few windows of the three-story home
faced the outside of the compound, and other
intense security measures included 12- to 18-
foot outer walls topped with barbed wire and
internal walls that sectioned off different parts
of the compound, officials said.
They said the compound was isolated by
12-foot walls, with access restricted by two
security gates. Residents in the compound
burned their trash, rather than leaving it for
collection as did their neighbors, officials said.
The sound of at least two explosions
rocked Abbottabad as the fighting raged.

"After midnight, a large number of commandos
encircled the compound. Three helicopters were
hovering overhead. All of a sudden there was
firing toward the helicopters from the ground,"
said Nasir Khan, a resident of the town.
"There was intense firing and then I saw
one of the helicopters crash," said Khan, who
had watched the dramatic scene unfold from his
rooftop.
Resident Sahibzada Salahuddin said he
was asleep when explosions woke him.
"I was sleeping when all of a sudden
there was a blast. It was followed by two more
small blasts ... I opened the door and saw the
entire compound was on fire," he said.
The role of Pakistan, with which
Washington has had a difficult relationship for
years, remained unclear. A senior Pakistani
intelligence official told NBC News that
Pakistani special forces took part in the
operation, but senior U.S. and Pakistani
officials said Pakistan was not informed of the
attack in advance.
Pakistan's first official statement about
the operation Monday said the death of bin
Laden showed the resolve of Pakistan and the
world to battle terrorism, and that it was "a
major setback to terrorist organizations around
the world."
"This operation was conducted by the
U.S. forces in accordance with declared U.S.
policy that Osama bin Laden will be eliminated
in a direct action by the U.S. forces, wherever
found in the world," the statement from
Pakistan's foreign ministry statement said. .
Critics have long accused elements of
Pakistan's security establishment of protecting
bin Laden, though Islamabad has always denied
this.
Earlier, a senior adviser to Pakistani
President Asif Ali Zardari told NBC News that
the politician was expected to make an
"extremely positive" statement later Monday
because bin Laden was "an enemy of the
Pakistani people."
Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai,
meanwhile, argued that the strike proved the
real fight against terrorists was outside his
country's borders.
"For years we have said that the fight
against terrorism is not in Afghan villages and
houses," Karzai said. "It is in safe havens, and
today that was shown to be true."
He offered his appreciation to
international and Afghan forces who have lost
their lives in the nearly 10-year war in
Afghanistan and expressed hope that bin
Laden's death could mean the end of terrorism.
But he said now is the time to stop assaults that
endanger or harass Afghan civilians.
Karzai pledged, however, that
Afghanistan stands ready to do its part to help
fight terrorists and extremists.
"We are with you and we are your
allies," he said, noting that many Afghans had
died because of bin Laden's terror network.
Reaction to the news of bin Laden's
death was swift.
Bonnie McEneaney, 57, whose husband,
Eamon, died in the 9/11 attacks, said the death
of bin Laden was "long overdue."
"It doesn't bring back all the wonderful
people who were killed 10 years ago,"
McEneaney told msnbc.com by phone from her
home in New Canaan, Conn.
"I'm completely numb. I'm stunned," she
said.
"The first thought I had in my mind was
that it didn't bring my son back," Jack Lynch,
who lost his son, New York City firefighter
Michael Francis Lynch, on Sept. 11, 2001, told
msnbc.com.
"You cut the head off a snake, you'd
think it would kill the snake. But someone will
take his place," Lynch said. "But people like
him still exist. The fact that he's gone is not
going to stop terrorism."
Lynch, 75, is a retired transit worker. His
family's charity, the Michael Lynch Memorial
Foundation, has made grants to send dozens of
students to college. He said he would not
celebrate bin Laden's death.
"I understand that bin Laden was an evil
person. He may have believed in what he was
doing. I'm not going to judge him," Lynch said.
"I'm sure some people will look at this and
they'll be gratified that he's dead, but me
personally, I'm going to leave his fate in God's
hands."
U.S. officials who have been entrenched
in the battle against al-Qaida for years were
more jubilant.
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., Obama's
opponent in the 2008 election, said he was
"overjoyed that we finally got the world's top
terrorist."
"The world is a better and more just
place now that Osama bin Laden is no longer in
it," McCain said in a statement. "I hope the
families of the victims of the September 11
attacks will sleep easier tonight and every night
hence knowing that justice has been done."

History of Death
With the death of Osama bin Laden, the
Al-Qaeda ('the Base' in Arabic) international
terrorist network has lost its founder and
ideological leader. It first began to operate in the
late 1980s.
It's biggest and most well known attack
are the September 11, 2011 assaults on the
World Trade Center, and Pentagon in the United
States which launched a U.S. war in
Afghanistan to destroy its bases and overthrow
the Taliban, the ruling government which
harbored Bin Laden.
Among other attacks are suicide
bombings in 2007 in Algiers, a 2002 nightclub
bombing in Bali, Indonesia, and the 1993 World
Trade Center bombing.
Other attacks include the 2000 bombing
of the U.S.S. cole and the 1998 bombing of the
U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es
Salaam in Tanzania. European attacks have
included the bombing of commuter trains in
Madrid, Spain and London, UK's transport
system.
The following is a glimpse into some of
the attacks which the terrorist group has
perpetrated.

Water is the most important element on
earth. We are born of water from our mother’s
womb. Our bodies are made up of seventy
percent water. The Earth’s surface is covered by
seventy percent water. Most plant life is ninety
percent water. Humans need to consume water
in order to survive. It is a crucial resource here
on Earth.
Scientifically and spiritually speaking,
water is an important superconductor. Shamans
use water to heal, Seers use water as a window,
and Priests use water to bless. It can also be
used as tool at your bedside to help you tap into
the dream time or spirit plane.
There is a secret world related to many
bodies of water such as the oceans, lakes,
ponds, creeks, and rivers. These waterways are
also portals to other realms. The Earth Angels
use bodies of water as doorways to our world.
The dolphins and whales are spiritual creatures
that access these portals. If these mammals go
extinct, and leave us, this is a sign to all of
mankind that humanity will also perish.
Water is also the most powerful force of
Mother Nature, which is the feminine part of
God. If you look back through time there are
records of cleansings the world with floods, ice,
storms, and many catastrophic events that have
been conducted to clear an area or population
that has fallen from grace. The great land of

we are experiencing a natural cleansing by way
of floods, tsunamis, and hurricanes. The oceans
are warming up and its occupants are evolving
and some are dying. As I view the globe, I see
the Earth has tilted off its axis, the magnetic
poles are shifting, and the tectonic plates are
moving. This is causing fissures deep in the
ocean floor, (many unknown to man) to open
and allow heat to escape from the Earth’s crust
into the seas. All this movement will cause
earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tidal
waves.
New Orleans is a prime example of a
water cleansing; Mother Earth is cleaning and
purging herself from the certain areas that are
polluted and toxic. Unfortunately I have been
shown that New Orleans will take another hit.
The levees will not be strong enough and water
will pour though and meet the land. It will
simply be washed away with anything else in its
path.
Other places will also experience
Mother Nature’s wrath. South Florida from the
Palm beaches to the Florida Key’s will continue
to experience devastating hurricanes, flooding,
and tornadoes. California’s coastlines will be hit
by the oceans moving inland, causing much of
the coastline to recede dramatically. Our East
coast shorelines will also move inland. Japan
and many other islands will be hit by tsunamis,
tidal waves, earthquakes, and flooding.
Why is this happening? Because the
Earth is shifting quickly and moving to a higher
frequency. As If that is not enough for humanity
to cope with, there will also be man made
disasters created by our governments. It is a
hard fact to look at, and many people will be in
denial, but the government has the capability to
seed storms, create hurricanes, and direct them
to areas that they want hit. Then label them
natural disasters. Man should not play God or
interfere with Mother Nature. She is very
unpredictable in the days that we are currently
living. She is doing only what is necessary
based on our actions and timing. This is a very
special era in the history of the Earth as well as
our evolution. I refer to this time as “the
ascension” or “The Awakening.”
Think of this as humanity’s time to
graduate. Individually, we are being given the
opportunity to shift with the Mother Earth to a
higher vibration. We have the choice to raise
our awareness and consciousness. The solution
is for each of us to wake up and take
responsibility for ourselves. Each person will
need to become spiritually aware and then take
action. This will lead to the collective masses
becoming awake and active — in turn, creating
a powerful shift to construct a better world. The
paradise that once was Earth can be again. We
are co-creators with Mother, Father, God, and
the Holy Spirit. “Free Will” is our birthright.
So we have the power to take action and choose
to recreate Utopia. The time is now.
I choose hope, love, and light over fear
and darkness. It will take twenty five percent of
the world population to change our outcome for
a better future. That is a small percentage of
people, and it proves just how powerful the light
and the unconditional love of God is. The part
of God that resides within all of us.

Al Qaeda was founded in 1988 by

Osama bin Laden to consolidate the
international network he established during the
Afghan war. Its goals were the advancement of
Islamic revolutions throughout the Muslim
world and repelling foreign intervention in the
Middle East.
Bin Laden, son of a billionaire Saudi
businessman, became involved in the fight
against the Soviet Union’s invasion and
occupation of Afghanistan, which lasted from
1979 to 1988 and ended with a Soviet defeat at
the hands of international militias of Muslim
fighters backed by the U.S., Saudi Arabia and
Pakistan. Together with Palestinian Muslim
Brotherhood leader, Abdullah Azzam, bin
Laden ran one of seven main militias involved
in the fighting. They established military
training bases in Afghanistan and founded
Maktab Al Khidamat, or Services Office, a
support network that provided recruits and
money through worldwide centers, including in
the U.S.
Bin Laden and Azzam had different
visions for what to do with the network they had
established. Bin Laden decided to found Al
Qaeda, based on personal affiliations created
during the fighting in Afghanistan as well as on
his own international network, reputation and
access to large sums of money. The following
year Azzam was assassinated. After the war
ended, the Afghan-Arabs, as the mostly non-
Afghan volunteers who fought the Soviets came
to be known, either returned to their countries of
origin or joined conflicts in Somalia, the
Balkans and Chechnya. This benefited Al
Qaeda’s global reach and later helped cultivate
the second and third generations of Al Qaeda peacekeeping mission. It also gave massive leading Muslim militants declared the

