Suburban Studios, London (March 2009 to Till Now) - Architectural Assistant II

Suburban Studios is a mid sized firm, and I am a part of the architecture team working on planning application and
Technical Design for both residential and commercial projects. Some of the projects which I was involved are:

31 residential units of mixed tenure in Manchester, near Heald


green rail station. I was assisting in preparing planning application
design, drawings and preparing the design and assess statements.
Responsibility: Architectural Assistant: Conceptual Drawing,
presentation (work accepted for Summer Exhibition, Architectural
Section), Planning drawings and Design and access statement.

The proposed development is to provide 50 residential units of


mixed tenure as well as surface car parking, cycle storage and land-
scaped amenity space.
Responsibility: Architectural Assistant: Site Analysis, Feasibility
study and 3D modelling conceptual drawings, presentation mate-
rials, documentation and internal layouts.

Planning application for conversion of Coombe Farm, (green belt


site) which is at present a hostel to 38 high end residential units
with its auxiliary facilities including swimming pool , gym , tennis
courts ect.
Responsibility: Architectural Assistant: Site Analysis, Feasibility
study and 3D modelling conceptual drawings, presentation mate-
rials, documentation and internal layouts.

Interior alterations to existing building no.142 and 144 and new


hotel building to Upper Hampton Street with associated accom-
modation at subterranean level.
Responsibility: Architectural Assistant: Concept Design &
Design Development, Site Survey, Feasibility study, internal layouts,
Elevations, 3D existing and proposal modelling.

The proposed development is for a pair of semi-detached 3 bed-


room houses with ancillary private amenity space, off street park-
ing and suitable cycle and refuse storage.

Planning and building control drawing for a rear and side extension
for small house

Working drawings for a high end residential in south west


London.
Responsibility: Architectural Assistant: Working Drawings,
Site Visits.

Proposed alterations includes the lowering of the existing base-


ment floor level to achieve appropriate head height for intended
use (A2), demolition of the single storey rear extension and exca-
vation of land at rear to provide a light well and access to the base-
ment.

O M Construction (Sept 2008 to Feb 2009) - Site


Supervisor

O M construction is a mid size construction firm, working on


many High end residential project in London.

I was the site supervisor for a high end resident near, oxford
street, London. The house was a five story Grade II listed building,
designed by Scott Browningg Architects, UK.
Responsibility: Site Supervisor: Detail drawing, instructing the
builder and communication with architects

Fletcher Joseph Architects – Edinburgh (Jan 2008 3d exterior rendered using 3d max and vray
to Sept 2008), Part time Architectural assistant/
Visualiser

Fletcher Joseph architect is am mid-sized architectural studio


based in Edinburgh, were I worked as a part time architectural
assistant. I was more involved in preparing presentation docu-
ments, 3d images and feasibility reports for various residential and
hotel projects.

I was also involved in survey a 4 star hotel and preparing drawings


I was also involved in designing and planning a detached house

IT Skills

I have strong computer skills, this has always helped me to illus-


trate and conceptualize my design in a best way, at a given time
period with perfection. I am well verse in Sketch Up, AutoCAD,
Illustrator, Adobe design suit, 3ds Max, V-ray, Revit Swish
and movie maker.

I also have a basic knowledge of software’s like Eco-TECT,


Rivet, In-design and Rhino. Provided I am always ready to learn
new software’s, Quick learning is one of my strengths. Other skills
