[6] Knauf Insulation Mineral Wool

• Glass mineral wool with ECOSE® Technology represents a

step change in sustainability.
• It is the first ever bio-based binder, based on natural and
rapidly renewable materials.
• ECOSE Technology features: formaldehyde-free processes;
rapidly renewable materials, instead of petro-based chemicals;
reduced workplace exposures and lower levels of pollutant
emissions; reduced impact on the environment through lower
energy use; the same benefits as other products where resin-
substitution is an advantage including, wood-based panels,
abrasives and friction materials.
• The binder technology at the heart of ECOSE Technology is up to
70% less energy intensive than traditional binders.