One-in-five Canadians and more than a
third of Britons think the U.S. is less safe now
than before the death of the al-Qaeda leader.
Most people in Canada and Britain
believe Americans were right to celebrate the
death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, a
new two-country Angus Reid Public Opinion
poll has found.
The online survey of representative
national samples also shows that Britons appear
to be more concerned about the possibility of
terrorists targeting their country than
Canadians.
When and How People Found Out
More than half of Canadians (53%) say
they found out about the demise of the al-Qaeda
leader on Sunday night—May 1, 2011—
including large proportions of respondents in
the Western provinces. Seven-in-ten Britons
(72%) discovered the news about bin Laden’s
death on Monday morning.
Half of Canadians (50%) and practically
half of Britons (48%) first learned about the
death of Osama bin Laden through television.
Britons were more likely to find out on the
Internet (19%, compared to 15% for
Canadians), while Canadians were twice as
likely to rely on social media (10%, compared
to 5% for Britons).
Celebrations
There was little difference in the two
countries when respondents were asked about
the impromptu celebrations that occurred in
Washington, D.C. and other American cities
after the death of bin Laden was revealed. More
than three-in-five respondents in both Canada
(64%) and Britain (69%) believe these
celebrations were justified, and only one-in-four
(23% in Canada, 24% in Britain) think they
were unjustified.
Credit
Canadians (75%) and Britons (76%)
overwhelmingly believe that the Central
Intelligence Agency (CIA) deserves “most of
the credit” or “some of the credit” for the death
of Osama bin Laden. More than three-in-five
respondents also commend U.S. President
Barack Obama (63% in Canada, 65% in
Britain), while considerably fewer think former
U.S. President George W. Bush should be
lauded (19% in Canada, 15% in Britain).
Barely one-in-ten respondents in the two
countries claim that the Government of Pakistan
deserves credit for Osama bin Laden’s death
(11% in Canada, 8% in Britain).
Safety
Most Canadians (65%) and Britons
(52%) think the death of Osama bin Laden will
make no difference in the safety of the United
States. However, more than a third of
respondents in Britain (37%) believe the U.S. is
now less safe than it was before the al-Qaeda
leader’s demise. In addition, three-in-five
Canadians (62%) and three-in-four Britons
(78%) think it is “very likely” or “moderately
likely” that a deadly terrorist attack will take
place in the United States in the next 12 months.
When it comes to safety in their own
countries, three-in-four Canadians (75%)
believe the state of affairs will not change, while
36 per cent of Britons suggest that their country
is now less safe as a result of bin Laden’s death.

kindergarteners sat cross-legged on their
classroom carpet, reading in tiny voices a list of
rhyming words: best, rest, west, nest.
At this Islamic school in suburban
Washington, D.C., where an American flag
hangs in the lobby and pupils' Earth Day posters
decorate the hallways, teachers guide a
generation of youngsters defined by the Sept.
11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
"They have never lived in a world where
Muslims were not considered terrorists," said
Johari Abdul-Malik, an imam and director of
community outreach for the Dar Al-Hijrah
Islamic Center, which runs the school.
In the wake of Sept. 11, the lives of
many American Muslims were changed in such
a fundamental way that not even the death of
Osama bin Laden — the leader of the al-Qaida
terrorist organization, which orchestrated the
attacks — can fully turn back the clock on an
existence once quietly lived in the shadows. In
the post-Sept. 11 era, the woman in the head
scarf or the man in the turban became part of the
scary "other," and new phrases such as "Shariah
law" were added to the nation's lexicon.
The day after President Barack Obama
made the dramatic announcement late May 1
that bin Laden had been killed, Muslim
religious leaders took to the airwaves
condemning the terrorist leader. That same day,
vandals spray-painted the words "Osama today,
Islam tomorow" (sic) on a mosque in Portland,
Maine.
The incident was a stark reminder that
the idea of the Muslim next door remains a
polarizing image in some circles.
In recent months, the public has debated
the rights of congregations to build houses of
worship within blocks of ground zero in New
York and in a suburban community of
Nashville, Tenn.
In America, the heightened focus on
eradicating the violence perpetuated by those
who espouse radical views of Islam has meant
that Muslims try just a little bit harder to subtly
show their non-Muslim neighbors that they, too,
live lives of normalcy.
Tayyibah Taylor, the editor and
publisher of Azizah Magazine, an Atlanta-based
publication that focuses on American Muslim
women, said there was a difference between
how American-born Muslims and immigrants
reacted to being considered different. "It
depends on the level of comfort," she said. "For
African-American Muslims, who have already
dealt with some social injustices and know how
to maneuver that road already, it's something
that you just do. For many of the immigrants,
some of whom were flying under the cultural
radar, all of a sudden they realized they were the
'other,' and it was a surprise." []

Potassium iodide, also called KI, only

PART ONE: INTRODUCTION
Hello to all fellow beings sharing this
predicament of breathing the latest Japanese
emissions, combined with many years of other
toxic emissions, to place us all in a possibly,
only slightly elevated, and possibly, extremely
elevated, health risk. We just don’t fully know
yet. The possibility that spent fuel rods may
already have been destroyed at the accident site
in Japan and released unknown amounts of
extremely toxic radioactive particulates that are
not yet being measured and reported to the
public cannot be discounted.
So many of us, in our concern, are
asking, “What can I do?”
This is an attempt to summarize some
ideas and practices from a couple of
knowledgeable non-government affiliated
persons with wide experience with toxins and
detoxification methods. It is intended for health
education purposes only, as each of us has to
make our own decisions about the behaviors
and strategies we choose to implement at this
time when radioactive emissions are heightened
to an unknown degree, and we have conflicting
information (most official government
statements saying everything is safe and fine,
while many independent experts are saying that
it is not so, and all these health advisers saying
take this supplement, take that supplement , take
iodine, etc.).
I am no expert in this field. I am just an
information gatherer trying to stimulate the
conversation and awareness among ‘we the
people who live downstream’ of all this.
So I asked two women who ARE experts
in this field, Dr. Hildegarde Staninger and Dr.
Janet Starr Hull, to give me a crash course in
what they know about options that may be
useful in encouraging your body to maintain
efficiency in detoxing whatever toxins may
come…with special emphasis on things that
may help and are widely available, and where
possible to emphasize anything useful that is
available to all.
I personally believe that our individual
spiritual practices and beliefs will be a very
important factor in influencing our personal
health, The prayer in my heart is that the
information gathered here will be helpful in
your journey to calm fear, make more informed
choices about your detox options if you do have
radiation exposure, and thereby help you to
maintain the vitality to practice the spiritual

Drs. Staninger and Hull have each developed
their own product lines and specific ways of
going about detoxifying. I think their strategies
and products, used the way they recommend
them, are very efficient ways to remove toxins,
with strong scientific research to validate their
claims. These are good and time-tested ways to
detox.
However, mindful that we may be facing
a situation where there is global impact, and that
very many people will not have funds to buy
commercial detox supplies or the very best
quality foods even if they were available for all
who may desire them, Dr. Staninger and Dr.
Hull were asked to help imagine what one can
do, even if one cannot access any storebought
products, or only a few basic ones, which will
surely be the situation for many, as it is already
in Japan.
With more limited supplies one has
fewer options and perhaps less efficiency in
moving toxins out of the body at the most
efficient rate; but one can still encourage the
body to detox with the best that is available to
you.
We really are all in this together, we
really do all live downstream, and we must each

PART TWO: WHAT ABOUT
IODINE AND RADIATION
There has been much spoken about
radioactive iodine and the need to protect the
thyroid by taking iodine pills, and there has
been panic buying of this substance in many
places.
It is true that radioactive forms of
iodine, which can bind to the thyroid and cause
thyroid cancer, are blocked from binding to the
thyroid if the body has sufficient supply of non-
radioactive iodine at the thyroid before and
during radioactive iodine exposure.
However, from this fact many people
have generalized two incorrect assumptions:

SIDE EFFECTS.
Both Drs. Staninger and Hull recognize
the need to protect the thyroid with natural
forms of iodine. Both recommended getting
iodine from kelp, other sea vegetables, and
other natural sources as being much safer than
using iodine pills.
Below are Dr. Staninger’s post of March
19 2011 titled :
“WHY PEOPLE SHOULD NOT
TAKE POTASSIUM IODIDE – Natural
Remedies For Radiation Exposure” and a list
of foods that are natural sources of iodine. If
you are going to use something like kelp
capsules, follow the recommended dosage on
the container. Dr. Staninger mentioned that a
sufficient daily amount of nori sea vegetable,
which comes in dry sheets approximately 8 by
11, would probably be equal to approximately
two sheets per day. Dr. Staninger mentions that
all dosages are standardized to fit the profile of
a 150 pound adult. If you are calculating
dosages of anything for a 50 pound kid, adjust
the dosage downward proportionally. If you are
calculating dosages for a 300 pound adult,
adjust the dosage upward proportionally.

Potassium Iodide –Natural Remedies For

In light of the latest news about the
Japanese nuclear reactor meltdowns, there is a
wave of panic as potassium iodide (KI) supplies
are sold out in the US. I am not taking KI, nor
am I recommending it for my patients, family or
friends. I urge people not to take KI
supplements because KI should be only taken
under the supervision of a physician, as it needs
to be dosed every 24 hours to be effective when
there is a documented exposure to radioactive
iodine and dosing iodine over long periods of
time may suppress normal thyroid function.
Lastly, some people may experience side effects
or allergic reaction to KI and the ingredients in
the pills. Nonetheless, I do believe taking steps
to maintain a healthy immunity will help one to
reduce the effects of radiation exposure:
1. Drink purified alkaline water, such as
Kangen water or diluted Willard Water;
2. Eat an organic, whole foods based diet
including dark leafy greens, whole grains and a
variety of produce;
3. Consume chlorella and spirulina, both of
which have been shown to reduce the effects of
radiation;
4. Consume sea vegetables for natural sources
of iodine without the side effects mentioned
above – such as seaweed, kelp, dulse, nori,
wakame and the like, as these foods will NOT
suppress normal thyroid function;
5. Consume probiotic foods such as non-GMO
miso, yogurt or Jerusalem Artichoke Flour
(which can be sprinkled over food or put into
fresh juices);
6. Consume fresh, raw foods especially fresh

SUPPORT FOR DETOXIFICATION
OF RADIOACTIVE PARTICLES IN
THE BODY
First, I will cite the general dietary
recommendations of Dr. Staninger and Dr. Hull,
and then discuss some of their suggestions on
specific helpful foods and how to use them.
It is very important to practice some
kind of colon cleanse in the early stages of any
detox protocol to increase efficiency of
elimination. Without cleaning the colon first,
there is a risk that the acculumulated toxins
already present in the colon will create a
situation where toxins moving through the body
are re-absorbed rather than eliminated.
The best advice from the natural experts
says to remember this step if you want to
mobilize the full miraculous powers of your
body to flush out toxic materials.
There are lots of methods to do a colon
cleanse. Eating mostly fresh foods is important,
as is drinking lots of water. Dr. Staninger uses
a product called Happy Tummy to aid in colon
cleansing; Dr. Hull recommends French green
clay. They both note that activated charcoal is
also useful in absorbing toxins while cleaning
the colon.
Both Drs. Hull and Staninger advise to
do one’s best while detoxing to eat a 75%—
80% raw foods diet. That is what is optimal.
Both advise against the consumption of
genetically modified products, refined sugars,
artificial sweeteners, and chemical preservtives.
Minimize your intake of these things and eat
more food in its natural state, directly as
delivered by Mother Earth, that is the
suggestion. This was stressed as extremely
important for detox because, the body’s natural
detoxifying mechanisms can become
overloaded by the chemically processed food
additives. Everyone has to work with the foods
that are available, just do your best to
incorporate as much fresh and locally grown
foods in their natural state as is possible in your
situation.
Both Drs. Hull and Staninger speak
eloquently about the blood sugar imbalance
issues that come from using refined sugars and
white bleached flours, and how they complicate
and make less efficient the body’s natural detox
pathways (we’ll skip their technical
explanations for our purposes). Natural sugars
like honey, maple syrup, blue agave syrup, and
stevia are considered healthy and may be used
in quantity during detox. Refined sugars like
bleached white sugar, high fructose corn syrup,
and artificial sweetners like aspartame are
considered damaging to the body, as is refined

