Limited Liability Partnership Incorporation – Process Note

Step 1:

Apply for DPIN for 2 partners in the Limited Liability Partnership (“LLP”). It is our
understanding that this will roughly take 1 week’s time to be approved.

Requirements for DPIN:

1. Identity Proof which has the DOB and father’s name of the proposed designated
partner.
2. Proof of residence
3. 2 passport size photograph pasted on white sheet of paper the self attested by the
designated partner.
4. Digital signature of both the designated partners.

Documents mentioned in 1, 2 and 3 above should be attested by the gazetted officer.

Step 2:

• File Form 1 (Application for reservation or change of name)

Step 3:

• File Form 2 (Incorporation Document and Statement)

In addition to the above, following information is required:

1. Address proof of the registered office of the LLP

It is our understanding that within 14 days of filing of Form 2, a certificate of

incorporation under Form 16 will be issued.

Step 4:

Form 3 and Form 4 may be filed with the prescribed fee simultaneously at the time of
filing Form 2 or within 30 days of the date of incorporation.
