Third Sunday of Easter
Too many families take too little time to talk about their faith. Try an Emmaus family journey. Talk
about Jesus and your faith on the ride to church. Or, make time this week to meet with a trusted friend
with whom you can talk and pray and even share a meal. Where two or more are gathered in His Name,
Jesus is present in their midst.

367 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. When you look upon the
Sacred Host, you look upon Jesus, the Son of God. "Indeed, this is the will of my Father, that everyone
who looks upon the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life. Him I will raise up on the last
day." (Jn 6:40) Hours that need adorers: Thursday 6 -7 am, Saturday noon-1pm, Saturday 7-8pm,
Saturday 8-9pm and Sunday 2-3pm. Please call Judy for more information 330-212-0926.

CHURCH LOCKDOWN – Beginning Monday, May 30 the doors of the Church will remain open from
5:30am until 8:00pm daily, until Labor Day, September 5. Beginning September 6, the doors will be
locked at 6:00pm. We hope more folks will take advantage of the extra hours to make a visit or a holy
hour to Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

Be ready to welcome "AND WITH YOUR SPIRIT" the new translation of the
Roman Missal - Throughout the English-speaking world, the Roman Catholic
Church is preparing priests and parishes for the significant changes to the words we
use at Mass. American Catholics will first encounter the new words on Saturday
and Sunday, November 26-27, 2011 which is The First Week of Advent, the start of
the liturgical year and the season leading up to Christmas. In the current Mass, when the priest says, "The
Lord be with you," the congregation responds, "And also with you." Come November, the congregation
will respond, "And with your spirit." Church leaders say that this new choice of words is consistent with
the language used in the Catholic Mass in French, Spanish, Italian, and German. A universal church, they
say, should have the closest thing possible to a universal missal. The current response; "And also with
you," was not meant as 'you too' or something like 'back at you'. The associate director of the USCCB
(Unites States Conference of Catholic Bishops) Secretariat of Divine Worship, Father Richard Hilgartner
says, " rather it is "an invocation to the priest as he celebrates Mass, a reminder that he is not acting on his
own, but in the person of Christ" -- a distinction that the new language will highlight. More information
will come in future bulletins.