Dr. Hull teaches a few old-time wisdoms
about eating and cooking that assist in
maintaining your body’s acid/alkaline balance:
1. Soak acid-forming foods such as
whole grains and legumes, before cooking.
2. Chew thoroughly to mix food with
alkaline saliva and natural digestive enzymes
secreted in your saliva.
3. Do not drink liquids while eating
as this washes away your saliva.
Foods and medicines that have been
recommended again and again for helping
detox, and show up in many commercial
products for this purpose, include:
Chlorella, Spirulina, Garlic, Onions,
Nutritional Yeast, Aloe Vera. Ginkgo Biloba,
Cucurmin from turmeric, Miso, Pine Bark
Extract, Green Tea Extract, and Grape Seed

your detox protocol if they are available to you.
Dr. Staninger makes the point that if you
are going to radically change your diet for a
time from a modern mainstream processed food
diet towards a 75% raw foods diet, you have to
make it fun! That is, you have to make the
foods taste interesting. I noticed I can eat only
so many fresh vegetables, but if I make a
homemade peanut sauce as a dip, I enjoy them
a lot more. So if you can use your spices and
sauces and creativity to make these foods
delicious, you’ll have an easier time allowing
this experience into your life.
Dr. Staninger also advises that in
addition to a colon cleanse, it is a good idea to
flush the gall bladder as well, to clean out any
sludge. She says you do a gall bladder cleanse
simply by mixing one half cup of pure virgin
olive oil with the juice of three lemons, and
taking this internally. You don’t have to gulp it
down, but the idea is to get that into your body
in a relatively short time, over a few hours at
most. If there is a sludge buildup, this will
encourage it to break up and evacuate. Dr.
Staninger reported that many individuals pass
gall stones from this simple gall bladder
cleanse.
Dr. Hildy’s Cellular Tonic Recipe©
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 teaspoons diced garlic
- 1 level teaspoon red cayenne pepper
- Cook together in a small pot for one
minute then add the following ingredients:
- ½ cup brewed green tea, preferably
Japanese green tea.
- Brewed color should be lime green. If
the color is yellow/golden then the water is too
hot; suggest ½ boiling water and ½ cool water
for perfect lime green color.
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar. ½ cup
honey
- Mix all together in the small pot with
the previous ingredients, cook until the garlic
makes a scum on top, or 4 minutes. Watch
temperature because the honey will make the
pot boil over if you do not watch what you are
doing. Once the scum comes to the top remove
from heat and strain into a glass container. Cool
and use 1 tablespoon or more per day.
Refrigerate after cooled.
(Note : Olive oil will harden in the
refrigerator. When you take it out leave it to
warm on the counter at room temperature, then
shake and pour your tablespoon. This tonic has
been known to increase muscle strength, skin
texture, and build muscles. It was used by the
Mohawk Wrestling Team of Kahn:awake –
Mohawk Territory.)
Dr. Hildy’s Detox Soup Recipe
- 2 Cups water
- 1 bullion cube (organic) beef, chicken
or veggie (may substitue canned organic stock)
- Handful of fresh parsley
- 1 diced small onion
- Cook all ingredients in a small pot until
the onion is glassy, then strain and drink. This
soup pulls toxins and opens the breathing
passages of the lungs.
Dr. Hildy’s “Monkey Juice”
MONKEY JUICE (a cellular flush formula)
- Blend together:
- 1 lime with skin not removed
- 2 stalks celery
- 6 sprigs cilantro (cut in whole leafs and
stems, use scissors)
- Dash Olmec salt or other high grade
natural salt
- Dash red cayenne
- ¼ cup honey or blue agave sweetener
- One peeled prickly pear cactus fruit, if
available, fresh or canned; if not available, may
substitute another sweet red fruit of your choice,
such as raspberries
- Add water to blender for desired
consistency
- One drop chac mool minerals,
- A dash of Olmec natural salts, or dash
of other healthy salt.
- Chop up celery, cilantro, lime, put in
blender.
Add other ingredients
- Blend, strain and pour over ice.
Drink once daily.
(Caution—You need a sturdy blender to
chop up lime skin. It is easier, if you chop the
lime into small pieces or only blend a little at a
time.)

access to French green clay or the other clays,
what you can recommend as safe and effective?
Can people use the local clays from their area?
She responded that any clay that
powders when dry is the healthiest to ingest,
with the least potential for clogging the system.
She said bentonite clays are also useful,
however they have a higher potential for
clogging up one’s elimination.
There are several dangers and warnings
that apply about using clay products where there
is no quality control on their purity. First of all,
clays are useful because they absorb toxins. So,
if you dig clay from somewhere where there has
already been pollution in the area, that clay is
going to absorb the toxins from the surrounding
pollution and be very unhealthy indeed. So one
would want to be very careful, even where one
can find a good local source for clays that
powder when dry, to make sure that the area the
clay is coming from is not already polluted,
coming from the most unspoiled area available.
Where this cannot be assured, it is not safe to
assume that local clays will be helpful, they
could do more harm than good. With this caveat
in mind, one would still be advised to dig down
in undisturbed ground at least two feet in depth
to avoid airborne and surface contaminants.
Once a clay deposit is open to the air, it may
also become contaminated by whatever
emissions are airborne, so it would seem wise
not to use the same open hole more than once to
avoid this possible contamination source.
Another caution about the use of clay
without medical supervision, is that you can use
too much and plug up your elimination system.
Or you can use the right amount but not drink
enough water, and in this different way plug up
your elimination system. If you begin to use
clays and notice a serious reduction in the
quantity and quality of your bowel movements,
it would be advisable to reduce your clay intake
or increase your water intake, or both.
Dr. Hull recommends how much green
clay to use in her March 19 2011 Radiation
Remediation Protocol. Basically she
recommends one level teaspoon daily, in 8 oz of
water, once daily and up to twice daily during
times of presumed heavy exposure. She notes
that one does need to drink plenty of water and
to monitor one’s bodily reaction to using clay in
this way, and advises that if elimination is
affected negatively, then one should lower the
amount taken.

Waters with a pH above neutral, ( pH =
7 alkaline water), pH above 7 is recommended
to aid in detox. Where available, pure natural
alkaline water is ideal. Medical devices
emitting alkaline water are also useful where
available. And there are multiple commercial
liquid concentrates that may be added to water
to alkalinize it (Dr. Willard’s Water® is
recommended for this purpose by both Dr.
Staninger and Dr. Hull.)
However, for those with no access to
alkaline water through any of the above
methods, water can also be alkalinized by
adding bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) or
even by adding cream of tartar. (Caution should
be taken with baking soda for thosewho must
restrict their sodium intake.)
Use baking soda in the proportion of
one-half to one level teaspoon of baking soda to
one 8 oz glass of water, once daily; use cream of
tartar in the proportion of one-eighth level
teaspoon cream of tartar to one 8 oz glass of
water once daily.
Detox baths are another recommended
tool for eliminating toxins. The skin is a huge
organ through which a great deal of natural
elimination occurs. Allowing the skin to
breathe more deeply with detox baths is very
helpful and relaxing, and provides yet another
pathway of elimination as you are pushing
toxins out.
There are many materials useful for
detox baths. Dr. Hull recommends detox baths
using French green clay, or other useful clays.
Detox baths may also be done with baking soda,
or with magnesium bath salts, or with sea salts
such as Dead Sea salts or Himalayan salts.
Dr. Staninger recommends Opaline®
Solutions Wound Care and Detox Bath
Granules to increase the percentage of oxygen
in the water as it allows oxygen to penetrate the
body through the skin and reduce free-radical
damage. An initial bath or shower to get the
gross particulate matter off the body and then
another bath would be healthy for the benefits
of oxygen, is recommended.
Dr. Staninger pointed out that
radioactivity passing through the body may
release many free radicals which can damage
body systems. To remedy this, it is
recommended to oxygenate the body. She
prefers to use a concentrated stable oxygen
formulation internally in a capsule called
Opaline ® Dry Oxy. This is a very
concentrated, pure product for oxygenation,
which produces only oxygen and water in the
body.
When these products are not available,
she recommends oxygenation through diet by
avoiding the food groups mentioned in the food
section above, and selecting a high percentage
of very green foods: dark green leafy
vegetables, anything containing lots of
chlorophyll, chlorella, spirulina, wheat grass
and barley grass. With a few seeds you can
grow barley grass or wheat grass at home,
indoors or out, in a planter box; the green leaves
may be regularly harvested and juiced or simply
chewed if you don’t have a juicer. This is a
basic and natural food source one can produce
at home to help oxygenate the system.
However, mindful of the immediate
exposures in Japan, and the fact that in Japan
there is some popularity of using oxygen bars
for oxygenation, Dr. Staninger also mentioned
that where oxygen bars are an option, this is
another valid pathway to protect against free
radical damage by keeping your system well
oxygenated. If this were one’s only pathway for
oxygenaztion, she recommended this as
frequently as every other day; (“one day to
breathe in oxygen, a day to let the body breathe
out”), or it may also be used as an oxygenation
supplemental method, combined with using the
natural green foods mentioned above.
Use what you have available to you. If
you have insufficient access to clean water or
hot water or a bathtub for baths to be possible,
you can achieve a similar effect with a footbath.
Find a small container, heat the water however
you can, and use the above materials in a similar
manner to soak your feet. A great deal of toxins
release through the feet.
Far Infrared Radiation via Sunlight
Far infrared radiation is a natural
component of sunlight, and a natural emission
from our own healthy cells. Dr. Staninger is a
pioneer in the field of cellular resonance, and
she has been acknowledged for her
groundbreaking work demonstrating that the
application of far infrared radiation to the cells
of the body dramatically increased cellular
detoxification. In her clinic this is done with
medical grade far infrared emitting
technologies. This technology can be
purchased for home use, and can greatly
increase the efficiency of detoxification. Dr.
Staninger explains that using a far infrared
device is like jump starting a car when its
battery is dead—after the initial boost, the car
again generates its own power. The idea behind
using far infrared radiation is similar; when our
health is compromised by illness or toxin load,
we emit less far infrared from our cells. When
we “jumpstart” ourselves with frequent use of
far infrared, our cells again emit energy in the
far infrared range. The drawback is that the
equipment is expensive and not widely
available.
I mention far infrared radiation here in
this “Barefoot” Guidebook because there is a
cheap and accessible way to use far infrared
radiation in your detox protocol options. Far
infrared is a component of sunlight. Stand and
face the sun. Expose as much skin as you are
comfortable to do in your personal situation and
appropriate to your cultural norm. Ask the
energies that emanate from the sun that support
all life on earth to “jumpstart” your body
energy. How long and how often to do this?
There is not one definitive answer. Some say
solar exposure these days is dangerous; how
much is too much? A few minutes? An hour?
You will have to judge that for yourself. Be
conscious not to overdo, in discovering your
own personal body limit for how much is
enough and how much is too much. Start
slowly. Whatever solar exposure you feel
comfortable with, you will be increasing your
body’s vitamin D production, and letting in at
least a bit of the far infrared.
Dr. Staninger reports that the optimal
daily exposure time for a sun bath for the
purpose of far infrared body stimulation would
be 45 to 60 minutes. Repeat: start with a
limited exposure and listen to your body
response as to what your body can handle. It is
better to get too little than to cause
burning/dehydration. And of course you are
going to need to choose your times for outdoor
exposure with awareness as to air quality; there
may be times in radiation emergencies when it
is best to limit exposure to air flows with high
toxic particulate. In this emerging situation, all
we can say here is: Please learn what you can
about air quality in your area from the sources
you trust to bring the most accurate picture to
the people.
Wisdom keepers from all over the world
throughout history have recommended giving
thanks and respect to the sun as the source of
energy that nourishes all life on earth.
Taking a sun bath is a good time for each
of us to find our own way to do that.
Many of us already know that radiation
can damage our genetic communications
systems. Because the fear of this consequence
is now so stirred up in the world, we felt we
should mention some facts that are relevant and
hopeful as we each have to deal with the impact
of unknown radiation exposure on our psyches.
We want you all to know that the leading
edge of science does now acknowledge that
damaged genes can self-repair. This is a real
human potential. It is now known that electrical
frequencies underlie and inform our genetic
communications systems. Under certain
conditions, where toxins have been flushed out
and vital nutrients are provided, and, most
especially, when compassion is in the heart
producing peaceful and relaxed states of
consciousness, electrical frequencies can be
generated within ourselves that access our deep
memory of how to recreate healthy growth
patterns. This applies to all living things.
Genetic repair after radiation damage is
a real human potential. Please do your part to
know this is a human possibility and pray with
us that this possibility is activated in the
imagination and genetic memory of those who
ask for it.
These are the tangible methods and tools
that were identified, that could be expressed in
basic terms and applied by people who are

KAO KALA, Thailand—Everybody
from fund managers to jet-setting diplomats is
talking about the world's center of gravity
shifting to Asia. Now, extraterrestrials appear to
be taking notice, too.
Trackers in Colorado at the Mutual UFO
Network, one of the oldest unidentified-flying-
object research organizations in this world, say
that since the slump of the Western banking
system in 2008, UFO sightings among Asia's
fast-growing economies have accelerated.
Suspicious UFOs have shut down airports in
China, buzzed resorts in Borneo and lit up the
night sky in Myanmar.
All of that is dealing a fresh blow to the
prestige of the U.S., which, as the DreamWorks
animated movie "Monsters vs. Aliens"
observed, "is the only country aliens ever seem
to visit."
"It's not surprising, really," says
Debhanom Muangman, a 75-year-old Harvard-
educated physician and one of Thailand's
leading UFO investigators. "Aliens have been
coming to Asia for decades, but now they sense
a change. This is where the progressive
countries are, so they are coming here much
more often now."
Extraterrestrials first hit the public
imagination in a big way in Thailand in 2006,
when villagers in the rural northeast found
discarded fever-cooling gel packs and mistook
them for visitors from outer space. One woman
told local newspapers she cooked a gel pack and
served it to her children in the hope that it would
make them more intelligent.
In Nakhon Sawan province, 160 miles
north of Bangkok, scores of UFO enthusiasts
now regularly camp out on a hill known as Kao
Kala, which they regard as a kind of Stargate to
another dimension. It's a diverse group,
including medical students, interior decorators
and a soap-opera actor who goes by the name
Pete.
On a recent evening, devotees wearing
necklaces depicting alien portraits trooped to
the top of the hill to harness extraterrestrial
energy to treat illnesses by laying on hands, or
to meditate before a statue of Buddha.
Periodically, people jumped up with video
cameras when planes or other, less obvious,
light sources appeared before settling in for a
night of chanting.
"The aliens have been coming here to
Kao Kala for at least 10 years," said Dusadee
Prasomsuk, 39 years old. "When we meditate
we can understand what they're trying to tell
us—we feel it through our bodies and we
understand."
Regardless of whether aliens exist, the
slew of sightings is providing yet another
measurement of how the world is changing as
Asia becomes wealthier and more successful.
Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the
SETI Institute in California, uses radio
telescopes and other advanced equipment to
scour the universe for signs of intelligent life.
He reckons the growth of Asia's economies is
one of the primary factors contributing to more
and more UFO sightings.
"I ascribe this simply to two things," Mr.
Shostak says. "The greater reach of TV, which
means that more people have seen television
specials dealing with UFOs, and the widespread
availability of the Internet, which allows people
who would formerly describe strange sightings
to their neighbors to now send me an email."
Dr. Debhanom in Thailand, for instance,
says he saw his first UFO in New Hampshire
when he was training to become a doctor in the
1950s. When Dr. Debhanom returned to
Thailand he heard about many more sightings as
the country went through its economic boom of
the 1980s and 1990s and media networks
expanded to include cable TV and, more
recently, the Internet.
Still, these aren't American-style alien
encounters. The aliens that Thai researchers say
they have encountered bear little resemblance to
the typical creatures depicted in Hollywood
films, which have included resource-grabbing
monsters or eerily calm, environmentally
friendly creatures.
The aliens that allegedly visit Southeast
Asia tend to have a rather different view of the
universe, following Buddhist precepts such as
reincarnation and greeting one another by
cupping their hands together in the shape of a
lotus flower.
After years of trying, Dr. Debhanom
says he finally made contact with bona fide
aliens one morning at 2 a.m. in 1996.
Surprisingly, he recalls, they called him on the
phone, using an ordinary land line.
"They said they were from Mars and spoke a
strange version of Thai. They also said not to
worry about the phone bill," Dr. Debhanom
recalls.
Since then, he reports that aliens often
have contacted him with warnings about where
they will appear, enabling Dr. Debhanom and
other researchers to report a series of UFO
sightings. Their conclusions: Aliens are
typically slightly taller than humans,
communicate telepathically and sometimes are
accompanied by pets resembling hairless dogs.
One alien visitor calling itself "Kai"—
the Thai word for chicken—often visits to warn
of natural disasters such as the 2004 Indian
Ocean tsunami or political upheavals that could
affect Thailand's economic progress, Dr.
Debhanom says. Kai previously presented
himself as Eddie to U.S. authorities at Area 51,
the famously secretive U.S. military base in
Nevada, while he told officials in the former
Soviet Union to call him Ivan, Dr. Debhanom
says.
Other researchers have gone further.
Several members of the Chansamnuen family in
Nakhon Sawan province say they have managed
to communicate with the aliens telepathically. It
began with Cherd Chansamnuen, an army
sergeant, who used to go into a trance and then
begin speaking and issuing commands in a
strangely altered voice.
"The air began crackling," says
Thanyasak Patamatanasun, 39 years old, a
member of the Kao Kala group who once
attended one of Sgt. Cherd's attempts to
communicate with extraterrestrial beings.
"Then an alien voice spoke to us through Sgt.
Cherd and told us he was there to help human
beings reach the next level of development."
Sgt. Cherd has since died, and his
mission is now pursued by his three daughters.
One of them, Wassana Chansamnuen, a 38-
year-old nurse, says she, too, is able to enter a
trance and receive messages from otherworldly
entities.
Says Ms. Wassana: "Everybody can
develop this ability."

They predicted that a UFO would appear
in the skies over Russia on Wednesday night —
and sure enough, they were right. In this case,
however, "they" weren't flying-saucer fans or
doomsday soothsayers, but rather military space
experts who knew that the scheduled launch of
Russia's Meridian 4 military communication
satellite would put on a show.
The Soyuz rocket's successful liftoff
from northern Russia's Plesetsk Cosmodrome
was followed by the separation of strap-on
boosters and the Fregat upper stage, producing
the magnificent light show you can see in the
Russia Today video above. In another YouTube
video, observers marvel at the scene and ask
"What's that!?" (in Russian). More videos can

It's reminiscent of the UFO flap that
followed the sighting of a bright spiral in the

The ‘X’ Zone with Rob Mc Connell....
Yesterday was a busy day for me. First,
I prepared for my much awaited hour long radio
interview with Mr. Rob Mc Connell's Show, the
'X Zone. While doing that interview, he asked
quite a few questions about that life I had as a
professional bounty hunter, about my books,
what makes a man like myself, coming from a
law enforcement background, go into the life of
a hunter of men. All fair questions and ones that
required my thought before responding to each.
As I said on the show, I was about to
retire from my career in law enforcement and
had no real idea what I would do next, still at the
young age of 42. But, that question got
answered in a way I hadn't expected at all that
day about two weeks prior to that last day with
my department. A couple of friends of mine,
federal defense lawyers I knew that had a small
law firm, contacted me about a problem they
had. They had bailed out a client they had on
federal charges that had fled the country
(U.S.A.). The bad part was that the judge that
had that case was now wanting them to produce
either the fugitve defendant, or the $1 million
dollars in bail. They had neither. In the United
States at the federal level of justice you, the one
who bailed someone out, can't make a deal with
the court for a lesser bail payment, and walk
away from it with just the loss of those funds
like a county level bondsman can. Here, you
have to pay up the full amount of bail set or face
the very charges that the defendant was on over
it. It gets very serious. They were a small firm
and had taken the case in the first place for the
publicity they hoped to gain by defending this
roach of a client. Well, I got with the local office
of the F.B.I. who had the fugitive warrant on
this fugitive, and his criminal history file. Over
that next two weeks, I studied up on this guy,
and learned all I could about him before actually
committing myself to the case. Once officially
retired, the rest, as they say, is history.
It was that very love I had for the crimial
justice system and having apprehended quite a
few bad guys and girls prior to that case that just
naturally led me into fugitive recovery, or more
commonly called, bounty hunting. Now you
know why I did that work. It was, and still is,
my passion. Even through all the things one
goes through to catch your prey, it is the
satisfaction of knowing you have served justice
at the case's conclusion.
Now, you would ask, why aren't you still
doing it? The answer is that it's a young man's
game. A deadly game for all its players. I am
now too old, and the cases tend to take their toll
on you over time, physically, mentally, and
spirtitually. Those that do this for a living know
of what I speak. It is, by far, the most dangerous
way to make a living that I know of. Yet bounty
hunting has been around for centuries with little
notice at all to anyone, except by those
governments that have a criminal flee their
homeland for foreign soil, and to safe harbor
from the crimes they committed back home.
Almost since time began bounty hunters have
been around. In this line of work you must be a
professional at weapons, martial arts, and
capable of killing without little thought to it.
Because that's very much apart of what you
have to do to survive, make your apprehension,
and return with that fugitive for justice sake.

HISTORY OF BOUNTY HUNTING:
Bounty hunting originated in England
hundreds of years ago. Back in the 13th century,
bail was a person, not an amount of money. An
individual was designated custodian of the
accused, and if the accused did not return to face
his penalty, the custodian could be hanged in his
place. During colonial times, America relied
upon the bail system set up by the government
of England. In 1679, the British Parliament
passed the Habeas Corpus Act, which for the
first time guaranteed that an accused person
could be released from prison on monetary bail.
It stated:
... within two days after the party shall
be brought before them, the said lord chancellor
or lord keeper ... shall discharge the said
prisoner from his imprisonment, taking his or
their recognizance, with one or more surety or
sureties, in any sum according to their
discretions, having regard to the quality of the
prisoner and nature of the offense, for his or
their appearance in the court of the King's
bench the term following ...
This right was later written into the U.S.
Constitution. The Eighth Amendment to the
Constitution prohibited the setting of excessive
bail, and the Judiciary Act of 1789, which
established the U.S. judicial court system,
defined the terms for bailable offenses. Federal
bail law remained unchanged until the Bail
Reform Act of 1966, which allowed the prisoner
to be released with as little bail as possible to
secure his or her return for trial (although the
1984 Bail Reform Act allowed the courts to
hold accused persons without bail if they were
deemed too dangerous for release). []

The really extraordinary thing about this book is

that it tells the story of how one mother embarked on
her feverish course of involvement in the AIDS
community, in large part to help herself come to terms
with the possibility of her son's death. But all that
work really doesn't prepare her. She becomes
incredibly intimate with a series of strangers, yet she
and her son have more and more trouble talking about
HIS illness, which is the reason she is doing all this in
the first place. She becomes indispensable at the
bedsides of countless other people, but when Gary is
dying, she still feels helpless, disconnected and as if
she'd never set foot in an AIDS hospital room. What is
moving about this book is the fact that all this
preparation doesn't prepare, because NOTHING can
prepare her."

I was so very overwhelmed by this
compelling narrative of the scourge, AIDS
epidemic. I was reminded of the Bubonic
Plague and what people suffered in those
horrific years. What a wonderful and empathetic
soul the author is and so giving to others in
desperate need of love and care. The account of
the saddening travails of her own son, Gary,
brought me to tears. Perhaps only a mother can
feel and understand what those people were
(and are) going through and what looms in their
futures. This is truly an important true story. We
have much to learn from Ms. Wagman's wide
experiences with a variety of young people who
had one tragic thing in common -- a war with
AIDS. -

What could the magician David Blaine
have to do with the Pope? And what could either
of them have to do with alien powers?
Something very strange is likely to be
coming up in 2011 which should not only
explain the above connection, but prove it once
and for all. It may involve a huge international
diplomatic initiative, known to be under
development now but being largely kept from
the public. If and when it materialises it will be
front page news around the world.
But the story begins in 2003. On August
14th 2003 David Blaine’s home city of New
York had been struck by the biggest power cut
in history; a cut so massive that it had spread to
Detroit and up into Canada. Pictures of a
blacked out New York duly appeared on front
pages both sides of the Atlantic. Then, within a
few weeks of this, Blaine had travelled to
London where he was suspended above
London’s Tower Bridge in a Plexiglas box,
fasting for 44 days beginning September 5th.
Can this man Blaine cause power cuts?
Because a few days before his arrival London
had been struck August 28th by a huge,
inexplicable, and highly disruptive power cut.
This event also made international front page
news. London’s mayor Ken Livingstone said of
it: “We have never faced a crisis like this
before…it is an absolute disgrace.” Was Blaine
being stalked by power cuts, or was he stalking
them?
Or was it just simple coincidence? You
might think so until you get this next fact:
Blaine fasted 44 days and there were in all 8
massive, inexplicable power cuts also over 44
days! The two periods overlapped
symmetrically to create a 66 day span. No, no
you will say, that’s just not possible! New York,
Georgia, Helsinki, London, Kuala Lumpur,
Cancun, Sweden and ... what was that you said
about two magicians?... ROME. Yes, Rome was
the eighth and final power cut, also billed as the
biggest in history because by then it was. Fifty
six million inhabitants of Italy, the entire
population, were without power. And so was
Pope John Paul II at, for him, a most critical
time!
The aging John Paul had just organised
the most vital conclave of his career. Thirty-one
carefully selected bishops were to be elevated to
the rank of cardinal, ensuring the continuity of a
conservative policy-line for the Vatican in the
coming decades. Probably, Benedict XVI could
never have emerged on the world scene without
that conclave. But how did this ancient office
and modern power house of the papacy come to
exist?

Down through the ages, has a dark
secret about the Vatican been kept hidden from
the masses? Did Peter ever in fact visit Rome, or
was the progenitor of the popes’ an imposter?
One clue can be found in a legend concerning
the first pope. According to certain ancient
records, that pope or ‘father’ was a magician
imbued with the power of levitation. He
reportedly could lift himself into the air, as it
were by his bootlaces! Who else in today’s
world displays that power? And who in today’s
world is able to walk on water? You can see him
do both of these things on Youtube!
But in the early Church the man Simon
Magus had offered money to the Apostles for a
position of power. He too was a magician, but
that then begs this question: how does a long
dead character from the first century impact on
this year of 2011? Well he doesn’t himself, but
he types someone who probably will.
GIANT FIGURE OF EIGHT
The appearance of a giant figure of 8
over planet earth has been mentioned before in
this newspaper, and it is described in the 2010
book The Genesis Grid. In that book, endorsed
by independent academics, the events of 2003
are shown to be linked to a most critical incident
four years later. The timing was accurate to the
‘day and the hour’ according to the Bible’s own
calendar system. This was the incident, you
might say catastrophe, of the Northern Rock
bank run which precipitated worldwide
financial panic. That crisis is still shaking the
world’s economic system today, with the U.S.
threatened - just in recent days - with a credit

Yes, we know that kind of downgrade
happened to Japan recently with no apparent ill
effect. But the Yen is not the reserve currency in
which most global trade is conducted, and we
are still in the middle of what the Bank of
England described as ‘The greatest financial
crisis in history” - a description recently echoed
by Ben Bernanke of the Federal Reserve. And
remember: the European Central Bank is
arguably bankrupt, but must still bail out several
large nations who are also apparently bankrupt!
The wolf is still at the door. But, keep in mind
the main theme: the theme of both 2003 and
2007 is deception.
Down through the centuries we have had
a fraudulent Church and latterly a deceiving
financial industry, both heaping misery on
people and nations. But if the four year gap, a
time frame of incredible precision, meant
anything it would most likely be this: it is the
first loop of an eight year pattern, a pattern in
time. That means there should logically be a
fulfilment, a completion, of the pattern in 2011.
The requisite time is in the night following the
Bible’s Day of Trumpets of September 30th.

WHAT?
Will this event, you may ask, be
religious as in the case of the Pope’s disrupted
ordination ceremony, or economic like the
Northern Rock debacle? Well, maybe it will be
neither! But then these news items can be a
matter of presentation, because events are
frequently reported in such a way as to leave
many people clueless as to why they happened
(including newspaper editors), or who the real
parties are pulling strings behind the scenes.
The book The Genesis Grid has proved
mathematically that the Bible was inspired by
someone or something. It explains that the
powers behind the sixty-six books of the Bible
are alien to this world, but that they are
controlling events on Earth according to a time
table. Clearly, part of their agenda provides for
a secret partnership between the German ruling
class and the Vatican, traceable back in history
for at least as far as 1000 years. This is a highly
unfashionable observation. But it is still a fact
of history, not a conspiracy theory. Periodically
an event offers proof of this longstanding
unholy alliance: for example, the recognition of
Croatia as an independent state, triggering the
Balkans war. The international community
begged Germany not to do this, but they went
ahead with the agreement of the Vatican. The
two of them did this deed in defiance of world

After initial embarrassment that Osama
Bin Laden was hiding in the Pakistani
equivalent of a suburb of Sandhurst or West
Point, almost in sight of an important
intelligence service base, Pakistan's Prime
Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has called for the
criticism of his country to end.
That won't wash in the US. Indeed, the
speech hasn't been covered on the domestic TV
networks.
President Barack Obama says this is an
important moment when Pakistan and the
United States can decide to work more
effectively together.
Others would be more blunt. They see it
as a moment to keep up the media and
congressional criticism to force the Pakistani
government to flush out al-Qaeda supporters
within its own ranks after this humiliation.
From the very start of his presidency, Mr
Obama's administration has made it clear there
is no such thing as an Afghan strategy. First it
was an Af-Pak strategy. Then it became Pak-Af.
Whatever you call it, there is an
acknowledgement that Pakistan may be the
more important country in the fight against al-
Qaeda. Everyone in the know believes some
members of the government and particularly the
intelligence service are hand-in-glove with the
jihadists and must have known what Bin Laden
was up to.
Equally, they understand those members
of the Pakistani government who are hostile to
the extremists and fundamentalists are looking
over their shoulders at an electorate not keen on
those it sees as America's puppets.
Still, the US has given Pakistan $18bn in
aid since 2002. One veteran member of the US
Congress has said that before another dime is
sent, Pakistan has to decide whose side it's on.
Another has said there should be more strings
attached.
Aid probably won't be cut but it adds up
to more political pressure on Pakistan to come
up with the goods in future.
While this debate will go on, the Mr
Obama doesn't have to worry about some of the
concerns expressed in the rest of the world
about the legality or morality of killing Bin
Laden. It has hardly been raised by anyone here
in the US, and the president has said that anyone
who questions taking the al-Qaeda leader out
"needs their heads examined". []
Controversial Kingman
UFO Crash Site Sparks
New Interest
Anyone who's been even mildly interested in
the subject of UFOs knows about the Roswell,
N.M., UFO crash that took place in 1947. But
how many people are aware of the 1953 crash
that many say occurred in Kingman, Ariz., in
1953? It has acquired international recognition,
even if local residents have tried to forget about
it. It will be one of the main topics for
discussion at an upcoming four-day UFO
conference in Kingman scheduled to begin on
Friday.
In a recent interview with Michael
Schratt, a military aerospace historian,
conference coordinator Elizabeth Ritchie
learned that he has held numerous direct
conversations with people associated with the
Kingman crash. One of these people is Dr. Dan
Burisch, the high-level microbiologist who
allegedly had interactions with an
extraterrestrial recovered from the site.
Apparently there were three creatures,
known as "J-Rods," discovered. Referencing his
interviews with Burisch, Schratt said:
"He claims that in 1953 there was a
crash retrieval that was done just over the
border of Arizona. He was unable to give any
clear details about the vehicle but he was able to
confirm that three bodies were recovered, one
died on impact and he was still connected to his
bio containment device. One was sent to Los
Alamos national lab to a facility known as Y 11.
Another one was actually sent to Area 51 and
the craft was transported to S4 by a 40-tonne
transporter known as a dragon rack."
Arizona has been a "hotbed" of UFO
sightings for decades. The "Phoenix Lights"
event that took place in 1997 had a huge impact
on the country. Thousands of people witnessed
a massive triangular-shaped object with orange
lights on the evening of March 13 that has never
been satisfactorily explained.
The Kingman crash and other dynamic
topics of interest to the UFO community will be
presented by world-renowned experts,
including Don Schmitt, author of UFO Crash at
Roswell; Dr. Robert Farrell, author of Alien
Log II,The New World Order; and U.S. Air
Force retiree Len Kasten. The event promises to
be a spectacularly educational experience,
complete with a guided tour of the Kingman
crash sites. There's also the opportunity to have
an actual ET contact experience led by Charlie
Balogh of CSETI (Center for the Study of
Extraterrestrial Intelligence).
UFO battles captured on
video? Not likely, expert
says
A San Diego-based UFO researcher
named Ed Grimsley captured what one writer
called "multiple unidentified flying objects" that
were "saucer-shaped [and] appeared to hover in
the sky and change direction before moving out
of sight." The video was taken April 30 with
Grimsley's organization, Skywatch.
To the trained eye, however, this video
appears to show something much more banal
than a UFO battle.
According to his website, Grimsley "has
been seeing battles between unknown aircraft in
the night skies since he was a teenager,"
including two different types of spacecraft
"shooting it out using what appear to be laser
weapons." Furthermore, "he has seen hundreds
of these objects recently and using his five
military-grade night vision binoculars he has
invited many people to come to his areas and
view the objects in earth space shooting it out."
Grimsley believes that "alien or human-
like beings may very well be getting ready to
take control or evict us from plant Earth," and
has made it his mission to "show people what is
happening in earth space all the time. I want
people to start looking through night vision
binoculars and see the battles taking place
between aircraft including saucer-shaped

So what about the strange UFO lights
that Grimsley and his followers are seeing?
Contrary to the account above, the UFOs in the
video do not appear "saucer-shaped" at all, but
rather look like simple points of light in the
night sky.
Robert Sheaffer, a UFO investigator
with the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, told
Life's Little Mysteries that Grimsley's videos
show nothing extraordinary. In fact, the objects
are most likely artifacts of the very tool that
Grimsley uses to spot UFOs.
"Night-vision optics trade low
resolution for high sensitivity, and bright
objects spill out into a circle of light that in no
way reflects their actual angular size. So what
looks like a large object may well just be a point
of light," Sheaffer said. "Many of the objects
they're seeing are birds or bats, or faint satellites
in earth orbit. There's nothing in the sky that a
night vision device can see that a person can't
see with 10 x 50 binoculars — and with much
better detail. So their belief that they're seeing
entire fleets of UFOs up in the sky simply
means that they don't understand how these
devices work, and what they're seeing."
Indeed, the low video quality virtually
guarantees that a wide variety of normal things
(including bugs, planes, helicopters, meteors
and satellites) will appear as UFOs; some of the
lights seen in the video are obviously dust and
debris on the camera lens. If Grimsley is
correct, and spaceships are really engaging in
battles with lasers in the night sky above San
Diego, it's odd that no astronomers or pilots
have mentioned it.

buffs can view these exciting Star Wars-type
space battles. He offers models ranging from
$1,800 to $3,200; if this is a bit too pricey for
you, he offers a DVD of the UFOs for $24.95

raising money for his other pursuits, including
developing a revolutionary vehicle engine that
he claims will result in cars getting 100 miles
per gallon ... of water.

of brotherhood with humanity. In fleeing the
tyranny of their former European kings by
seeking a land of freedom, the new Americans
became like their former despotic kings by
limiting the liberties and freedoms of humans in
their new nation. The American country would
later alter the major systems of the culture and
dilute the original concepts of education,
religion, politics, economics, and entertainment
to artificial forms with restricted participation
by non European-Americans. In the alteration
of the secret fraternities, the early Americans
lost the meaning of life according to the wisdom
that had spread throughout the ancient world.
Instead of acting like Osirus by living the truth,
the early patriarchs acted like Set, the assassin
of Osirus and destroyer or truth.”
His chapters on “Turning the Americas
Upside Down,” “Let Wisdom Rein,” ”Sins of
the Founding Fathers” together are worth the
price of the book. Rarely has the encounter
between Indigenous people of the Americas and
Europeans been described from a vantage point
considering morality and wisdom as significant
parts of the story - not just the great
conquistadors, pioneers, homesteaders,

Similarly, Crowley’s challenges mainstream
views of American history and culture with an
eloquent explanation and analysis of why
America has not lived up to the ideals on which
it was founded.

have filmed strange lights hovering over Lake
Erie, claiming that UFOs are visiting our dear

time, The Man explains away the phenomenon
by saying the "UFOs" are really just planes.
Next they'll tell us that Dick Goddard is actually
human. How gullible do they think we are?
Anyway, noted UFO enthusiast Michael
Lee Hill uploaded new video recently that
showed even more incontrovertible proof that
aliens prefer damp, chilly weather for their
Earthly visits. The proof: there were different
color lights this time! Fox 8 was on the story,
even landing an interview with Hill where he
says the aliens know he's there filming.
Fox 8 really went all-out with those
special effects to get Mark Zinni to disappear,
no? Bravo.
Unfortunately, it turns out it wasn't
aliens but simply lights from near Canada that
are only visible to Ohioans under the most
specific of circumstances. (Sure, man, sure.)
The Coast Guard contacted the
Canadian Coast Guard and confirmed with them
that they have multiple T.V. and radio towers
along their shore directly across Lake Erie from
where the lights were seen as well as a windmill
farm.
The conditions for people here to see
straight across to the Canadian border has to be
just perfect, and it appears that is what happened
last night.
The Coast Guard said they have had the
same thing happen in the past, usually around
this time of year.
Shocking that The Man has another
explanation. We heartily recommend you don't
remove tinfoil hat until further notice.
UFO 'hotspot' apologises
for alcohol breach

The owner of a remote Northern
Territory store has apologised for breaching his
liquor licence.
Wycliffe Well proclaims itself as
Australia's UFO hotspot.
But last November, the only thing
unidentified in the area were two undercover
Department of Justice inspectors.
They were there to see if the Wycliffe
Well store was meeting its liquor licence
obligations.
The inspectors were each sold two six-
packs of beer.
This was in direct contravention of the
store's licence to only sell a maximum of one
six-pack per person per day.
The alcohol sales register kept by the
store was also shown to include customer names
like Charlie Brown, Geelong Cats and Johnny
Rotten.
The licensing commission stopped short
of suspending the liquor licence and ordered the
store to improve its record keeping.

"The Crafts"

PINE BUSH – Something is going on,
and we have very little idea of what it is. That,
perhaps, is the core mystery of the UFO
phenomenon.
While there have been reports of lights
and objects in the sky throughout recorded
history, the modern era has brought a vast
increase in the phenomenon, beginning with
Ken Arnold's 1947 sighting of "Flying Saucers"
near Mt. Rainier, Washington. Through the
Atomic Age of the 1950s, to the 60s and
beyond, odd flying phenomena were reported
all over the US and the world beyond. In
addition, people reported meeting alien
creatures, and even being abducted by them,
experimented on and then returned to normal
life.
Skeptics have always had fun with all of
this, and skepticism survives, because, at least
so far, no aliens or alien craft have been
captured and displayed to the hungry lenses of
global media.
However, delve for a while into
sightings, photographs and video recordings on
YouTube and you come away scratching your
head. Only so many things can be classified as
birds, or other airplanes, or freakish weather
phenomena. None of which describes what
twelve airport employees saw hovering over
Gate 17 at O'Hare Airport on November 7,
2006.
Pine Bush, then a very small place,
became famous in the mid-1980s as sighting
after sighting was reported of weird visual
phenomena. Many sightings came from the
West Searsville area, and particularly from the
old Jewish Cemetery on Route 52.
In 1991, Ellen Crystal, published "Silent
Invasion," which documented her eleven year
investigation into the Pine Bush UFOs. In
addition to lights in the sky, Pine Bush produced
strange underground rumblngs and sightings of
alien figures, even alien animals. For a while in
the late 80s, going "UFO-ing" in Pine Bush
became a popular pastime and Pine Bush's
legend spread wide and far in the community of
UFO believers, observers and non-believers.
Several books have detailed the odd events in
Pine Bush, including "The Pine Bush
Phenomenon" by Vincent Polise, and "Night
Siege" by Dr. J. Allen Hynek and Phillip
Imbrogno, which covered the wider Hudson
Valley sightings phenomena.
Literally hundreds of local residents,
including police and firefighters, have reported
strange and inexplicable occurrences. Many
have reported the sound of mechanical drilling
in the woods at night. Aircraft that seem to float
silently through the trees in the darkness are
another signature phenomenon from Pine Bush.
In 1993, the United Friends Observers
Society was established by local area residents.
It began as a research group, but morphed into
more of a support group as more and more
people came forward with sightings and reports
of being abducted. Bill Wiand, described as
"facilitator" of the society, notes that "Groups of
people have experienced the same thing at the
same time; for instance, one occurrence was
when several residents woke up with wet,
muddy feet."
Riding in tandem with our uneasy sense
of the inexplicable involving UFOs, is the
feeling that governments, lead by the US
Federal Government, know much more about
all this than they care to reveal. From the
famous Roswell, New Mexico incident to others
too numerous to go into here, governments
around the world have dismissed or deflected
sightings and claims.
Today, people who study UFOs are
divided into three primary groups, when it
comes to their explanations.
First, those who believe firmly that the
phenomena involved alien beings from other
star systems.
the human mind, perhaps summoning up deep
ancestral memories.
Third, a growing faction that thinks the
"crafts" and assorted phenomena are the result
of time travel and/or travel from another
universe that co-exists with ours within the
multi-verse.
Cosmological theories increasingly
press the idea that the universe we see, with 200
billion galaxies, is but one universe in a much
vaster entity encompassing millions, or billions
of other universes, with varying physical laws,
sizes and dimensional foundations.
Anything's possible, after all, and the
UFO sightings keep coming in all shapes, sizes,
speeds, colors, sounds and mysteries.

Business owners in Roswell are reacting
to news that plans for a brand new multi-million
dollar UFO Museum have crashed.
Officials at the world famous
International UFO Museum and Research
Center were hoping to eventually move into a
massive, $25 million dollar complex creating a
destination for visitors from around the world.
“This last little hurtle tripped us a bit so
we are regrouping and going to wait and put
things on hold for a while,” said museum
director Julie Schuster.
But as mysterious as the original
Roswell UFO incident in 1947, officials will not
say why the building, which was expected to be
partially built by this year, has now been
postponed indefinitely.
“I can’t say why or what, I won’t go into
detail about it, but it was something totally
beyond our control and totally a surprise,” said
Schuster.
For business owners who decided to set
up shop next to what was advertised as the
future home of the Museum, the news is hard to
swallow.
“One of the main reasons [for choosing
our location] was to make sure the UFO
Museum was right across the street from us,”
said Red Brick Pizza co-owner Neil Bhakta. “It
was going to be a huge impact for us and for the
community as a whole.”
Red Brick Pizza opened just a few
months ago and the co-owner says with a new
business he knows how hard it is to expand in
this economy.
“I hope they get the funding or
something drastic happens that we eventually
open that up,” explained Bhakta.
A recent economic impact study showed
the Museum in its current location pumps an
estimated $57 million dollars into the State’s
economy and draws more than 150,000 visitors
each year.
UFOs and Aviation -
A Closer Look
On the evening of October 21st, 1978, a
20-year-old pilot named Frederick Valentich left
Melbourne in a Cessna 182L bound for King
Island, sitting in the middle of the Bass Strait
south of Australia. Visibility was fine and the
wind was blowing easy.
Shortly after, he contacted Melbourne
air traffic control and said that an aircraft was
following him about 1000 feet above—it had
unusual features and was moving very
quickly—and he could not identify it very well.
He also said his engine was running rough at
times.
Later he said the strange craft was
coming at him from another direction. He began
to feel the pilot was playing around with him.
Melbourne ATC asked him to identify it. His
response was that it was travelling too fast but it
had a shiny metal surface with a green light on
it. Then he said the craft was coming at him
from another direction. He reported more
engine problems.
Then silence.
Within a few seconds he reported in,
“That strange aircraft is hovering on top of me
again. It is hovering and it's not an aircraft!”
This was followed by strange metallic scraping
noises.
Frederick Valentich and his Cessna
182L were never seen again.
Emergency flights combed the area but
not one little trace of the plane was ever found.
Some said it crashed into the Strait. But that
model Cessna was equipped with a beacon that
would have clicked on automatically on
crashing. Also, it was designed to float on water.
Many possible scenarios surround the
Valentich case. Did he stage an elaborate
suicide? Was he downed by drug smugglers in
the area?
Or was an entire airplane and its pilot
abducted by extra-terrestrials?
Pilots are Credible Witnesses
UFO’s have been reported by pilots for
years. Many UFOlogists point out that pilots are
some of the most credible witnesses supporting
the position that UFO’s exist. In the 1979
documentary “UFO’s Are Real” prominent
UFO researcher Dr. Richard Haines said that
due to the fact that pilots have good eyesight
and trained skills of observation, their testimony
of repeated sightings over the years cannot be
ignored.
“We are not dealing with mental
projections or hallucinations on the part of the
witness, but with the real physical
phenomenon,” he said.
He is not talking about a few random
occurrences. The evidence is deep:
• Ray Bowyer, an Aurigny Airlines
captain, had a 15 minute encounter while flying
a commercial flight. He described two objects
following his plane: flattened disk shapes with
brilliant yellow light coming from within. He
estimated them to be one mile across. Many
passengers saw them as well.
• Kenneth Arnold, a private pilot and
businessman, was flying over Washington’s
Cascade Mountains in 1947 when he spotted
nine crescent shaped, silvery objects near Mr.
Rainier. They were skimming along, dipping
“like a saucer would if you skipped it across
water.” Ever since then we’ve called UFOs
flying saucers.
• In 1986, a Japan Air Lines flight en
route from Iceland to Anchorage, Alaska
encountered white and yellow lights darting in
and around the airplane. Later the flight crew
observed a giant silhouette of what appeared to
be a mothership. Before they could get
confirmation from nearby airplanes, the ship
was gone.
UFOEvidence.org reports that there are
more than 3,500 documented sightings of
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena by commercial,
civilian and military pilots. The sightings date
from the very first days of flight right through to
today.
Most People Believe in UFO’s
Are they seeing things? Research
indicates most people believe we are not alone.

• A 2007 poll by the Exopolitics Institute
in Hawaii found that 85% of respondents
“believe that extraterrestrial civilizations are
visiting the earth.”
•In a 2002 Roper Poll, 56% of
Americans agreed that UFO’s are real and 48%
believe UFO’s have visited Earth in some form.
• A Canadian poll found 78% of
Canadians believe that life exists somewhere
else in our universe.
• 48% of the respondents in a 1996
Newsweek poll said they thought that UFO’s
were real.
Did you know that every year thousands
and thousands of UFO sightings are reported?
Studies show that about a third of the populace
believes that at least a portion of the sightings
can be attributed to extraterrestrial spacecraft.
But are aliens real? Seth Shostack, a
senior astronomer at the SETI Inst. is doubtful.
He writes in the Huffington Post: “It's hardly
likely to amaze you, but I'm skeptical. I don't
think the evidence laid on the table as proof of
extraterrestrial visitation is compelling, and I
certainly don't buy the argument that better
evidence (in fact, all the really good evidence)
has somehow been collected by the
governments of the world and stacked up in
secret storage lockers.”
MFO’s: Man-Made Flying Objects
There’s something else. Unidentified
Flying Objects are just that: unidentified flying
objects—they can be anything. Wired Magazine
reported on the dizzying array of stuff the U.S.
has in the air that could be mistaken as
extraterrestrials checking us out up close and
personal.

football fields, many UFOs might in fact be

years the project was scrapped.
• The Honeywell T-Hawk “Flying Beer
Can” mini-drone hovers in the air performing
reconnaissance for the Army.
• The Northrop Grumman SHIELD
Helicarrier is a huge floating data center. The
length of a football field and seven stories tall,
it carries 2500 pounds of data sensors and
intelligence gathering equipment.
• The Voltron drone hangs in the air for
5 years! Running on solar power, it is one of
several proposals for a future project of
DARPA, the Pentagon’s research branch.
• In the 1930’s, the Navy commissioned
a prototype airplane nick-named “The Flying
Flapjack.” It looked like a flattish flying saucer
with two giant propellers. It could climb to 5000
feet and specialized in slow speed flying.

With all that hardware from the U.S.
military floating around over the years, it’s easy
to see how some of it could be mistaken for a
UFO. And that’s just the American stuff. Add in
Russian (and now Chinese) flying metal and
you have some shiny objects distracting pilots.
Blackhawk Up
It’s hard not to believe a UFO has
intelligent life when it almost knocks you out of
the sky. That’s what happened to Lt. Colonel
Lawrence Coyne and his helicopter crew. They
were flying over Mansfield, Ohio in 1973 when
they encountered a large red object which
moved toward them rapidly. Lt. Coyne said later
it looked like a “locked-on missile.”
He cut the power and put the chopper in
a steep dive to avoid impact. A green light
appeared on the underside of the object. Despite
trying to drop, the helicopter was pulled upward
around 2000 feet higher than its original
position. Eventually, it let go.
“It was almost a mid-air collision with
what we consider to be a UFO,” said Dr. Coyne.
He said the object had a high degree of
technology, was composed of a structure and
design that we do not have--it had no stabilizers,
no landing gear or any visible source of
propulsion.
Lt. Coyne felt so strongly about this
experience he joined a delegation to the United
Nations to encourage the organization to look
further into the topic of UFO’s. However, many
pilots are not so open. Many will not even report
a sighting.
Code of Silence
Kenneth Arnold grew weary of the
controversy around his sighting. He stated that
if he ever saw anything like it again, he
wouldn’t say a word. In one 1940’s era survey,
an Air Force pilot said that he wouldn’t report a
UFO sighting even if it was flying wing-tip to
wing-tip with him.
Nick Pope, who used to run the UFO
project for Britain, said pilots often won’t report
cases because they don’t know how to describe
it, or fear it could end their career, he told Coast
to Coast radio. He said there are 200-300 UFO
reports every year and that 80% could be easily
explained, 15% had insufficient data and the
rest were “extremely interesting.”
Maybe you loosen up after retirement
from the service. That might explain the press
conference called in September 2010 by 7
retired Air Force officers. Held at the National
Press
Club in Washington, D.C., the officers
related that they had seen UFO’s make U.S.
nuclear systems “temporarily inoperable”
during the cold war.
Robert Hastings, a well-known UFO
researcher, put together the event. "The
possession and threatened use of nuclear
weapons potentially threatens the human race
and the integrity of the planetary bargain." said
UFO’s and Aviation
Hastings (Wired 9/10).
Although Hastings did not serve in the
military, he enlisted the help of Robert Salas,
retired Air Force launch officer. Together they
tracked down a cadre of airmen who had very
similar stories, taking place from 1963 to 1980:
alien ships of various shapes (conical, spherical,
disc-shaped) appeared to them at U.S. nuclear
missile sites. The common theme? When the
aliens got close, all the missiles stopped
reacting to directions from the airmen.
Robert Jamison claimed 10 of his
missiles “suddenly went off-line” in 1967 at
Malmstrom Air Force base in Montana. This
took place as stories circulated of aliens visiting
the area. A security guard reported that two
small red lights in the distance appeared and
began to close in on them.
Hastings was philosophical about the
news conference. “I don’t think humankind is
in jeopardy from whoever they are or whatever
they are, except that we will have our minds
expanded,” he said. “There will be a paradigm
shift. Traditional institutions such as religions,
governments, other social institutions may be
threatened by what is coming. That is just the
logical consequence of what is about to occur.”
Extra-Terrestrials No Threat
Seth Shostack says that he has no
problem if you believe in UFO’s and
extraterrestrials. In his view, even if they are
real we may not be in much danger:
“…I'm not here to argue with you. I'd
like to make a different point -- one that
somehow seems to have escaped notice in the
seemingly endless debate about UFOs. Namely,
if the aliens are here, you have to admit
something remarkable: They're about as
harmless as kittens on Xanax.
Consider: The premise is that Earth is
being visited. But are these invaders a mortal
threat? You can read occasional claims that
aliens are mutilating our cattle (a decidedly
unwelcome pastime, if true), but homicide
seems to be off limits for ET. They don't kill
people. Your chances of being snuffed by a
moose are higher.”
It’s food for thought. Aliens have done
more damage to the Earth in Hollywood movies
than anything in real life. It begs the question.
Why? Maybe they are just toying with us. It
could be that Earth is simply a backwater to
them, a mud puddle in the great neighborhood
of the galaxy, a down-and-out block that gives
them license to fly in, flash some lights, honk
the horn and speed away, like 21st century
punks.
One thing is for sure. If a pilot sees a
UFO, the chances are good he will not report it.
Except to another pilot.
In an on-line forum recently a
government document was discussed—it said
that pilots could not share any information
regarding UFO’s or face a $10,000 fine. One
forum poster confided that he felt around 90%
of pilots had some type of experience with
UFO’s but chose not to speak about it.
Another poster may have summed it up
best: “I think that any person who cannot
comprehend that the vastness of space is
teeming with different forms of life is truly
living with their head in the sand. 200 years ago,
we had zero technology, today it's everywhere.
To expect that other life in the billions of years
past have no technology, or ability to travel, is
naive at best.”
So, are UFOs real?
Several studies have concluded that the
majority of UFOs are observations of some real
but common and normal objects: astronomical
objects such as meteors; balloons, aircraft,
nacreous clouds or noctilucent clouds. A small
fraction of the UFOs sightings have been
reported to be hoaxes. Nevertheless, with these
incorrect reports excluded, a considerable
percentage of the UFO sightings and reports
remain unexplained – and these are indeed
‘unidentified’ flying objects in the strict sense of
the word.

A paradox was revealed during a recent
poll of the Russians. In spite of the fact that
approximately 70 percent of the country's
population call themselves believers, only 26
percent believe that life after death is possible.
The beliefs of the Russians are generally
contradictory: Russians bring Easter cakes to
church to "make them holy" but at the same
time are afraid of black cats and broken mirrors.
"Public opinion" fund decided to poll
the Russians on the possibility of resurrection
after death. The fund found out that despite the
fact that 59 percent of the citizens consider
themselves Orthodox, and ten percent say that
they belong to other denominations, only 26
percent believe in an afterlife.
For 54 percent resurrection is no more
than a myth. The majority of those who do not
believe in the afterlife are represented by rural
residents, men, students and seniors.
Another interesting fact is those who do
believe in the afterlife are people with an
income of over 30,000 rubles a month,
entrepreneurs and executives. Surprisingly,
there were more of those who believed in
eternal life among the businessmen than among
those who call themselves Orthodox Christians:
43 percent versus 31.
According to the numerous surveys and
studies, human faith is generally a collection of
paradoxes and even absurdities. Russians who
call themselves Orthodox Christians consider it
their duty to wear a cross, but at the same time
do not shy away from horoscopes and psychics'
services. A growing number of advertisement
promising "to return the beloved one" and
"ward off a competitor" indicate a growing
demand.
Generally in the recent years Russians
have become much more skeptical. Horoscopes,
prophetic dreams and professional astrologers
are still popular among the population, but to a
much lesser extent. Alien life for the majority of
the Russians is as much a fairy tale as the life
after death. Possibility of the existence of
extraterrestrial civilizations is denied by 58
percent of Russians.
However, the skepticism of the Russian
people does not apply to every day
superstitions. Little green creatures and life
after death seem to be a myth to many, while
troubles promised by a meeting with a black cat,
a broken mirror or spilt salt are quite real for the
most. The Russians believe that spitting over the
left shoulder and knocking on wood is much
more effective than a prayer or a call to the
spirits.
It is worth mentioning that the
representatives of the Church are not surprised
by such data. Priests say that identifying
themselves as Orthodox, people are not talking
about religion, but, rather, the national and
family tradition and culture. This means that
many Russians do not believe in God, but call
themselves Orthodox.
In fact, for many Russians a visit to a
church during holidays or baptizing children is
the same thing as knocking on wood or avoiding
"jinxing," i.e., and old tradition designed to
ward off trouble.
However, Russians are not the only ones
that have such a strange attitude to religion. For
example, 43 percent of Americans attend
religious ceremonies every week, but this does
not prevent 38 percent of the U.S. adults from
believing in the existence of aliens, 33 percent
believing in Bigfoot, and 37 percent - in ghosts.
Of these, 23 percent are convinced that ghosts
are their dead relatives or friends, while 20
percent said they personally met with the spirits
of the dead.
Experts, however, argue that there is no
paradox here. "Traditional" (in moderation)
religion does not interfere with the belief in the
paranormal, but quite the contrary: being open
to the faith into the unknown, people are not so
steadfast in their religious beliefs that reject the
mysterious events in principle.
In other words, people who admit the
existence of things unexplained from the
viewpoint of science can be (or call themselves)
Christians (Muslims, Jews), and with the same
sincerity believe that aliens have visited Earth a
number of times. An individual open to the faith
in a higher intelligence, in principle can believe
in some seemingly conflicting things.
Traditional religions are traditional because
people transfer their commitment to a particular
confession from generation to generation,
observing certain rituals as a family. But it is
often nothing more than a tribute to the national
culture, rather than a sincere belief and
commitment to a wholly-owned church dogma.

that Adolf Hitler's fantasy about creating a fleet
of Nazi UFOs, capable of destroying London
and New York, was in fact a reality.
The order came as Hitler's armies

tunnels buried under the Jonas Valley in
Thuringia, central Germany.

Kammler, groups of slave labourers worked to
bring the Fuhrer's fantasies into existence.
German science mag PM revealed how
"advanced" the programme was as scientists
toiled in secret factories to produce the "wonder
weapon" to win the war.
The magazine quoted eyewitnesses who
saw a flying saucer marked with the German
Iron Cross flying low over the Thames in 1944.
"America also treated the existence of
the weapons seriously. Apparently that machine
was capable on its maiden flight of travelling
2,000km," the Sun quoted it as saying.
"The Germans had destroyed much of
the paperwork of their activities but there are
numerous hints that it did indeed exist," it
added.
The Nazi UFO project was driven by
engineers Rudolf Schriever and Otto
Habermohl and was based in Prague between
1941 and 1943.
Initially a Luftwaffe project, it
eventually fell under the control of armaments
minister Albert Speer before being taken over
once again in 1944 by Kammler.
Joseph Andreas Epp, an engineer who
served as a consultant to the Schriever-
Habermohl project, claimed 15 prototypes were
built.

Will this Congress boldly go where no
Congress has really gone before? Probably not.
But should it be paying more attention to what's
in space?
According to at least one professor, the
answer is yes. University of Missouri-Columbia
psychologist and adjunct professor of peace
studies Bill Wickersham is demanding, with
backing of a report written 12 years ago, that
Congress hold hearings on UFOs, according to
AOL News.
"When I found the COMETA Report, I
had a lot of friends in veterans' organizations --
I'm in Veterans for Peace," Wickersham told
AOL News. "All of these people hold military
folks in very high regard, but most of them
won't pay any attention to UFOs, so I thought it
would be a good idea to use the military angle
[to call for hearings]."
In 1999, a committee in France, made up
of retired generals, scientists and space experts,
created the report, which studied hundreds of
worldwide UFO sightings. The report decided
that some UFO cases possibly had an
otherworldly source.
This wouldn't be the first time Congress
held hearings. In the '60s, then-congressman
Gerald Ford asked for hearings after a rash of
sightings in his native Michigan. The hearings
were held and a report was quickly issued
denying extraterrestrial sightings. It's probably a
longshot for Congress to take up UFO hearings,
Wickersham said.
"Look at what happened to [2008 Ohio
Democratic presidential candidate] Dennis
Kucinich. The giggle factor, the ridicule, the
ignorance, the apathy, denial -- all these things
that surround this issue. It takes a lot of guts for
a politician. Most politicians run from it."

JFK Sought UFO Files 10
Days Before His Death
A newly released letter shows that 10
days before his assassination, President John F.
Kennedy wrote to the head of the CIA
demanding to be shown highly confidential
documents about UFOs.
Author William Lester, who is
researching a new book about Kennedy, says the
CIA released the letter to him under the
Freedom of Information Act.
Kennedy's letter, dated Nov. 12, 1963,
has the subject line "Classification review of all
UFO intelligence files affecting National
Security," and asks for access to those files.
A second Kennedy letter released to
Lester, written on the same date, was sent to the
administrator of NASA and expressed a desire
for cooperation with the Soviet Union on
mutual outer space activities, according to
Britain's Daily Mail.
Lester told AOL News: "One of his
concerns was that a lot of these UFOs were
being seen over the Soviet Union, and he was
very concerned that the Soviets might
misinterpret these UFOs as U.S. aggression,
believing it was some of our technology.
"I think this is one of the reasons why he
wanted to get his hands on this information and
get it away from the jurisdiction of NASA so he
could say to the Soviets, 'Look, that's not us,
we're not doing it.'"
The Daily Mail pushes the envelope in
its coverage of the story, headlining it, "Was
JFK killed because of his interest in aliens?" But
AOL News acknowledges that the president's
interest in UFOs shortly before his death "is
likely to fuel conspiracy theories about his
assassination."
The story has already sparked renewed
interest in the so-called "burned memo" that a
UFO investigator claimed he received from an
unidentified CIA leaker in the 1990s.
According to the investigator, the leaker
said he worked for the CIA between 1960 and
1974 and pulled the document, marked Top
Secret, from a fire when the agency was burning
some sensitive files, according to the Daily
Mail.
The memo from the CIA director refers
to a group of military officials and scientists
allegedly appointed by President Harry Truman
to investigate the possible presence of aliens on
earth. It also refers to "Lancer," which was
Kennedy's Secret Service code name, and
states, "As you must know, Lancer has made
some inquiries regarding our activities, which
we cannot allow."

Surfaces

Video of what appears to be an alien
body recently found in Russia following
reports of UFOs last month has set off a
furor among UFO communities and in
the blogosphere.
The Daily Mail reported that "In the
frozen wastes of Siberia two walkers claim to
have found the body of an alien. On its side with
its mouth slightly agape, the slender, badly-
damage body lies half-buried in snow close to
Irkutsk, Russia. Video of the alien's corpse has
become a massive worldwide hit with hundreds
of thousands of followers after being posted on
the internet. The corpse of the badly-damaged
creature which resembles ET is two feet high.
Part of the right leg is missing and there are
deep holes for eyes and a mouth in a skull-like
head."
One of the men who allegedly found the
alien was quoted as saying, "We couldn't
believe it when we saw it. And what was spooky
is that there was no sign of the spaceship.
Perhaps that was taken away and the body
overlooked."
Having previously investigated (and
solved) many videos of unexplained
phenomena including UFOs and aliens, I was
asked by ABC News to provide an expert
analysis of the new video. I highlighted several
reasons why the video was suspicious,
including the fact that the two men can be heard
laughing at one point, and listed telltale signs
that the video was staged. I also explained why
the alien was unconvincing and described how
it could have been fabricated, concluding that
"there's probably a butcher shop somewhere
missing some pieces."
There's also a plausible reason why no
spacecraft is seen: it would have required much
more effort to fake. It's one thing to create a
two-foot alien body figure, but fashioning a
plausible spaceship that carried the poor little
alien from his extraterrestrial home to his snowy
Siberian tomb would have been far more
difficult.
My early analysis of a hoax proved
correct. The Siberian alien was created by two
Russian teens, Timur Hilall and Kirill Vlasov,
who confessed to the hoax after police in
Irkutsk, Siberia, investigated. The police also
found the “alien” figure hidden in one of the
teen’s bedrooms; it was made of several
materials, including butcher shop scraps.
This is only the latest of several UFO
and alien-related misidentifications and hoaxes
over the past six months. In November of last
year, a UFO or supposed "mystery missile" was
sighted off the coast of Los Angeles. Rumors
and myths circulated for weeks about the
strange contrail in the sky; it was later
determined to have been an ordinary airplane
contrail, from United Parcel Service Flight 902.
In January of this year a series of videos
showing what appeared to be a UFO hovering
over Jerusalem’s Dome of the Rock caused a
sensation among UFO buffs. Those videos were
determined by both skeptics and analysts from
the Mutual UFO Network to have been faked.
Then, earlier this month a 1950 FBI
memo was claimed to be proof that aliens and
saucers were recovered from a 1947 crash in
Roswell, New Mexico. Once again, skeptical
analysis showed that the "smoking gun"
evidence was related to a hoax; the FBI memo
was real, but it did not refer to Roswell but
instead to a UFO hoax in Aztec, New Mexico.
Of course for many people no amount of
evidence—whether presented by skeptics or
believers—will change their minds about
UFOs. For some, it's easier to believe that aliens
are among us than it is to believe that they could
be fooled.

of peace on earth.”
If the belief in an afterlife -- immediately after death -- is true, then both
the Bible and the Qur’an should fully confirm it in plain words. But what if
